  1. Not going to miss Bill and Ted, peeved that they took a spot away from people who would have really tried and wanted to be there instead of enjoying a laid back and mellow trip at the networks expense. Though I did respect the bird appreciation.

    So much screaming again.

I'd be challenged on a steep path without something to hang on to, and all those stairs, hard pass.

There seems to be far fewer people posting since the live chat threads began. Also, the live chat threads used to lock at the end of the episode, but now people are continuing to post on them many hours or days later. The net result is there is not much going on on the main threads.

This. I don't get to see the show live  (geography and time zones) so I miss all the live thread chat but I have really noticed the drop in comments here.

  3. Phil attempting a sign for express pass looked so much like Cartman doing the hands for screw you guys I'm going home that it cracked me up for way longer than it should have.

AL appears to have taken a chill pill but I'm so tired of hearing her say come on dad, hurry up dad etc. I also agree that her temperament correlates to her race position.

  4. AL strikes me as the kind of person that would describe herself as a "pocket rocket" but is in reality annoyingly pushy, falling on the wrong side of the assertive/aggressive divide.

Mailaina annoys me no end, as does the "out of towners" screaming. Andrea seems lovely though.

Going to be interesting to see if there is any explanation regarding the notification of failure to complete at the detour.

    Loved the camels.

  5. I get serious 'on the spectrum' vibes from Emily so I'm wondering if she'll be flexible enough socially.

How many attorneys are there? Feels like at least 30.

Astrology girl pissed me off the moment she first spoke so we'll see how that goes.

3 personalities in 1 guy is annoying, so is Hong Kong Fooey.

Caleb is light on his feet, he sprang over the goods on the boat at the start.

  6. I'm just catching up on this now, interesting to see one in my home country. No big predators at all to worry about.  I've been to tassie a few times myself.  No survival experts is interesting,  initially I said that in Tasmania they could last for many months but the people I've seen so far seem unlikely to do so.

The identifying marks are part of the game - it's how one player signals to the others that this is his/her vote.

And if you used cards, then the voters could look at how many were left and figure out how the people before them had voted.

There's nothing really wrong with spelling mistakes, and I can only remember one time when Probst couldn't figure out who the vote was for (Ghandia in Thailand was the "Denver Diva")

That's why I think it would be good to cut out the identifying marks, makes playing that little bit harder.

Numbers can be avoided by having a gazillion of each name or by having a self replenishing system that slides a new name token forward when one is used, like in shops.

  8. I'd really like to see voting done by choosing a card or something that is pre-printed with the names so that we avoid all the spelling issues and the identifying marks like hearts, smiley faces and cutesy tags.
