Guess I forgot like 90% of her kills. I only remembered her two husbands.

My brain probably tried to make sense of the fact that Dexter would leave harrison with a serial killer.

The original plan was he was going to join them. Then Deb died and he realized that he was more toxic than Hannah, and that he should leave them be.

I don't think it's known yet how Harrison located Dexter -- he couldn't have found him on his own. Hannah must be behind it and could soon make an appearance. Maybe he'll even move to Argentina by the end of the season.

Hannah has been dead for two years. I don't think she will be much help.

I'm not agreeing with you on the actresses pregnancy. You can't always time a pregnancy, maybe she's been trying for a while and this was finally it, maybe it was a surprise, who knows? But it's not ick, it's just life and congrats to her on her upcoming baby.

I don't know how much bigger the fruit bowl has to be to hide this crap, and I hate when shows think they are successful at it. They should have sent Sarah off to the Peace Corp for a year or something. And then, when she has the kid, she will mysteriously disappear.

I just want to know where one gets these toddlers (twins, no less!) who seem to need about 5 minutes of attention per day.

  4. I wish Sarah and Denise would stop talking about having a baby when they are broke. And the actress playing Sarah is so hugely pregnant it's like an elephant in the room. THREE MONTH hiatus and she couldn't have timed that better. Ick.

The fact that they thought "eighteen fifty" meant $18.50 and not $1850.00 for a handmade, custom (?) vase is asinine. Two thousand is a lot to me but twenty bucks is a massive devaluing of an artists work.

Artist? She is mass marketing a plain white vase in her kiln. It's like Home-Ec pottery class.

. I mean, I get it: they needed a reason for Matthew to be in Poplar at night just as the train derailed. But once he was there, him helping out felt more natural. The fact that the show is giving him more of a presence in Poplar & Nonnatus House without Trixie being there tells me that he may finally be the one for her.

Hardly. They needed more good looking men on the show. Trixie is knocked up and off the show, so they need some eye candy more than ever.

Shelagh is working in her husband's medical practice.  It's not like she's going out to work in a factory.  She's assisting her husband in his business.

I don't care about the side-eye, but who is actually watching these kids?

So the Roseanne characters that The Conners pretend never existed are: Fred, Jerry, Andy...who else?

Acting like Jackie is just some old maid who has never known love is just part of the destruction of the character and I hate it.

Yeah, I don't know why they are doing that. The actress claimed the Arena for Emmy's playing a very interesting character, and now they are trashing her.

Wow, based on how cold Shelagh was to Timmy, perhaps neither nursing nor the sisterhood was the proper vocation for her.

She has coddled Timmy since she met him. It was nice to see her address him as the adult he is becoming. No time for hurt feelings in a crisis like that. Just get the message! I liked how she sided with her husband about his rude words to his father.

By the late 60's, a woman in her 30's like Trixie, was more likely than not to be sexually active.  Even those with strong religious backgrounds had premarital sex more often than not back then.

And she definitely did not have a religious background. For all of the knocked up single women they deal with, they should make Trixie pregnant instead of sending her back to Portofino. Let's see how Nonnattus deals with THAT.

Monica Joan has got to go. She is so blasphemous as a nun and she rambles endlessly. They kill off the wrong characters.

  10. What is with these people? How do they generate so many celebrations every year? I swear, they declare a parade if someone hiccups.

I adore the show, but did they really induce so many celebrations every few weeks? I want to climb all into my hamster ball after awhile.

She didn’t, though. She bought the knife at Dollar Tree. I loved when she was all “cell phone towers aren’t accurate” and the detective was like “actually…”. Pam just thought she was SO SMART. Loved seeing her brought down a peg or two finally.

Wait, Russ really is engaged to the lady Pam tried to lure first?

What I don’t understand is why Russ’s daughters don’t talk to him. If anyone should not be talking to the other you’d think it would be the other way around since he was wronged and they (or, according to this show, one of them) treated him like he was guilty. Russ is unequivocally innocent. It’s sad to me they couldn’t work it out.

I loved this series and thought RZ killed it. Bravo to everyone involved.  Can’t wait to see the follow up show next week!

