  1. Their website says "America's only all female quintuplets" and even though it's a fact, it's very strange to see it on a family website. Like it's a product being presented. Reminds me of the packaging and branding on some popular food items.
  2. The twins were adorable in this episode. The dude ranch was a lovely way of celebrating as a family, I enjoyed the kids interacting with the animals. Things I'm over: Parker's blank stares and freaking out if someone so much as asks her a question. She seems to be just fine a lot of the time when everyone is just joking around but as soon as she needs attention it's tears and a red face. Adam overcompensating with her and not paying attention to the other kids is annoying too. Adam praising Hazel for riding a horse because she's been through so much with her eyes but Riley is moving up a whole grade because she's brilliant and he doesn't want to celebrate her accomplishment, he treats it like it's the worst thing in the world because he's worried the sisters won't all be treated the same. His favoritism is so obvious. No wonder Riley acts up, it's the only way to stand out. Danielle whining about her cadi fitness business to promote the juice out of it (the clothes look cheap and cost more than high end fitness brands). She's just looking for something to do. I enjoy watching because the kids are cute but every episode seems more and more scripted (why are they still talking so much about the house situation when they've bought it way before this ranch episode filmed). It's starting to seem like branding of a family. I remember how things changed quickly with the Gosselins and I'm not saying this family is anything like them, however, the more the spotlight and money grow, everyone is going to want a piece of the cake and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a sudden fallout with Kiki and Dale because they didn't get paid enough or Mimi starts to go to the press. Hopefully this never happens and they keep level headed but I can't help notice how much this show is becoming more about the ratings and sponsorships.
  3. That part made me cringe. And Riley ran over with the pizza box saying "we have pizza!" which makes me wonder like others if the girls are being told what to say. Another problem I have is that Riley had a meltdown and she's just brushed off like the "bad one", Adam acted like he was over her. If it had been Hazel or Parker throwing a fit, he'd be coddling them in seconds.
  4. I don't want to judge but sometimes they do things that are so contradicting. They know a couple of the kids are anxious and they do that whole scary easter bunny thing and laugh when they're all freaking out in tears. They are putting them on a constant spotlight not only referring to the show but in general family dynamics it's always about the quints, that has to be a lot of pressure and kids do rebel when they're under too much expectation. They clearly did a great job with Blayke, she's very well behaved and thoughtful and they've showed footage of Blayke as a baby being super sweet and all the family always mention how good she was so I'm guessing the fact that it's 5 more is just too much to handle most of the times PLUS anytime there are tons of kids constantly together, they do amp each other up. I do notice Danielle's mom Mimi can be very resentful/mean towards her and seems like an emotionally manipulative person so maybe Danielle just wants to do the opposite and be more loving to her own kids. Also, Adam does seem very concerned for the girls well being. They are a sweet bunch but man can they throw tantrums and Parker really seems to have an issue beyond being shy. It's kind of annoying sometimes. On the other hand, another famous TLC mom of 8 was overly strict with her kids and now they have all kinds of issues so again, trying not to judge.
