I don’t remember judicial in the books. If it was there it was not important.

I can see the book in the first two episodes.  5 episodes in and I’m thinking the show is moving away from the books in a big way. I’m finding it confusing, boring and pointless. 

[S03.E09: Coming Home]

I expect Danny to die in the last episode-not a spoiler total speculation. If the show stays true to form, he’ll die doing something heroic that will save the rest of the crew. 

I’m not surprised at what I Ellen did. The scene with Pam last week made it her only option. 

[S26.E11: Season Finale]

You folks are brutal. Clayton is a big meathead and a bit of a doofus but seems like a lot of guys in their twenties. He didn’t really listen when Gabby and Rachel explained how they felt; he was too busy formulating his defense. But I don’t see how he’s such a bad guy. His loss of temper with Susie showed his immaturity but it wasn’t abuse or gaslighting. He showed anger, but that’s human. He showed a lack of self awareness but that is human too. He’s a people pleaser who tripped over his own emotional feet on national tv. I don’t think he’s evil and I don’t think he’s a douche.

To me, as a lawyer, Chandra's actions just weren't believable.  It doesn't seem realistic that she would be that inappropriate.

Both the trial and investigation were badly done and hard to believe.  I just kept thinking - how could they get that testimony allowed?  All that stuff about Naz in school - just no basis to admit it.  Why didn't the defense lawyers go over the films, the phone records, the computer records, and the financial records with a fine tooth comb?  Why didn't the defense lawyers create a timeline of every activity of the victim and of Naz in the day leading up to the murder?  I've worked on murder cases, and just about every aspect of the investigation and defense was not believable.  I was yelling at the TV but kept watching because I thought John Turturro and the guy playing Naz put in excellent performances.

Cracking a windows password if you have physical access to the computer is ridiculously (as in frightening if you care about the security of your computer)  easy to do. 

[S01.E04: Close to the Metal]

The technobabble in this episode was a bit much.  I work as a computer forensics examiner, and I have extensive experience with data recovery.  Keep in mind that the tools available at that time were pretty primitive too, and computers were slow.  The part where they rebuilt the drive was pretty ridiculous, not that it can't be done, but it's hard and you need a clean room and it takes  along time - you don't do it with a bunch of people standing around watching out in the open.
