CM-BlueButterfly May 13 Share May 13 Quote Hotel Cocaine is the story of Roman Compte (Danny Pino), a Cuban expatriate who fought against Fidel Castro in the Bay of Pigs invasion and re-made his life in Miami. He is general manager of the Mutiny Hotel, the glamorous epicenter of the Miami cocaine scene of late ‘70s and early ‘80s. The Mutiny Hotel was Casablanca on cocaine, a glitzy nightclub, restaurant and hotel frequented by Florida businessmen and politicians, international narcos, CIA and FBI agents, models, sports stars and musicians. At the center of it all was Compte, who was doing his best to keep it all going and fulfill his American Dream. Michael Chiklis will play Agent Zulio who will stop at nothing to shut down the drug trade, even if it means using innocent civilians to accomplish his ends. The premiere of the 8-episode series will be available on June 16 on MGM+, with new episodes airing on Sundays until August 4. Link to comment

Snazzy Daisy June 25 Share June 25 Hotel Cocaine Stars Answer Our Burning Q: How Do You Fake-Snort All That Powder? According to Mark Feuerstein: Quote “The special stagecraft of inhaling fake cocaine is that you go right in, and you actually just inhale nut powder — or lactose powder, which is what we use. And then later, at your hotel, after 17 hours of shooting, you feel something in your mouth and nose. And you’re like, ‘Am I stuffed up? Do I have a cold? Oh no, that’s just the nut powder, congealing in my sinuses.’ Good times.” Link to comment
