Yet the extensions hold the curls for days & my own hair loses the curl within a couple hours which obviously ends up looking ridiculous & then you can tell where my real hair stops & where the extensions are. Chhow November 17, 2022 Share November 17, 2022 Your hair and hair extensions have different textures and react differently to the same styling. Finding hair extensions with the same structure as yours is very difficult. Also, your hair may be of better quality or just straight, smooth and nourished, which makes it difficult to style. Hair extensions could be subjected to some kind of deformation, which is why they hold curls better.
