If David goes on a tear I may hate this show. I want someone to be there for lots of weeks not just get randomized late in the game. You want a story on a game show like this, and I want a normie to take it.

also, if you avoid the single squares because you're scared of David Madden, go back to the floor and let's say "European Geography" gets randomized, he is forced to play something else, meaning David might not ever play his expert category. this is just an example, but there's benefit to being scared of a category. You just have to wait for the randomizer to do it's work and force that person to be forced to play something else they might hate. The "critters" guy fell to this.

I think it's more so Toni then it is the boost. There also isn't really an incentive to go for it. There's more incentive to try and make your way to Poetry but he's basically blocked off now.

Finally! The left side of the floor has taken matters into their own hands and decided that they should overtake brian. If you can't beat the 20k club, join the 20k club. I thought Sifat and stephanie's strategies were good, because inheritance is horrible. Inheritance eventually takes you out. You fill find something that is not defendable. From here on out. the two sides of the floor will fight for 20k. No more easy wins. Thank god. And no longer will the randomizer be a factor(cough * episode 3 * cough *), I think. No hate on Brian, I'm just glad the other side of the floor came to their senses and didn't pass up the chance to even up the game.

The show didn't drag this time in my eyes, but the contestants need to stop yelling(I am more a fan of the silent reactions on the floor where they make funny faces) but now they are just yelling for more screentime. In season 1 and 2 they didn't yell as much and when someone passed it felt more serious.

I feel bad for the girl that didn't know Tom Hanks. That's all she's going to be known for now.

It is smart play if you are trying to survive on the floor alone. There's no reason to challenge Brian and win if you are not even assured $20K. Everyone is afraid to defend a large territory(the $20K one) for even a few duels unless you have something you are confident defendin. The floor is not a group sport. They want to let someone next to Brian take him out or if people have categories they like, they are trying to stop Brian from getting a boost the next time he chooses to play on. The entire floor "technically" benefits if there is not once huge piece of land in a weird way but idk this isn't fleshed out idea yet. For the floor as a whole, I think the floor is maybe trying to get to the point of "everyone can be randomized" again because everyone that goes back with 2 or 3 squares is safe for a certain number of episodes. They are trying to avoid "to win 20k, you must go through x" Clint has a very safe wall of territory in front of him and he's gonna be here a lot longer. "You're just paying brian" - Calrione(Boy Bands) guy The floor: We're not doing this for you calrione. Everyone is fighting for themselves. They're not fighting for you or to take out brian. Everyone wants to take out brian, but no one voultneered to be the sacrafical lamb and there's never a guarantee that sacrafical lamb will even take him out. Basically, everyone's chicken, but being a chicken keeps them in the game. Not if there are still more than 3 duels left.

There was a similar team in Chris and Mary on one recent season as well with the same connection and they got eliminated waiting too long

I'm pretty sure it's just a one-episode experiment, so afterwards the game will resume as it was before. I think they're changing the prize or how the randomizer works. Must be to address complaints about the entire "she only had to play X duels" the entire way or "X played 12 duels and got nothing!". We'll see how it goes and if it works or not, but it's too early to tell. By the way, 9 duels for episode 3.

I heard via Wikipedia that in episode 4 they are going to shake things up, apparently.

I bet the producers thought she was a controversial character but more so in "people will talk about her, in positive ways or bad ways" and I think she is a very you love her or you hate her type character. Either way, it gets people talking, and it's good for the show, somewhat. It's funny how she said she knew everything about her category then struggled to remember said things about that category and I think it was funny to see her get eliminated after getting so cocky about it.

Episode 2 airs on Wednesday but I think people will stream it. Likely because well... that first episode had really badly timed commercials. Kinda getting sick of the randomizer music and then commerical.

If the producers pick the category everybody gets, then naturally people who can get the producers to stick them with their category of choice I would also like to mention that Keelan could've gotten knocked out if Keelan was chosen by the randomizer at any point during the finale, as he would have to play something other than periodic table(We saw this with Mena in the beginning). The randomizer didn't pick him, and it once again illustrates the issue everyone was saying(if you are the last to get picked, you will win) and now it's just being gamed by winning one duel, waiting for everyone else to go, keeping your OG category, hoping the leader picks off the others, and once again, hoping you didn't get picked by the randomizer. If Keelan gets picked at any point during this finale by the randomizer he almost for sure does not win as he likely sucks at Shakespeare. Catherine(blue jacket) tried to knock Keelan out via "Russian roulette" as she called it, and failed. It's once again about being picked as the last one, but this season it was just about being the last person to have your OG category. There is something inherently wrong with the randomizer that needs to be fixed because the two-square thing makes it so easily gameable until the end of the season. It's better to be randomized then to be challenged because you will keep your original category in the process. You are then safe with your original category until someone challenges you(not to mention the edge/corner strategy) if you go back to the floor because your original category scares them off, which in turn would keep you safe until everyone has dueled. But all this power, for one duel(yes you might have bad options for duel choices) seems a bit too OP. All categories were played, and we never found out officially, but I think a contestant said that it was going to be international Foods(the unplayed category from season 1).
