I think you're right. I had a knee-jerk reaction to what I felt was a tone-deaf promo. I shouldn't criticize things that haven't even happened yet. Hopefully, it will be an entertaining season.

I'm disappointed. I was looking forward to watching season 5. Hopefully, this will only be for one episode (which I can either make it through or skip entirely), because if I have to endure an entire season of "Supernatural Easter eggs", I will give up. I mean no offense to these actors or Supernatural the series, but if I wanted to watch Supernatural, I would go to Netflix. If these guys want to keep doing Supernatural, they should do a reboot. This is being promoted as a Supernatural reunion. It's a little insulting to imply that The Boys needs a Supernatural reunion to make it worth watching. It's time to move on.
