Snazzy Daisy July 22 Author Share July 22 (edited) Gilberto’s arrival in Miami has added more tension to the scene. We see his twisted dynamic with Yolanda, obviously transactional. We also see the petty side of Yolanda. She calls Marisol ordinary and boring. Then comes the drive-by shooting by her henchmen, targeting Marisol and Nestor’s wife. Burton has investigated Ray Dorado’s bank and shares his findings with Agent Zulio. The discovery of shady smurfing activities involving Castro’s money indicates larger political implications ahead. Nestor is getting impatient and has resorted to some violence as desperate measures. Hanging 3 bodies from a bridge is his way of reclaiming his territory. Then there’s a “gift” for the congressman. What an explosive ending for a dirty politician. This shocking twist will lead to an all out drug war. Complicated feelings aside, Janice needs to learn to say NO to Roman. Valeria’s awakening is kind of selective. She lashes out at her dad but not at her padrino. Marisol has reached her breaking point after that near-death experience. Roman totally deserves the slap on his face after that condescending apology. Edited July 22 by Snazzy Daisy Link to comment
Maisiesmom July 22 Share July 22 That was pretty good. I'm happy that the girl figured out her boyfriend was a jerk but thought there would be more of a punishment for her for what she did. I don't blame Marisol for being angry at Roman-she could have been killed. Now that the corrupt congressman is bits and pieces, I'm sure things will get very bloody soon. And for some reason I am finding Roman to be kind of sexy (just my post-menopausal hormones here lol) Link to comment
