I figure that a comics-based thread is long overdue. We can talk about Peacemaker past and present . . . from his days at Charlton Comics to Alan Moore transforming the character into Comedian in Watchmen, to DC Comics opting to make him a psycho who truly believes in achieving peace no matter who got killed. Also, he believed his helmet held the souls of the guys he killed. Kinda like Katana's sword, only . . . .creepier.

Also, we can talk about characters name-dropped. For instance, Bat-Mite has been established for years, and yes, he is a total Batman stan. Matter-Eater Lad was introduced in 1962. He's associated with the Legion of Super Heroes, he's been present with most incarnations of the team (original, reboot, "threeboot," etc.), and his power is eating anything.
