  1. I thought it was pretty good. I never watched Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul. I remember him from way back in School Daze. Lol. I have seen him here and there over the years and enjoyed his work. I am looking forward to how this will play out. It is 6 episodes correct?

Also, it's kind of messed up that the cleaning women tortured and killed seven people based only on the evidence of them having a star-shaped drill, and that this was presented as "hooray for these brave heroines!" We know that the scientists all killed Annie, but they certainly didn't.

I think it is inferred that the other cleaning woman took pictures of "some other evidence" etc etc .... gotcha! It is a known fact that the US used cleaning women to help defeat Hitler. You see they were cleaning his secret bunker one night  when one of the women discovered a half crushed swastika in the floorboards and went to investigate ...... lol.

That is one brave chick to climb down the hatch and investigate. One would think that the scientists knowing what they were doing was top secret would never have let anyone of those women out of their sight for any length of time... but I digress.

I guess we can say they went with the Murder on the Orient  Express solution.

Can someone answer a question for me? Liz and Navarro stuck in the freezing lab with just a small fire. I was thinking to myself .."isn't there gas in those trucks?" Then later they are seen driving one of the trucks into town. So they weren't actually in danger after all? Did I miss something?

Half the time I forget about the scientists,

This kind of has me a little upset. If I am honest a mystery where 5 scientists are killed and found frozen together out in the middle of the snow is way more interesting than an old murder mystery and an "evil mining company" I will watch the last episode tomorrow but I am ready to move on at this point.

  4. I know this is not real life but I am guessing that the only two police officers to be trusted are Liz and Pete and the trooper although I am still afraid that she is a loose canon which will get someone in trouble.

When Liz and Pete were all - brush lightly brush lightly .... and one of the officers tries to come in with the hand saw and she's like "GTFO!" lol.

  5. I didn't remember as much from the last episode and didn't re-watch it because of football. I still can't believe they didn't have an accurate count on the frozen bodies. Liz is going to be roasted over that.

I guess I miss understood. Who was Hank texting to earlier about sending money for a sick mother? Is he being phished? He seems dumb enough for it.

  6. I do think it is funny how Sazz always shows up wearing the same clothes as Charles as if they are perpetually on a TV set.

I partially agree with you on Tobert, but to be honest his entire character was dressed and acted to make him as suspicious as can possibly be. I mean it seems he was added as "suspicious possible murder love interest ......" I forgive him somewhat though when I saw him in that hat. lol

Poor Howard.  He was totally trying to pitch himself as Jonathan's replacement, but Oliver just put himself on stage instead.  Then again, who doesn't want to watch Martin Short belt out some Broadway-style lyrics?!

That one totally shocked me as I expected Howard to get his debut.

I was surprised at the ending and maybe a little disappointed. It kind of came out of the blue for me but I guess they have the writers back and will have plenty of time to think up a new chapter to this series.

Donna was in the court room in the final scene. It must be an obvious misdirect. She was actually there to bail out Loretta or something to keep the show going...

Why did they not play the videos of all of the interrogations? I didn't see one for Kimber or Bobo. Are they officially out as suspects?

  9. I liked this episode better. I actually loved the call Oliver made to you know who about Matthew. And of course the call back to the very end of Ferris Beuller's Day off was a fitting ending.

I chuckled at Matthew and Charles both going for the Ferris role.

  10. I liked that they were back at the theater but didn't connect with Steve Martin's monologue in the bathroom. It was shades of his white room performance.

They really are the best when they work together so I hope this breakup doesn't last too long.

Were my eyes deceiving me or was dude actually cooking that rat?!!

Remember all the tunnels in the hotel? Did they ever address that? Or can people still get back there and spy on all the apartments?

You know that is a great question. I mean not just the tunnels but the secret elevator that stops on each floor. I would have expected that they would be using those more often. I guess they have conveniently forgotten about them at this point.

But I love the pull out bookcases in the reading nook.

The second I saw him pull it out I was like "where can I get a couple of those?" Seriously it would instantly solve a couple of my small bookcase problems

Dear Gods, I hope not. Then again, I vaguely remember Oliver had a wild life during the seventies... Sex & drugs & son of sam games...

Are we expecting another 70s flashback with Loretta showing up at another party?

  14. Yeah I got the Loretta admiring from afar. I wonder what they were arguing about though? I am getting the idea that Ben may not have known but his brother does which is why she was being repp'd by him?

I don't know this was an OK episode. For some reason that tooth scene squicked me out too much.....

I also think Ben (or Ben’s twin) left the message on the mirror. I  think that the reason he was so stressed about the  red mark is bc, if he’s sharing the role, the sibling doesn’t have the mark and they can’t switch out.

Uh oh shades of The Prestige?

  16. This one was a disappointment for me. I didn't mind Cynda coming back into the picture as it gives the murder mystery more of a front and center place.

I still don't know why stage performers are not rehearsing at the theater? Can someone enlighten me on why they were locked out?

The Steve Martin white scenes got less and less interesting as they went along. I did like Andrea Martin but feel she is truly the zany red herring.

Until the Cynda scene sometimes I forgot they were actually working on a mystery. I gue

  17. I thought dude shushing Mabel in the surprisingly spacious armoire was Hella creepy.
I did chuckle at Howard's push for his sponsor.
"Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there..."
    Lol.

Wow am I the only one watching the credits that just now noticed that the hankerchiefs Ben had given out had little rattles on them?

I wondered if Mabel noticing that the photos of Ben and Gregg were PhotoShopped was an oblique reference to AI?

That is an interesting point. It could be. And of course the terrible quality of the "photoshopping" could be an additional dig against AI.

Some of the funniest scenes have been when Gene, deep in self-righteousness, turns on a dime and abandons his stance when there's the possibility of a production.

The scene from a previous season (3)? when Gene was about to kick Barry out of the program.

As I remember it Gene was all "Barry this is not working out....."

Barry"Mr Couiseneau I am going to use you as an inspiration for this character.."

    Gene. "Go on......"

I am misremembering it I am sure but I remember it being hilarious.
