    I hope you are all having a great summer...some of you already know that I am at the cottage for the summer and therefore not posting as much..just enjoying nature and family...will be back in September...I try every once in awhile though to come by and read all the snark here and get a chuckle...have a great summer all..

    Still waiting for those two and Abby to apologize to Sharon for accusing her of the cabin murders. Funny after all this time none of them have even once said "sorry" to her. She is the only character that is expected to always apologize immediately to everybody and do it profusely.

    THIS!! I see so many always going on about Sharon not apologizing for her bi polar actions..yet, everyone can walk all over her, accuse her of the most heinous crimes..but those same moaners don't think she deserves any apologies..

    OK, I could have sworn that when Nick dropped Faith off at Sharon's for her sleepover Sharon said she would bring Faith back the next evening. So why all of a sudden was Nick supposed to take Faith to school in the morning? I guess Dick can at times be forgiven for forgetting he has a kid when the writers who are really the ones in charge of Faith's wellbeing can't remember from one day to the next where she is supposed to be.

     

     

    I can just imagine the howling by some if it was Sharon who forgot to pick uo Faith..but because it is Nick very little mention will be made about it..It is great to see Sharon coming to terms with the fact that Nick will always be an ass to her, no one should be faulted for loving someone as Sharon has Nick most of her life, it can't be easy to finally give up on that love, the heart wants what the heart wants after all..but I can see the gentleness of Dylan beginning to help heal Sharon's battered heart, her self esteem is coming back bit by bit and the job at CL will be great for her...Nick's world is going to explode and when it does, he will be wanting to cry on Sharon's shoulder..I think she will give him a cold one..

    I don't see Sharon acting any different around the men than she does the women. Sharon is usually pretty nice to everyone. The only time I see her be rude to anyone is when they barge into her house uninvited and get all up in her face and business and are asking for it. Sharon even then usually just takes it and doesn't say anything. I can't remember all the times she let Phyllis just attack her and walk all over her.It is so refreshing when she does come back at them and let them have it! I don't know why she should be any different than the other women on the show. They defend themselves and nothing is ever said about it so Sharon should be able to do the same.

     

    And as for the men, I haven't seen her beg any of them to save her and if they didn't want to be there for her then why don't they leave? She is not keeping them tied up. I believe Dylan was being a friend to her because at the time he knew she was being set up for a double homicide which he knew she didn't commit but I never saw her begging him or pretending to be helpless. I would think any person would be pretty traumatized if they were accused of a double murder. I see other women on the show getting help and support from men and I don't read anything about them being needy and needing someone to save them.Sharon is no different.JMHO

    It is precisely this that scared me about a Sharon-Dylan pairing. JFP's golden boy always has to be a saint, so he can't simply dump Avery for helping her ex. Sharon has to be the conniving woman who orchestrates it all. ugh. Why this show keeps on insisting a woman who LOOKS like that and has money and a brain needs to play these games to snare a man I will never know. 

     

    This....that is the $64,000.00 question....

    I didn't like what Sharon did today on the Canadian show..

     

    Sharon picks up Dylan's phone when it buzzes and reads a text from Avery:
    Sorry we quarreled. I miss you. Coming home.
    Sharon saying to herself, as though she is talking to Dylan who is out of the room..Now it’s my turn to help you.
    Avery then receives a text from Dylan...sent by Sharon..
    You made your choice. I made mine. Finish what you started. So will I.

     

     

    I am not impressed with Sharon for doing that........all charges have been dropped against her as well..

    Chuck Pratt's comment via the Michael Fairman interview:

    " And so I thought, “If ever there was an underdog … it’s Sharon!” We have one of the most beloved characters on the show, and the other characters treat her like dirt! I thought we have got to give Sharon a chance to get resurrected, and then make a lot of mistakes, because she can be very interesting when she has a bipolar episode. I have said she is one of those characters who plants the landmine, and then forgets where she put the map, and then steps on it."

     

    I believe it's safe to say that we can expect more of the disgusting,misogynist mental shaming writing for Sharon. Chuckie finds her "very interesting" when she has a bipolar episode. Sharon's long time fans?  Eh? not so much! 

    SC does such a good job of bringing it in whatever scene written for her character that I think CP wants to make use of that talent..by having SN bounce back and forth with her bi polar episodes, he is getting the very best from this actress, he gets the normal Sharon and then every now and then she forgets to take her meds and he gets the out of control Sharon, best of both worlds, if SC wasn't so good at playing it both ways, CP may not be so quick to write her having bi polar episodes...

    Canadian, where has your son been flying lately? I have an air traffic control app on my iPad, and I often listen to Toronto arrival ATC while I'm doing other things around the house. Whenever I see a "heavy" over my house, that's coming from Europe or Japan or wherever, I wonder if it's your boy! :D

    Sorry Capricasix, just seeing this now..Toronto is his home base and he is flying in and out of there to and from his various destinations, so no doubt some of those "heavy's" you see is him..:0)

    Nick's such an asshole, I hope the social worker is there when Nick storms in. I'm no fan of this murder rap being pinned on her, but she is looking good with Dylan supporting her by her side while Nick is still looking awful and others like Dylan and Michael see him for what he is.

     

    Sharon shouldn't be giving him the time of day.

    no, the social worker had already left....the look on Nick's face when he found out what Sharon did was priceless...

    don't know what happened with all those posts..I just hit quick reply and it just kept on going..;0)

    while Nick is meeting with the social worker, trying to convince her he is a stable Dad, and not doing very well, she gets a call from Michael asking her to come and speak with his client Sharon, the social worker repeats the address and Nick knows it is from Sharon...the social worker goes to Sharon's and Sharon convinces her to leave Faith in Nick's custody..Nick storms into Sharon's yelling at her and when Dylan and Michael tell him what Sharon has done..Nick stands there looking like the idiot he is..speechless for once in Sharon's presence..later he breaks up with Sage..
