If the mods need to remove or rename, that's fine.] I loved this show growing up, and was about Punky's age. But man, looking at the story synopses, a lot of those episodes were dark. Not just here and there -- whole strings of episodes. Punky's friend Cherie nearly dies in a refrigerator. Remember that? Then Punky is shipped off to the orphanage for five episodes while Henry becomes seriously ill with a bleeding ulcer. Then Punky watches the Challenger explode. This is the last seven episodes of Season Two! Punky's pluck must have made up for a lot of it, because I still enjoyed the show. But jeez -- it was one never-ending Very Special Episode.
