AnimeMania October 9 Share October 9 The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh is a Comedy TV Series with all 8 (half-hour) episodes streaming on October 17, 2024 on Amazon Freevee. The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh is inspired by the personal experiences of Vijal Patel. It is told in (often conflicting) flashbacks, based on the testimony given by the Pradeep family while they are being interrogated by the investigators Dark Suit and Light Suit about what transpired in their first few months of their two years of being in America. The Pradeeps are a newly arrived immigrant family from India settling in Pittsburgh. After the many tribulations that the Pradeep family face, going to a new school or applying for a loan, they think often of going back to India. The Pradeep family, after surviving so many struggles, decide to stay in America and face everything together. Naveen Andrews as Mahesh Pradeep, the father, a brilliant and hopeful engineer who has uprooted his family to America for a wonderful business opportunity. Sindhu Vee as Sudha Pradeep, the mother, an intelligent and self-assured doctor, who engages in a feud with the new neighbors. Arjun Sriram as Kamal Pradeep, Mahesh and Sudha's oldest son, A mama’s boy who loves following rules and believes everybody else should as well. Sahana Srinivasan as Bhanu Pradeep, Mahesh and Sudha's daughter, a rebellious teen trying to get out from under her mother’s thumb, she finds a connection with their neighbor's son Stu. Ashwin Sakthivel as Vinod Pradeep, Mahesh and Sudha's youngest son who has a deep love for everything American, he is quick to make new friends, but he still has bullies. Ethan Suplee as Jimbo Mills,the "Pittsburgh Penguins" jersey-wearing neighbor, married to Janice, a gregarious “man's man” who tries to show the males in the Pradeep household what it means to be men in America. Megan Hilty as Janice Mills, the neighbor, Jimbo's wife, a sexy suburban "highly" Christian graduate from Carnegie Mellon University, who loves to preach forgiveness, but rarely practices what she preaches. Kamal's high school English teacher. Nicholas Hamilton as Stu Mills, the neighbor, Jimbo and Janice's son, a flannel clad hottie who likes to spend his time in the garage, and Bhanu notices. Romy Rosemont as Light Suit, the lead investigator who can't wait to retire. She is uptight and her tactics can be ruthless.
