Does the characters in the Nixon falls story live above the bar? They're never in a house. Why don't we see another store or something as part of Nixon falls? Where are the other residents? Such a strange story on the show

the writers could have just had sonny in a coma or in prison to send him out of port Charles for a while. I agree the scenes set in Nixon falls feel like they don't belong on the show.
If sonny can take the time to investigate that guy why isn't he taking the time to find out who he is?
