Notifications on topics/shows I don't follow

Here lately, I have been getting notifications for replies in topics I don't follow, and shows I don't follow; why is that? I've never made a post in those topics about those shows.

I'm sorry about that. It appears to be a random glitch in the software.

Please click on your username next to the notification bell and PM symbol in the upper right corner. Click "Manage Followed Content" in the drop-down menu. On the left side, you'll see "Forum" and "Topic". Choose whichever applied. Click on "Change", click "unfollow" and "Update Preferences".

That should take care of it but if it doesn't, please let me know.
