C.J. dealing with her feeling of not having fully integrated into the group, and not being taken as seriously as the men, as their first year passed into their second.  Aaron kind of wrote it, and Allison kind of felt it, and that combined to where it became this palpable thing for C.J. that had to be acknowledged outright in the show.  It's incredibly relatable for women working in male-dominated professions.
