We are halfway through S01.

Roman thinks living with Nestor will keep his family safe. DEA could arrange for the protection they need but I guess Roman trusts Nestor more than Zulio or some dirty cops.

Roman continues to use the Mutiny Hotel as his hunting ground for intel and he’s very determined to get rid of Yolanda. The intel that Yolanda being Mexican is crucial and DEA knows nothing about it. She’s not even on their radar. Can Zulio and his team perform their duties without intel from Roman? Geez.

The “Colombian necktie” scene is very gruesome to watch. Surprisingly, Yolanda isn’t the one who’s stealing from Nestor. It’s Jeronimo. 

Yolanda’s partner, Gilberto is working with the Colombian military to get rid of Cali Cartel and Escobar. In Miami, he already has Ray Dorado and the congressman in his pocket. Open your eyes, Nestor!

Andrew (the congressman’s son) is really a loser boyfriend. He’s using Valeria for free coke. I think Valeria can do better than him. But after that stunt that she pulls at the end of this episode, I think these two deserve each other. Does Roman notice her daughter popping out of the van when he’s aiming to shoot Yolanda?

Janice loves inserting herself into other people’s business. She has done that with Roman and she’s doing it again with Burton. Yes, she’s worried about them. But at this point, am not sure whether she is the voice of reason or a liability. Why put yourself in dangerous situations, girl?

Burton is questioned for his sister’s murder while Ray Dorado has an airtight alibi. The people whose Ray is working (laundering money) for most probably put a hit on Connie.

Well, shit went sideways for sure! I would kill that kid for screwing up a good plan-wonder what Roman will do to punish her. Speaking of Roman-what a great shot he is! And despite his kid messing up the plan, he carried it out anyway. I hope he finds out about his lil angel stealing the coke to do with her idiot boyfriend.
