Milburn Stone February 19, 2023 Share February 19, 2023 TO: Sally Hawkins fans (and everyone else) The other night, I found--practically accidentally--this movie on Prime. She plays a woman with a form of schizophrenia, which may or may not have been caused (or made worse) by the awful family she grew up in and remains a part of. The rest of the cast is great also, and includes Penelope Wilton, Billie Piper, and David Thewlis. It is a beautiful, horrifying, wonderful, sad, happy, cold, warm movie, engrossing from the get-go, written and directed by Craig Roberts. I could go on, but I won't, because there's so much to unpack. This post is really meant just to flag it to your attention if, like me, you didn't know about it, and because I will love to read the thoughts of others who've seen it. Link to comment
