Ok this one really bothers me but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else:
When Rogelio and Xo move in together for the first time, he is hesitant to say 'I love you' to her because he's only said it to his mom and I think one other person.
But, later in the third season when they get back together and in a flashback of them on the beach they talk about how they said 'I love you' to each other when they first dated as teens!
Literally there's such a huge part of the earlier episode about Xo trying to signal to Rogelio she wants him to say it and him saying he's not sure he can, but then they casually undermine that later by showing they said it to each other as teenagers. Bothers me every time I watch it
