I don't think that Spencer is applying logic to his plans for Ace. It's all feelings and his sense of loss in his own life

That would make him an even worse person to co-raise Ace. Spencer is not seeing him, as his own person, and his needs, which is to be with his mother, but a manifestation of his own issues.

Not for nothing, but Laura is Dikolas' mother. Where was her emotional support when this boy was growing up and being banished to boarding school so that his dad could move Random Woman 24 (like Molly 6, but different) into Wyndemere? Maybe she's learned something about

But Ace has a mother, who is very present for him. Esme is not younger Laura, who is loving now and can help Esme financially. True, many of the other characters need to avail themselves of Kevin's services, starting with Spencer, but it seems like everyone in their group is being as helpful as they can be.

So basically Spencer thinks single parents can't support financially or emotionally? He's such a better person to raise Ace because he has money and doesn't need to work?

I wondered about that too. So the support, financial and emotional, of Laura and Kevin, and everyone around them, as well as Esme will not exist for Ace, and Spencer would have the sole possession of the baby in a vast wasteland, void of all human feeling, except for him, who would provide all, as he describes? Delusion, thy name is Spencer. I would like to know what Ace would think of Spencer when he is older and finds out Spencer's diminishment, and I bet, eventual banishment of his mother.

Will there be comfortable seating and refreshments available on the barge?

  4. My how Spencer thinks the world should revolve around him, and all of his minions just there to do his bidding. Does he think he is so qualified to be Ace's surrogate REAL parent, since he has so many other children, and obviously thinks Esme isn't able to raise him? His arrogance boggles the mind, and I think Esme needs to take Ace away and take out a restraining order on Spencer.

So it appears that Anna's original suspicions might be the case. I have thought that Charlotte's actions were kid size mischief, and didn't think she burned the house. Obviously Charlotte couldn't have stolen the files as she didn't leave, but now questions! Why was she looking in the trunk? I think I missed something, as I thought Anna said that she brought the files on the mystery guy to Robert, and would have had them on her when she came back and saw Charlotte. If she left the files on the mystery guy, and he stole them, how did he get in before Charlotte, who had the keys? NO MORE Nina torture!

I like Nancy and don’t think women need to be put out to pasture because they aren’t young and skinny. Of course people like who they like but men are rarely forced into retirement the way women are. Carla and Duff are older than the average host too. Nancy liking booze is no different than when Mary Berry liked booze on the British Baking Show. Likely thought up by producers and played up much like Carla being quirky and Duff being grumpy.
I assume they all criticize various aspects and the show decides what to focus on; I do notice they often show Carla talking about taste, Duff talking about texture and bake level and Nancy talking about decorations but they probably all talk about everything.

I didn't read anything about not wanting to see Nancy on the show, or that she needs to be forced into retirement, because she isn't young and thin, and I certainly didn't say it. I dislike Nancy because I think she is obnoxious, and is obsessed with booze/holiday looks, and that opinion is okay to have. I don't watch the British Baking show but it is beside the point anyway. It seems like your post has a few "possiblys" and "likelys" but I have seen how Nancy acts for years.

Andrea the shady surrogate is Gregory Harrison's daughter.

    Who is Genie Francis' daughter?

Yeah the shady surrogate all right! I saw that Genie Francis' daughter Eliza was the woman who Cody was talking to, when he needed to see someone? I don't have yesterday's episode anymore and saw a pic today that she was Genie's daughter, so don't remember what the scene was. She had her hair in a ponytail.

I like the Adam character and sincerely hope he doesn't turn into a school shooter

To me he isn't a sympathetic character because he is insisting that Joss drop her life and help him in every way that he needs, which will never be enough. He is stalkerish. I think that since Joss finally put her foot down with him, that a suicide attempt is in the near future. It looks like the next generation is hitting GH, if Adam is Maurice B's son, and Nurse Janice is Gregory's daughter, I forgot his name, and Genie Francis' daughter was on yesterday I think.

That dress made the actress look like she was pregnant.

