Well now he ‘thinks’ he loves her, oh wait, he does now. Is this the first time he’s telling her this. Sounds like it. They’ve been married six months.

He probably felt compelled to say it because of the setting. They just might be another Karen and Miles situation where we don't know the nuance of the relationship 🤷🏾‍♀️

Well, they had initial attraction at least. He's stuck in a marriage with someone who is not attracted to him & that's odd, of course, so I think that's what he was saying. But the whole thing marrying someone sight unseen is odd.

I know you've been clear you feel he's creepy but I don't get those vibes off him at all - just our opinions.

    *ding ding* 😉

If we're being honest with this whole situation, Haley is being a nice version of Chris.

He's self-assured in himself and was being polite to not be as blunt as he was tonight with Haley. He was trying to ride this out when he realized the marriage wasn't going to work out.

Does anyone else feel like this show is dragging tonight. I’m tired and it’s not giving me an enthusiasm to stay up and watch. I am because I like snarking with y’all.

I thinking it's because most of the matches are a disappointment this year 🤷🏾‍♀️

  4. I have a feeling that he either is gaslighting her or asking her to sleep with him whenever they're not on camera. It could be self-preservation for her to only interact with him when cameras are around. He's done so much shady stuff with not talking to her in front of production. I'm so disappointed in this show this season.

Nope it's just people have opinions. I happen to feel differently than you. Doesn't say anything about me.

    I never said you.

Chris really worked hard try to find multiple ways to communicate that he thinks Paige is ugly. She implied as much in the sit down with the ex-fiance. He was so pouty when he realized that they weren't going to cat fight over him, lol.

No I'm saying I think his Ex is more attractive. I don't think Paige is ugly. But, I can also see why, in the mind Chris thinking Paige is not on the level of his Ex. Just talking physically. As a person all around I don't know. I don't know the ex like that. Honestly, I don't feel like I know Paige that much. Her whole marriage has been about Chris drama. Not really about her.

ETA personal anecdote. I was watching the episode with a group of people at work during break time. One guy would not stop talking about how unattractive he thought Paige was. Then he saw the Ex was like damn, he went from that to that. I see why he wasn't attracted to Paige. Everyone else agreed with the guy. Men and Women. One guy said Paige looked better. But, after a few minutes, he was no you guys are right. The ex does look better. It made us all laugh.

They're the same level of attractiveness. Paige has more afrocentric features but that does not make her less attractive than the baby mama. That's just social conditioning to make that consideration. Chris clearly has multiple issues to work out for himself; that's just one for him to add to his list.

I hope next week is last we see of him. He does so many outrageous and disrespectful things and no one's really calling him out on it in the way he needs to be.

I see Paige so differently than a lot of people.  She went into that meeting with Chris and  Mercedes on a mission to blow his spot up.   The calm demeanor and smiling was because she was being very deliberate to let Mercedes know exactly what Chris had done and said while letting her know she wasn’t bothered by her at all.  Chris was hoping for drama and for the ladies to fight over him.   Kudos to both for not giving him the satisfaction.

If you listen to Paige on all of her unfiltered appearances it’s pretty obvious she’s been done with  Chris even though she is edited differently on the show.

100% agree she had strong passive aggressive energy lol

So Chris wanted to stop talking but intentionally waited until they were in the van to bring it up again. That was admittedly premeditated.

Okay so Chris is trash, but I have to agree with his point ( to a degree). Eric and Virginia were slushed up most of their honeymoon and they were definitely doing a poke-the-bear as a result.  This does not ultimately help Paige (which is Virginia and Clara's rationale).  I do not understand why Virginia (and Eric) were putting themselves in the situation so much. This whole Chris and baby mama reveal has ruined the dynamic of this season of MAFS. In order to get any type of screen time,  you have to be in his storyline.

So clearly Erik and Virginia have had a lot to drink and have no idea what they’ve walked into.  Shut up!

Honestly I can't be too mad at them; it's day three of them being married and it's supposed to be a happy time. This whole pregnancy situation is a very unusual scenario to be in. Everybody's supposed to be on cloud nine🤷🏾‍♀️

Haley has to chill. Let go and go with the flow.  If anything, she should banter back with him .  I thought she would fall on the floor when he ate the onion.  She’s there, so try and have a good time.  She looks soooo uncomfortable.

I agree! I feel like he has a very dry sense of humor and it goes over her head at times. He was being silly and goofy with the onions; that's an important side to have in a partner.

  11. Oh okay so Chris is a proper psychopath. How are you going to fake cry and then immediately flip into confrontational mode about being embarrassed. I'm normally a peaceful person but someone *really* needs to fight Chris.

Viewers getting annoyed.  Production squeezing everything they could to keep us watching.  Practically every scene is shown too many times.  Excited for tonight’s show.  Haley didn’t even want to give Jake a friendly smooch in bed.  She looked petrified.

It looks like Haley and Ryan aren't feeling their spouses based on the morning wake up.

That all Chris' questions were sex related should have been a huge red flag to Paige.  I can't believe her friends just stood there and allowed Chris to talk like that about her. "She is the complete opposite of the women I normally date; they look like trophy wives."  "She is what I need, not what I want."  I was hoping one of them would call him out and put him in his place.

I think Eric should have been matched with Haley; Jacob should have been paired with someone new and Virginia shouldn't have been picked for the experiment.

No one was looking out or standing up for Paige and to be honest I needed her to stand up for herself a little bit as well. I don't know how I feel about how folks are using religion to justify staying in a terrible marriage.

I wonder if the experts think that Haley is going to bring Jake out of his shell.

I hate this rationale of matching opposites thinking that they will be attracted to each other. This is rarely true in real life.

Haley is really trying. Jake acts like he's never even been on a date.

    Where is the curiosity?!

When she spoke about getting certified in skydiving (!), His response was so low-key and energetic. I can't tell if he's intimidated by her or if he's just not happy about the situation.

  18. That couple that seems to want to get pregnant immediately is very concerning. Have they watched previous seasons? I'm afraid that they won't take the time to get to know each other, with marrying a stranger on national TV, and now want to add a baby to an already stressful process. Yikes.

I didn't think it was fair for the group to dump on Brett since he wasn't there.   If Brett had been there, at least he could have had an opportunity to apologize for hitting on Henry's friend since he brought it up.  And ChristinA definitely had some nerve talking about someone else's behavior.  It was a dump fest and it gave Olivia a chance to just sit there and look victimized.

At least ChristinA's getting roasted now.

Did not like that one bit. The same thing happened at the last group science in the wrap up. Brett is not perfect but it feels like they made him the villian of the season.

Not a mistake to try when you don't have a reason to try there's nothing that horrible and plenty potential..

There's no reason to start right now in case they're on the purposes of turning everything around. They can always get a divorce. In two weeks they can say let's get a divorce but they might as well try to see what the relationship is when it's not being examined on TV. I've been saying that Karen really fears the judgment of her parents and her church. I don't think she would want them to clearly now because the TV would ask them are you having sex and then she have to say yes. And I think in private she can be doing it and then let people gradually understand that.

Honestly, Decision Day is everyday, not just this day.
