PatsyPorco March 10 Share March 10 I'm late to the party, having just finished Season 3. Why didn't Sidney propose when Amanda got engaged to another man? I don't buy the "she's out of my league" bull. He knew she was in love with him. Amanda made her bed when she married, yet she refused to lie in it. The writers tried to make her leaving her husband look like it was for cause, but what cause? Her husband was busy and took her for granted. But, the minute she had a discussion about being left out, he looked ashamed. He gave her a really nice life. He was the one who was taken for granted. Amanda was a spoiled little girl and Sidney was her counterpart. Yes, he struggled with his conscience, so he gets points. Amanda thought she was right to leave her husband and the only conscience she struggled with was Sidney's. 2 Link to comment

Kind of melodramatic. 1 Link to comment
