Apple Cider Vinegar is a 6 episode TV Series streaming on February 6, 2025 on Netflix. Apple Cider Vinegar is loosely based on true events that happened in Melbourne, Australia as relayed through the 2017 book "The Woman Who Fooled the World", a book written by the journalists Beau Donelly and Nick Toscano based on their reporting for the Melbourne newspaper "The Age".

Belle Gibson is an Australian single mother, becomes a wellness influencer at the birth of Instagram. 

Belle claimed that she had cured her terminal brain cancer naturally, by eating healthy and wellness-related methods, that did not require modern medicine. 

Belle gained prominence among a large global online community, but it was soon discovered that Belle had never been diagnosed with cancer.

Milla Blake, Belle's best friend, who has a grave form of sarcoma, promotes on Instagram her cure for cancer, coffee enemas and a juice-heavy diet. 

Milla’s close friend, Chanelle, a journalist, helps Belle get her message out to the world, but later become deeply suspicious of Belle's claims.

The story also focuses on Lucy, a woman struggling with cancer who is deeply influenced by the claims made by Belle and Milla.
