She is a great fit! Unfortunately the hours/pay is very similar to DCC but imagine she is doing it more for the experiences.

Marissa is going to be moving to Orlando, Florida and is going to be a character performer at Walt Disney World, possibly Disney Cruise line! ✨

I agree that they could be switched but the reason why I initially have Dani here is because she has been featured more in DCC promotional materials and as the point during the Christmas shows at The Star this pass year. Similar to Rachel W but I think Dani is better and comes across as more approachable than Rachel W.

10000% agree! I am curious to see how the 1st and 2nd GL roles will end up for next season... If there are no major injuries, vet cuts, or vet retirements (apart from the 5-6 currently speculated) than the majority of the team would vets from the same rookie classes. Also with DCCs strengthen their ties to the Miss America organization and other college dance/pom programs there has to be a lot of talented people coming up!

I’m not saying everyone who goes to extra team workouts or posts about training has gotten a weight warning. I’m saying that it would make sense if the ones who are constantly posting about those types of things more recently are ones who have been given a weight warning. Again I don’t know who has/hasn’t gotten a weight warning recently for certain but some girls that came to mind who have been extra showy about those topics would be Ashlinn, Kleine, and Tori.

Sadly there really isn't too much to discuss on here till audition season gets closer but, I just got done catching up with one of my friends who lives in Frisco/The Star area and I feel like I have to share! *This is gossip I am sharing from someone who is very familiar with the day-to-day prodancer lifestyle in the DFW area so take it as you will!* They were explaining to me how you can better guess who is re-auditioning for the upcoming season and who is/has been giving a *tone up* warning. Besides having one of the DCC tell you what their plans are for next season, it is best to check their Instagram, specifically stories. The girls on the current team almost always know who is/isn't re-auditoning or who's on the fence (usually undecided based on status of injuries/relationship status/etc. So the ones who are planning on re-auditioning and/or have possibly gotten a weight warning are going to be posting on Instagram stories ALOT about working out/healthy eating/pilates/personal training/dance classes/meal prepping/etc. The red flags get bigger if they are posting about any of those things either using the well known DCC sponsors or are posting with other DCCs about these things. As soon as they explained it to me and I looked up some of the current DCCs who I have noticed fit this bill it totally adds up! TPTB have to have eyes on the girl's socials and if a DCC is on weight warning and posts that they are at an early morning F45 class with some of the calendar girls, it is like subliminally showing TPTB that they are working on *the problem*. Also I just want to have it on record that if Victoria gets VOTY I am going to be sick. Obviously VOTY/ROTY are supposed to be peer voted awards and I do not have a say in it but personally I would rather see it go to literally anyone else. I do not hate Victoria, at this point as long as she doesn't try to teach "how to have an ED" I am indifferent towards her. But if she won VOTY for THIS SEASON I would not believe that it came from anyone other than Kelly/Judy/TPTB in honor of VK/Tina. Please let me know whatever you think! I am currently stuck inside because of Year 3 of Dallaska and miss the discussions!

