My son was told he was the father. He was ecstatic, built a nursery, financially and emotionally supported the mom to the hilt, watched the baby be born. Best day of his life. Two months later he did a paternity test and learned he was not the baby's father. Long story short, the judge won't take him off the birth certificate without a replacement (which the mom is withholding) so my son has to pay $850 a month for 18 years to support someone else's child. (it was $425, now it is doubled because he does not have the baby half the time) ALWAYS GET A PATERNITY TEST. 100% OF THE TIME. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING UNTIL YOU DO IT. Good luck JL.
