  1. Please don't call Leverage a guilty pleasure. As far as I'm concerned it's one of the best TV shows made.  But it was interesting to encounter Chapman during one of my regular full-series Leverage re-watches.

Hey, my bad - I'm happy to take the "guilty" out and just leave it as pleasure, because I love Leverage almost as much as PoI!

  2. I've gone through the first four episodes of season 1 since I was so late to the series. The first PoI for me was "Razgovor" from season 3, and I was hooked forever from this:

    REESE:

Finch, you aren't going to believe this, but Shaw just got made by a ten-year-old...

  3. I would like to have John Nolan doing a modified intro in his most sneering, condescending "Greer" voice to Dr Pepper's intro - might as well, as they've been using Samaritan's red triangle "relevant threat" indicator in the series intertitle instead of the Machine's "yellow box" around the "of" in "Person of Interest" since season 4.

  4. I want the Machine to some how infect or corrupt Samaritan into seeing Greer as a relevant threat and acting thusly.

Members of Team Machine getting killed.... I can see Reese getting his while saving Harold, or Lionel catching many Samaritan bullets while saving Shaw or possibly Root, like Hersh trying to defuse that fertilizer bomb under the library after being shot in the back at least three times - Lionel won't go down after only one shot.

Maybe John and Lambert will take each other out?

  5. What a cool thread!

Fave villains? Definitely Elias, Scarface, Alonzo Quinn, Patrick Simmons, the old white-haired HR guy who looked like he swallowed a toad and took "rooftop meetings," Hersh, Ma'am, "Peter Collier," circa 2013-2015 Greer, Kara Stanton, and Link from the Brotherhood.

Disclosure: I figured Clarke Peters, Boris McGiver and Jamie Hector would knock it out of the ballpark since they were so good as Lester Freamon, Lieutenant Marimow and Marlo Stansfield in The Wire

Least-faves? Smirking Mark Snow, "Special Counsel," Martine Broussard (her *NeckSnap* being my all-time fave Root moment), Dominic, Harper, Claire.

  6. If you're binge-watching it anyway, I'd suggest just watching all the episodes. There's often little bits of mythology peppered in amongst the procedural stuff in S1 and S2 which is well worth it when it comes up again. With specific regards to Reese, his "wooden" personality will very much part of his character later on, and because almost part of the charm of the Man in the Suit.

This, definitely - especially for things like the origin/introduction of Bear.
  7. Louis is a world-champion-class dick, his scared/pissed-off rat face, treachery and all around smarminess has been in place from season one. Remember how long ago Louis "left" his dictaphone in Harvey's office? How long ago was that?

I wish Jessica would've gone ahead and "fired the shit out of him" as she had intended to.

  8. I'm ready for the new season. Hope they keep the convoluted plots to a minimum this time.

I predict Donna will be back with Harvey in no less than 3 shows.

    Totally with you on that....
  9. I just got Dish installed last Sunday after having ditched Comcast seven months ago. I SO looked forward to last night's episode and....WTFFFFFF??!!?? Everyone is going on about Harvey handling/not handling no Donna . Well, I can't see Donna working too long with Louis...seriously. Even "Well...I'm Donna" is forced and awkward, and I just know that sooner or later - most likely sooner - Louis is going to somehow screw the pooch so badly in court, or just be a total dick to Donna one time too many, and then Donna will reconsider her choices and come back to Harvey post haste.

The showrunners here are pissing me off as much as Plageman and Nolan with Person of Interest.