I thought the same. Also I wondered about just inserting Cody into the infomercial, without his prior knowledge...who does that? He would have to be offered the position, agree to a contract, etc.

  9. Bearing in mind that I have no knowledge of Molly history, I really do not like her, no matter who plays her. As soon as I saw her and Kristina together, I knew that she will blame Kristina for the miscarriage and hate her again for existing. There was never one logical reason for Molly to go off on Kristina about anything, in the first place. Also, when Alexis and Diane were commenting on them together, Alexis said that "Andrea was past the first trimester now," so therefore Molly can stop being the spawn of Satan to Kristina? I wish K would tell Molly and Alexis to go pound sand.

I really don't like Diane. She is a shark, and I wish she would leave Robert alone.

I am wondering if Hair and Wardrobe have big problems with making Maxie look good? Her hair, and Sasha's too, looks perpetually unwashed, and that orange dress was not flattering to Sasha, who is gorgeous. OMG, where did they dig up Morgan Fairchild? She seemed to barely be able to walk, and her face and eyes don't move at all. She could barely move her lips to talk.

I agree that I think Andrea is lying about the miscarriage, though I don't know why. Why would she go to a different hospital? Why did she have no records of her visit to show TJ? Why would she not call them when she started having problems? I also thought it was so weird that Molly allowed that she should work less to "make time for the baby." A child is not something you "make time" to raise.

I also felt really uncomfortable at her saying many times how hard her life was being a single mother. I get it- she probably had a bad breakup-- but making that be your "personality" on nationwide TV seems sad.

I know what you mean. I didn't like how she was talking about being a single mother and it was so haaaaaaaard... It looked like her kids were born back to back to back and having a bunch of kids is difficult for anyone, let alone a very young woman in an unstable marriage. I get that people's choices are their own but I don't like the whining about how hard it is, and didn't like it from her, like a sad sack, instead of trying to be positive about her skills.

  11. Javier was indeed on fire tonight. I didn't like that Justine won though. I thought her table setting wasn't that great.I know Alex was really struggling, but I actually do not know how Jennifer made it onto the show. None of her stuff has looked good, and last week and this, she goes on like she is having a nervous breakdown. I know the show is very difficult and has tons of pressure but she can't seem to handle it. She should have gone instead of Alex, a fellow Portlander, btw!

But, Anna lives in a doorman building (HAHA), and does he even know that Anna took over Maxie's apartment, since it JUST HAPPENED?  How did he get in the "secure" building?  How did he know which apartment to go to?  Why wasn't the doorman there first?  The stupidity, it hurts..

Not only that, and why the doorman wasn't there at all, all of which I thought of as well, but Anna had to tell Jake to turn the light on, therefore Anna couldn't have known it was Charlotte, in the dark, in that black robe. Plus he saw Charlotte lying next to the open trunk, where she was apparently looking for paper to leave the note about having Anna's keys, wouldn't we all?  which will show her fingerprints, the keys she also showed to Jake, saying they would get her everything she wanted. I wish everyone would get together and compare Charlotte's lies. I believe that Charlotte said that Anna knew who she was and intentionally tried to kill her.

I am close to getting back on the barge. The bad guys are taking over. Michael is abusing and controlling everyone he can, and Nina's tragic tear filled eyes are too sad to watch. Enough Nina torture! Spencer is not dealing in reality and is a danger to Esme and Ace.

I didn't think Chase was being self centered at all when he and Gregory were talking. He was just letting Gregory know that he wasn't alone in his pain and his fear, that they were all in it together.

That's what the "gift" of trauma does, though. I'm not entirely up on what's happening on the show right now, but Spencer's lousy childhood is informing his actions here. I don't think it can be disputed that Nikolas was a supremely terrible father, that he traumatized this kid over and over again for very little reason, and if he's not rational about how Ace will grow up, that's the Why of it.

I get that, but Spencer is not Ace's father. If he were, it would be good that he is aware of his emotional wounds and strive to ensure his child's life is better, but it's not his child. If he really cared about Ace, he would see that Esme is taking fine care of him. But he doesn't care at all about Esme, or the fact that she is a good mother. He only sees her as someone who is taking away HIS possession, that HE will never see again, because he might live three blocks away. It's all about Spencer, and control, not about Ace.

