And what about "episodes" in a different country.  Uh what "episodes"

Seriously!  And if she even thinks about snorkeling or doing any such water sports, we will know that these episodes are completely made up and controlled by her whim.

“Freaking bad ass” “rockstar” is so typical of Tori

I bet he “slammed” his first meal and “owned” the hospital too!

She sounds like an moron. 🙄

Did anyone catch the Super Bowl commercial about calling people a "rock star" with all the actual rock stars?  It was for some HR software or something.  I immediately thought of Tori 😂

  3. I had epilepsy following a head injury (thankfully, now resolved).  Carlin is playing with fire if she is on medicines she does not need.  If she plans on having more children, she better be miraculously healed or reconsider.

I have no doubt in my mind that they are not scheduling the 5 day EEG because they know the jig is up and it will either be "inconclusive" again due to no activity or if she has an "episode", it will not show seizure activity.

To be honest, I'm a bit surprised that she is on seizure meds (I'm assuming that's what she is on) without EEG evidence.

"danced point... a time or two" Of course she has to get that in. 🙄

He was confused by Nutcracker??  The storyline is pretty straightforward.  I'm so sure he was paying attention.

Then perhaps Audrey should know that it's spelled "pointe" not point.  And surely, if she danced en pointe, there would be a picture provided for proof.  I'm skeptical...

QUESTION:  Is Lilah's hair intentionally kept at that length or has it not grown any longer??? I believe she's almost 3 and was asking because I don't know if this is uncommon.

She will be 3 in November.  I only remember bc she's the same age as my grandson.  It's her lack of any intelligible language that is concerning to me.

  6. I realize all children are different, but I have a grandson similarly aged to Layla.  He has not been in a high chair in at least 18 months.  Just because she is small does not mean that she is still an infant.  I would say to let her sit at the table with the rest of the family (in a booster), but that's a joke.  The family probably doesn't sit all together to eat a meal.

I wasn’t aware that WWT was living in the AL.  If so, I suppose we’ll see why on the show.  I wonder if it’s cause Babs needs so much care around the clock.  When my cousin needed so much care, I was informed that we’d need to hire an around the clock person to be with her or move to a place with a higher level of care.  If you pay for around the clock, one on one personal care, it’s extremely expensive.

I understand that, but if Bab's needed that kind of round the clock care, plus having Whitney nearby (which, we all agree can't be all that helpful), why wouldn't they bring a hospital bed into their home, and have aids come there rather than spend the exorbitant amount that that Assisted Living facility must cost?  I don't get it.

I watched the excerpt on Instagram and I’ve seen at least 2 other episodes they’ve posted.  In all cases, I must say Carlin has the cleanest,  neatest, ‘prettiest’ seizures I’ve ever seen.  Part of the reason I don’t think they’re typical and may not be seizures at all.

First, she seems to be having a generalized tonic-clonic episode, what we used to call grand mal seizures. She is seemingly unresponsive/unaware of her surroundings. She is having generalized flexion/extension movements.  Yet, she never seems to hit anything, never ends up bruised and battered.  People having tonic/clinic seizures on asphalt usually end up with scrapes and bruises on their arms and legs, on their face or head. Carlin never does, other than her reported concussion.  The first thing any bystander witnessing a seizure should do is move obstacles out of the patient’s way and pad any hard surfaces to protect them from injury.  Other than someone putting something under her head at one point, no one seem to do that for Carlin, yet she never injured herself.   Surely if she had scrapes and bruises, we’d have seen them.

The seizures themselves seem to be less violent than what I’ve seen. Carlin lies on the ground shaking for up to 20 minutes, yet her hair never gets in her face, never gets tangled. In the last video, she is shown with her hands/arms over her lower abdomen jerking repeatedly, yet her clothes are never mussed, her hands never touch her shirt let alone pull it up. Most people having tonic clinic seizures are a disheveled mess by the end, their hair in knots, their clothing askew, often torn and dirty. Not Carlin.

Finally, part of the tonic clonic seizure involves the jaw/mouth And the person clenches/unclenches their jaw repeatedly. They will often bite their tongue, cheek or lip and draw blood. They also tend to not swallow, so saliva builds up and dribbles out their mouth- ‘frothing’ at the mouth so to speak.  No bloody saliva from Carlin though.  Also, the repeated seizures tend to disrupt normal breathing patterns and the patient will turn a dusky color, lips blue, especially if the event lasts as long as Carlin’s do.

I’m not an expert, but Carlin’s seizures are much less ‘aggressive’ than the usual IMO.

I used to have a seizure disorder (thankfully I have not had a seizure in 20 years.  The onset was a head injury).  I broke my wrist once falling during a seizure, I have urinated on myself almost every time, and bit my tongue so hard that it was cut a quarter of the way through.  There was nothing pretty about these.

I'm thinking hearing difficulties as well. She does talk a little and she actually does engage- I really don't think autism is in play.

Speaking personally I didn't speak clearly until I was almost four because of constant ear infections. Then I had ear tubes put in and my parents said it was like coming home with a different child.

Our grandson was born 3 days after Lilah and has been going to speech therapy for 6 months or so.  There wasn't a particular reason for his delay, except he is a COVID kid and never in daycare, so he didn't have as much opportunity to be around lots of spoken word.  The difference speech therapy has made is remarkable!  I sure hope they consider it for Lilah.

