I notice that to advertise the show a picture of Elizabeth is shown, so there is an awareness that beauty is an attraction, however, in the series itself there is no replacement for Elizabeth an the other female lead isn't on that level. Sorry to say neither is Agnes (the name is one thatis not in vogueeither), Elizabeth's daughter, who if she took after her parents would be an attractive child, too. The only time I saw an attractive woman she was stereotyped as a shallow woman. To me, this detracts from the overall appeal of the series.