I’m sorry a lot of these sentences start with “I” or if my sentence structure is bad, looking this over hurts the student in me but it has been far too long since I posted. Don’t worry I haven’t been caught by TPTB or anything I’ve just been busy dealing with mental health things (ironic given My Cause My Boots-don’t worry I have thoughts and will post them sometime Monday/Tuesday) I am nervous for Madeline. I have always routed for Madeline and seen her as someone who is quirky and genuine, she doesn’t try to fit into any DCC mold like some have tried to do. I was REALLY nervous for Madeline earlier in this year’s Training Camp since both her and Victoria would be on considered Vets on the same team. My nerves were based on what I have seen and heard around Madeline’s 1st Training Camp, (TV show season 14, the 2019-2020 football season, Victoria’s 2nd time in Training Camp leading to start to of Victoria’s official rookie year) I was relived after seeing how she really bonded with last year’s team, especially her rookie sisters, with Victoria was not in a leadership position, and they were not in the same group. I think Madeline getting placed into Group 4 was the ABSOLUTE BEST outcome for her this year. Kelsey and Claire are the two best of group leaders for her since they both have a perfect blend of dance technique/precision and style/power/making the moves look fun and effortless. So my fingers are crossed that they are both helping her continue to improve her DCC style dancing. There are times her movements look uncomfortable/awkward for her to do and I think part of the blame is her college’s dance programs focus on Bob Fosse/Jazz routines. When she came back into Training Camp (TV show Season 16, the 2021-2022 football season, Madeline’s 2nd time in Training Camp leading to the start of Madeline’s official rookie year) she was so much better and more confident in her dancing, similar to Erin “breaking out of her ballet box”. I was also slightly fearful for Jalyn at the beginning of this year’s Training Camp but I think because she was a 2nd leader last year and had that full last year to be a leader apart of a team that didn’t all know the experience of being a team with Victoria, I am less worried about her even though Victoria is in her group this year. If Victoria were to pull anything like she did her 1st Training Camp or her Rookie year aimed towards Jalyn it would end up A WHOLE LOT WORSE. All of this to say I am praying/wishing/sending good vibes/manifesting that Madeline continues to improve and is possibly given a chance to shine in a featured routine (Thanksgiving with the JoBros?) or get a Game Day Girl/IG Takeover/Sideline Sweetheart/Abbey Bear. HOT TAKE! I think 90% of the girls placements should be different per routine, especially in routines like the Halloween halftime they just did. I shouldn’t be able to see that they are in the same exact formation as the pregame performance. When the genres of dance are different and/or they are only going to do a routine once a season they should find the girls that are DANCING THAT ROUTINE THE BEST, like an actual audition. Maybe then the girls would be overstretching and practicing more in the name of healthy competition instead the “healthy competition” TPTB have of “does A. look skinny or fat standing next to B.?” I don’t know why but I feel very emotionally attached to Madeline. Maybe it is because she reminds me of myself and how you can be working towards the same thing as someone else and as much as you want it, work for it, give you blood, sweat, and tears for it, there is that someone else right next to you having an easier track laid out for them to get there. And listen I know she is only a 2nd year Vet and there is a lot of talented Rookies and Vets but I think she deserves a turn in the DCC spotlight. 🌟

I remember hearing about this but honestly my experience was that is was never 100% enforced. During the time is was making news if someone didn't bring their own bags the store would give them either paper or maybe plastic bags. Similar to the very short couple of weeks/months that the mask policies were actually strict. If someone went inside somewhere without a mask the employees would provide them with one. But that is a whole other thing, with questions like this just look towards how Texas generally as handled anything in the past 2-3 years and there is your answer. 😓

As someone who has worked in many different areas of customer service/retail/hospitality who is also a women in 2022, if I was there when she was filming this I would make an effort to stay away only to not be filmed. I do not want to be filmed by someone I do not know and on a device that I don't have access to/do not know where that footage is going. I hate that my mind goes here but, Human Trafficking and extremely high in North Texas and Texas is the 2nd worst state for Human Trafficking. I have been raised to be very aware of my surroundings and stay alert because even in the wealth areas next to The Star you can never be to careful. Again I hate that my mind goes here and I imagine that this wasn't even on Victoria's radar and she was filming with trusted friends or family so this is not in anyway a dig at Victoria.

YES thank you! During Final Panel Interviews 2018 Maddie is asked by Kelli to talk about My Cause My Boots (MCMB) and after Taylor J and Breenan are asked what their choice of charity would be and why. I thought is was a great question that is personal to everyone that answers and shows that they have thought about all areas of the job as a DCC not just what pose you want to do in your cameo. (no shade to Auto Amy) Hannah comes to mind as one of the DCCs that I would like to talk to and thank her for using her voice to help eliminate the stigma around mental health illness like Anxiety and Depression. ONLY if the time and place was appropriate I'm not out here trying to bother anyone while they are in the bathroom or anything like that! I was at the Shop of Legacy last week and saw Kleine and either Tyra or Darian eating lunch together out on a restaurant patio. I walked right by them and noticed Kleine's hair in a big claw clip and her now signature silver glasses. I took a mental note and kept walking because they are clearly "off the clock" and I wouldn't want to bother them while they are enjoying their time off, especially after I saw they had a stadium rehearsal a couple of hours later. I'm hopeful that the TPTB will better this year because they have let the DCC promote their own Instagrams when they are in charge of the Gameday Takeover. (Ex. Elli this past Sunday) I hope that we will see more DCC getting opportunities to have appearances in the community that lean more towards being charitable and not as profitable. I know the girls do not get to choose the appearances plus they have jobs/families/life on top of DCC. So this is more towards TPTB, allow the girls to do more charitable community appearances ALL THROUGH OUT THE YEAR.
