A survivor’s funeral puts Lorna on edge. Her sleeplessness is beginning to get to her. Is she seeing things? 

Hope then comes through unexpected information about Clemence’s daughter, and this might hold the answer to Lorna’s child’s own fate. But when Lorna finds a new ally, it brings her to a devastating truth. 

Meanwhile, Colman and Massey are at loggerheads. Colman feels that he has the evidence he needs to place Lorna and Aoife together. The net is tightening, and Colman is desperate. A final showdown between Lorna and Colman then takes an unexpected turn.

After his sister’s funeral, Clemence’s brother shows Lorna a photo of Clemence’s daughter that she got from Aoife. Lorna is hopeful that the nuns might know what happened to her daughter.

Next morning, Lorna goes to the police station for questioning. She puts hot sauce in her eyes to help her stay awake. Girl’s crazy! 😂

Dara tells Colman to look into an organization called "The House of The Sacred Shepherd", as he says Aoife is afraid of them. Colman finds out it’s an adoption agency that works with Kilkinure convent and has ceased its operation in 1979. He is confused as to why Dara would’ve mentioned it. He thinks this agency could be the link between Aoife’s disappearance, Lorna and Father Percy’s death.

A young woman named Olivia shows up at Lorna’s door, looking for her mother, Aoife. She tells Lorna that Aoife has been speaking to a journalist about the laundries but more evidence is required before the story could be published.

Lorna suspects that Aoife could be hiding some evidence somewhere. Following her instinct, she takes Olivia to the Wailing Woman’s house. Lorna finds a plastic bag hidden under the floorboard. When Lorna realizes that Olivia is not who she claims to be, she quietly takes the evidence and ditches her. The bag contains envelopes addressed to multiple women including her. Lorna finds a death certificate signed by Aoife. Her baby died of shivering.

Colman breaks into Lorna’s house and confronts her about everything - the burning of Father Percy’s car and the fact that Aoife is last seen with her on the Halloween night.

Unable to handle the pressure of being called a liar and the death of her child, Lorna becomes restless. She starts hearing banging sounds and her paranoia gets worse. Eventually she explodes and confesses to Colman that she killed Aoife and hid her inside the wall. She destroys the wall to show him the body but the body is not there. Aoife’s body is missing! 😱