I think  one daughter still thinks he did it, and he isn't speaking to the other daughter because she scored him jail time.

What I don't get is who killed Betsy? Pam was convicted of murder for trying to implicate Russ, but did they ever give Betsy justice?

  12. An entire touching episode without a Whining Pierson monologue. Heaven!

When my friend died of cancer, his widow started sleeping with his best friend two months after he was buried. I know grief can cause some crazy, but I was hurt and disappointed in both of them. It was jarring and upsetting seeing them dismiss him so quickly.

This show initially made Rebecca and Miguel getting together so scandalous, but it really happened over so much time and resistance, it felt organic and sweet..

How on EARTH will they handle Rebecca now that her stabilizing force is gone and her condition is terrible? I'm hoping Kevin takes over, since he was inserting himself into her routine when Miguel was struggling.

And SO much wasted food on TV! Nobody ever finishes their meals. Oh, and never shutting the door when they go in a house.

Or locking the door when they go out...

Or saying goodbye when they hang up the phone.

Although I never lock my doors, so it happens.

  14. I despise Randall. He comes off as sensitive, but he Gaslights as needed to gain control, leaves his family in the rear view mirror when he finds some new way to win his mommy's approval or compensate for his abandonment issues, and I hate watching a wife be put through his tidal waves of drama and his need to prove himself.

I have Peacock and wanted to watch the episode(s) (There are actually 4 Dateline's that cover it) as a refresher before starting this series.  For whatever reason (assuming it's due to this show) none of them are available on the streaming service.  There is, however, an episode of "Snapped" on Peacock that covers it more succinctly if anyone wants to see the true story.

Thanks. I have YouTube TV and Peacock, and YouTube TV has dozens and dozens of old Dateline episodes available, but not the ones about Pam. NBC also removed them from their own site.

WHY!?  I remember seeing them, and now would be the perfect time to re-air them.

If he actually got his own place and she did deny him access, I can't imagine a judge ruling against Kevin having some time of shared custody. I would hate to see the show go there though, it is so cliche.

Doesn't this show have enough bad guys? Can't one character be sincere?

There's no reason why Madison can't bring the kids to Kevin's

You mean his sister's couch? I'm sorry, but this girl has been more lenient than anyone in real life would, and It is not a couple I would attack, just because Kevin missed some stuff. Sadly, they are more functional that any other couple on the show.

Short clip of that Cosby show where Vanessa lies. I guess having Beth's mom in the house at the same time would have been too "cute". ; )

The kids lied in other episodes but this was the most iconic. Deja would be much more savvy.

Phylicia Rashad is a monster who approved of the the atrocities that Cosby did, things he openly admitted to doing. Her nasty ass being on this show is a level of trash that can't steep much lower.

The only thing I can see with regards to Kevin and his situation with the twins is Kevin is being too nice to Madison.  He's bending himself backwards to allow Madison to retain full custody of the kids instead of asserting his rights as their father.  Kevin knows how much Nicky and Frannie mean to Madison that he does not want to rock the boat.  Successful co-parenting is not bowing to one parent's whims while ignoring the other, and that is what is happening right now.  Kevin is being too generous with Madison.  I know that is his nature, but this is a time for Kevin to be a little bit selfish and tell Madison their situation is not working.  Kevin's needs when it comes to the twins are just as valid as Madison's needs.

I don't get this. Madison clearly understood that Kevin didn't love her, so they parted ways, but she has not denied him any access to the kids. If anything, he has just not been available when the kids are actually awake. This would be the easiest custody battle ever if Kevin actually rose to that occasion.

Beth is smart about the birth control because

If Beth was smart she would not be with that weird ass stalker husband and let her kids mouth off to her so much. She is a hopeless woman who married badly and really should have had better radar.

Anyone else have a taste for smoked meat? Oh, and the reason his hands were all over the meat is because he is BLIND and wanted to be sure the meat was on the grill. Guessing he washes his hands far more often than those of us who can see.

Agreed. He is only cooking for someone who is already familiar with his germs, lol.

I play poker regularly with people who constantly snack and lick their fingers, then handle the cards and chips, and I often wonder what plague I might catch if I win the hand and collect all the chips.