I agree CeChase. I see Spencer as a young man who has been through many horrible upheavals in his life. No mother , a father who disappears, boarding school etc. He is determined to give Ace a better life than he had which is why he goes over the top is his actions. He is trying to protect his little brother from the same kind of heartache that he has been living through.

That may be what Spencer went through but that has nothing to do with Ace. It is not his place to give Ace anything or have any control over his life or his mother. Ace is being cared for just fine. It is not being rational to project one's own life onto others. He has also passed "over the top" into psycho territory.

He thought that he saw Charlotte head that way. Then he would have heard to gunshot and followed it.

Laura knew for a few days that Charlotte had trashed Anna's apartment. She had plenty of time to tell Anna that Charlotte was stalking h but chose not to.

He saw a kid in the tarot robe but IMO no one seemed to know who it was exactly. Yes Laura knew that, but as I said, I doubt Anna would have believed her. She didn't believe Valentin, until he said he had video proof.

I also saw that Monday's previews was a repeat from the other day. Not sure why.

Spencer is acting as if Esmé were moving Ace to New Zealand or something. The new apartment is probably three blocks away from Laura and Kevin's. FFS

And OMG, will the horrors never cease? Spencer would actually have to get permission from the baby's mother, like a VISITOR 😠 before traveling those three whole blocks! Had two great smackdowns today, Anna to Valentin and Trina to Spencer. "No you will not go for shared custody. You are not his father!" I personally think that Spencer is perfectly capable of abducting Ace. He doesn't love him, he is obsessed with controlling him and Esme.

Unless I missed something, didn't Laura just recently find out what Charlotte had been up to? Not sure why people are blaming her. What could she have done, even if she had known longer? She had no proof. Anna wouldn't believe her. Charlotte would deny it. I am still not clear as to how Liz's son showed up at Anna's apartment, and Liz needs to shut her yap about something she knows nothing about.

All the Neddie/Olivia stuff was cringe, they had been drowning for days, but I loved those towels!

  17. Indeed Eddie should have drowned by now and Olivia too. I wonder how Felicia would make that out to be her fault. That came out of nowhere and was completely illogical. Yeah Charlotte's going to go on lying and no one will do anything to stop her. Anna will go on crying and no one will do anything to help her. Spencer will go on being a jerk and I hope Esme takes the baby to Iceland! Also, how extremely annoying was Maxie, telling the photographer to do this and don't do that?

  18. Olivia and Eddie both seem to have lungs of steel, since they both have been underwater for quite some time. Also, as said, how could anyone be found in a lake at night?

I loathe Charlotte, the little lying psychopath, and I loathe Spencer more. Laura needs to realize the depth of his obsession with Ace and Esme. Don't know who he thinks he is to tell Esme anything about where she can live or anything. I hope Laura has a hard come to Jesus meeting with him soon, and not treat him like he is made of glass. I loved Esme's standing up to him.

  19. I so like seeing Sasha well and happy, and I get that she wanted Maxie and Brook Lynn to make up, but she was wrong about Brook Lynn's making only a "bad choice." Not being honest with Chase in the first place was a bad choice. What she did at Deception was corporate theft, which is a crime, and it was her choice to commit it, Tracy or no Tracy. No one reported it. I can't imagine how anyone would think that it would be okay for someone first stealing company information would then control the company, or that it would all look aboveboard, including for the other owners?

I don't know how far out taping schedules go, but JZ passed away months ago. It doesn't make sense that Bobbie would be in Amsterdam at all, I doubt Tracy would need her help to settle her husband's affairs, and since Bobbie lived in PC, it would make sense that she would pass there.

God only knows what the rigmarole with Eddie and the pool and the siren is about. Is Olivia going to save Eddie from drowning and when he comes to he will be Ned again? Why was there someone with long black hair in the pool?

Will Charlotte actually tell the truth tomorrow? These and many other questions will probably not be answered.
