Just did a Rally Day tour of AT&T Stadium before tomorrow’s game and got to meet Kelsey and Darian. They are even prettier than imaginable and we know they are pretty women. Wow! Definitely looking forward to seeing Kelcey as point in person now.
I will take lots of sideline, quarter change and performance video and share the links here afterwards for anyone interested. There’s some sort of pink halftime performance that reminds me perhaps of the Season 7 halftime?

My sentiments also. Gina has been a great DCC, amongst the best. She has pretty well done it all. 5 years on show group, 2nd GL, GL, VOTY and Point. All the more remarkable when remembering that she came back from a torn ACL in her third year. Her audition solos were always bomb. I will miss her EXTRA!
One more here! Part of the reason I went to the wildcard game in January (had missed regular season games and had to go through an ice storm in Atlanta, where I was one of the only flights that could get out luckily!) was because I wanted to see Gina perform once more in case she retired. Love her pop and energy and will miss seeing her extra “San Diego spunk” on the squad.

It’s a great group! I wish I could have had a closer seat to get better views of the girls but you can tell they are for the most part insanely talented.

A few caveats:
- I thought I filmed the Miller Lite Plaza performance find out afterwards that I took a picture only. DOH.
- I’m not a filmographer, so sorry about the weird angles or shaky shots.
- I kept reminding myself mid-recording to be present and watch on the 60-yd screen or in person, but that may cause the camera angle to go awry for moments.
- All videos are unlisted for now bc it’s my personal YT account…if you need it differently, let me know.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why the countdown clips feature so many girls who were cut from training camp. And they are often the first ones featured too! It makes no sense. Cute concept but I keep getting distracted by the girls who never made the squad.

While I’m still captain of the “Amber is absolutely boring and forgettable” club, this was a good DCC in Motion. I think I’m biased because I could see Hannah’s signature moves all over the choreo 🥺

What was the timeline from when they found out they were going to training camp to actually having to be in Texas? I’m wondering if they were able to bond learning dances or generally knowing they had this opportunity coming up.

I, too, loved Amelia. She’s absolutely beautiful and as said above, if this was a normal training camp with as much time as the girls typically have, she totally would have made this team. I really do hope she comes back next year.
I think Sydney is a pretty girl although something about her is almost baby doll-ish, but in a strange plastic away. Maybe it’s the impossibly silky wig or the way she carries herself? I can’t quite put my finger on it. Anyhoo, the girl has an ASS! I wish they had shown her uniform fitting as I believe this is the first time they’ve had a TCC shaped like her. I know Lisa had to work overtime on fitting her shorts 😂. But seriously, would have loved to see what K had to say.
Evan seems like he has the best spirit and energy. 🤍

The Process: Auditions, Training Camp and Squad
in Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team
To be honest, Jayln’s group’s sidelines were a bit of a hot mess. Kat and Ashlinn messed up several times, there seemed to be confusion on placement changes for water breaks and the leaders were slower to call a song than the other groups seemed to be.
Two other takeaways from that group: Lea has a sophisticated confidence about her that draws your eye, and I watched Victoria a lot. She gives it her all and really seems to enjoy every second.
YES. The diagonals in specific were very sloppy.