I'm sorry, I did not mean to offend.  My remarks were intended specifically to Carlin and her situation and my impression of her based on what I've seen on TV and social media.  She seems to be a very high strung (my mom loved that phrase) person who tends to be easily unnerved.  She also seems to be someone who enjoys being the center of attention.  There is no doubt that there is a mind-body connection in all illnesses and some people are simply wired to cope while others are not.  Carlin does not seem to me to have very good coping skills in general and I think she is therefore likely to jump to the worst case scenario, panic, and go to the ER in situations where others would not.  That doesn't mean something isn't wrong with her.  It does, however, mean that she is perhaps going to have a longer path to getting the help she needs as it seems pretty clear that whatever is going on with her is outside of the ER's purview.  This is why people need a regular personal physician, IMO, someone who can guide them, who knows them, who can help them get appointments with specialists in more timely fashion.  Carlin also needs to stop putting all this stuff up on social media because it seems that the comments she gets are only going to fuel her anxiety about the whole thing which will only exacerbate the problems she is having.

I don't have a problem with Carlin's speculation that she might be having seizures.  She's not a medical person and it seems like, when she has her episodes, she does some things that might indicate a seizure.  Since the ER hasn't kept her and she hasn't been placed on anti-seizure meds, I think the ER staff doesn't think that that's what'shappening here.

I used to have seizures following a head injury and did have to go via ambulance several times to the ER, prior to my diagnosis.  Even if she was given anti-seizure meds in the ambulance, she would be so exhausted (post-ictal stage) from the seizures and from the meds (they all have a sedating effect) that she would not look that good at any point during her ER stay.  If these were actual seizures, the ER staff would have absolutely retained her in the hospital to try to get to the bottom of what was going on.  Something just doesn't add up

Jason's TikTok has a video captioned "First ultrasound" with them going in and showing images of the scans. I think the post was dated January 2021. I saw that yesterday and it surprised me because these shows always use these ultrasound visits as filler. Maybe they were not filming yet? I never know the dates of filming on any of these types of shows.

They could have gone to a boutique ultrasound place instead of a regular doctor.

According to Auj the kids were up at 4:30am and then they dragged them out for breakfast, then to the beach, back to the hotel pool area to swim and socialize, out to lunch, back to the hotel where Auj had flowers put in their hair then out to dinner and back to the hotel…. She’s only 4 yrs old and that’s a LOT of activity… poor kid looks exhausted.

Plus, maybe, just maybe, the best sunscreen known to man...you know the one made by some company she "works" for?...well, it looks like maybe it didn't do a completely adequate job.

  13. There was a story on Adam's Instagram where Hazel is leaving for school and her backpack is very full.  Adam chides her in front of the other kids, asking her why her backpack is so puffy.  You can see the embarrassment in the poor girl's face.  She tries to sneak away, but he stops her and unzips her backpack.  Hazel had shoved several stuffed animals in there that she was trying to take to school.  Top notch parenting there to not only embarrass your child in front of your other children, but then to post it on social media.  These children are not surviving childhood unscathed.

On her way home?  The concierge lounge?  Of course she's a celebrity, so that's where she would go. 🙄 I wonder if any autograph seekers have found her.

Well there is 1 reason …. Cause she is an idiot 😂. I’ll show myself out

Our three had tongue ties also and all had a very quick clip (now I assume it  might be even easier...this was     22-29 year ago).  It did cause problems with latching and very painful nipples, but how this can cause mastitis is beyond me.  Also, how she gets mastitis and then recovers so quickly is ridiculous as well.  It's all drama.

Of course she had to have a rare birthing occurrence that she can’t wait to share it with us.  My mother , a postpartum RN used to call them women’s  war stories.

Is there a reason the father needs to be bare chested during this birthing? ( hoping it’s just bare chest)  I’m so tired of seeing pregnant belly’s I could scream.  One she had her pants pulled down to her pubes, why is that ok?
I’m with another poster missing the days of tops that gathered under your breasts and covered your belly. Smocked or Empire think it was called.  Maternity clothes in my child bearing days were ugly and sparse so I made mine. there’s gotta be a happy medium.

Color me  shocked that they used Amy’s maiden name, oh wait assuring their name on grandpa’s  will.
For some  reason my DVR didn’t automatically record so have to wait for re-run in the morning.  I’m just taking wild guess that the grooms crying is stress and relief and happiness+ age .

She said the baby was born en caul....so inside the unbroken amniotic sac.  And, yes, of course, it's very rare.  She's a medical miracle, don't you know.

That is just cruel. I'm Team Cat too but wow - that's just not nice to that poor poodle. Also, can you return Halloween costumes for pets or did she buy a ton of them just to try them on the dog once?

I don't know when I've seen a dog look more sad that wasn't in one of those  ASPCA commercials.

But Danielle had to comment "THAT'S what happens when they pick their own clothes.  So funny."  I'm confused about what is wrong with the outfits they chose.  They seem perfectly appropriate to me.

I checked out PatPat. Spurge is wearing "trendy" jeans. Fortunately the waste is elastic. The clothes all seem to be under $15. Probably similar to what is sold in Walmart.

PatPat gets terrible reviews on complaintsboard.com and similar sites.  There are complaints on everything from the sizing being off to poor quality to shipping taking forever.  They are scraping the bottom of the barrel to partner with this terrible company.
