    From Mark's wikipedia page, which sums up the situation nicely:

    Mark and Elizabeth begin a more serious relationship and move in together. Mark later buys a house, and he and Elizabeth get married and have a daughter, Ella. Their happiness is threatened, though, when the abusive father of a patient goes on a killing rampage after losing his son to social workers. In a bid to get his son back, he kills and injures a number of people and attempts to go after Elizabeth and Ella. After being shot by an armed bystander, he is brought to the ER. During his treatment, Mark takes him aboard an elevator to go to an operating room. The patient goes into arrest when alone in the elevator with Mark, who withholds defibrillation and allows him to go into vfib and die. He later falsifies records to show that he did attempt to save the patient. Elizabeth suspects what Mark did but lets the matter drop.

    I think in the elevator, before he went into arrest, the guy also threatened to go after Elizabeth and Ella.

    Whoa.  Let's talk about the 'source' of the information that Carole's reactions consisted of 'moping, crying, histrionics, and inability to get out of bed'.  This was relayed by the The Great Exaggerator, Beth.  So, IMO, Carole's reaction to the election results were probably were half, maybe even one quarter of what Beth describes. 

    Heck, there were millions of people who were upset with this election and continue to be upset with this election.  We're all going to be affected whether we are affluent or not.  It's not just about healthcare or taxes.  It's about women.  It's about the ideology of a President and a disregard for the Constitution and what that 'is'.  It was damn scary then and it's even more scary now.  Carole, IMO, had a lot to be upset about but I  have doubts it was to extent that the women who says she was raised by wolves, bled 'all' over NYC, was 'tortured' in her divorce and has gone through hell says it was. 

    Sorry, if I got too political.  I get Carole being upset and had to go into this election to explain why.

    I love how we're getting ironic SJW style posts about her not having a right to be upset about this election. I have a feeling had the opposite happened, had she been flip and saying she was above the election and why should she care about it, she'd be getting criticized on here for not caring, due to her being an affluent white women insulated blah blah blah.

    Do these women really make money for Bravo besides their spin-offs? I wasn't aware Bravo was getting a percentage of Skinny Girl profits, or from Teresa's cookbooks, Gigi's modeling gigs, etc. And in some of these cases, as big as these women are, these women need Bravo as much as much Barvo needs them.

    By that logic, any HW who isn't in that select spin-off club is a complete failure.

    Also, Kyle has her feuds and huge fights with some of her cast-mates (Camille during season 1, Brandi during season 5, among others).

    Wasn't the rough third season idea posted about Dorinda too on one of the NYC threads? In any case, the third season wasn't too rough for LVP or Kyle, and Eileen and Rinna seemed to have survived their third seasons in tact as well. I don't really see any of the HWs going after Ericka's characterizations of single parenting; people on here seem to care about it much more than the rest of the HWs do.

    Money's worth? She was involved in one of the biggest plots of the season that people offline kept discussing and discussing, and is popular with the viewing audience. I'd say they got their money's worth.
