What are our thoughts on the psychologist? He seems a bit dodgy to me.

Wow. I didn't think she was that big! Or maybe this is just the extremely unattractive swimsuit making her look chunky?
It is horrendous bathing attire.

In one of Jeremy’s stories today, he showed Amy sitting on the ground playing with Ember. As he walked up to them, he asked Ember if she was playing with “Grandma Amy.” What’s up with that? Is it normal to refer to your kid’s actual, biological grandmother (not to mention your own parent) by name? Why not just Grandma? God, I hope they don’t call Caryn “Grandma Caryn.” Ugh.
I’m Italian and it’s the same for us- Nonna Firstname, Nonno Firstname. We also say first names for Aunty and Uncle. However, we were never allowed to refer to anyone as Mr or Mrs as it was a sign of disrespect and excluded them from the family. Everyone was an Aunty or Uncle. This tends to get some people’s back up especially if they don’t understand the cultural significance behind it.

Did anyone notice when Matt and Caryn were in one of their talking heads, Matt was talking about Caryn telling him when things weren't a good idea and he said something like, "She always gets her way." That's the first time I've ever seen him be kind of snarky about her. There's that saying that familiarity breeds contempt... I also think that the more Amy stands up for herself, the more he'll try to make her a villain because his old ways to control and dominate her in order to get his way are simply not working.
This is probably the first time in any relationship that Matt has had someone stand up to him. So he says that she gets her way. When really, it’s just not Matt’s way. I am intrigued as to how the Matt/Caryn relationship will work out because Caryn comes across as a passive-aggressive narcissist. Two peas in a pod, maybe?

Is Chris just a super shy person or does anyone else get a weird vibe? I just feel that he isn’t being genuine .

I can’t find it now, it may have been in a reply on her Instagram. I believe she said she graduates this month.
That’s great news. I’m genuinely happy for her 😊

Another grifter looking for an easy way to make money. What happened to her college education and a real job? Oh, wait, she's a Brown.
Wasn’t she studying education? Did she end up completing her degree?

No.... unfortunately, all of the studies were saved on my now-defunct laptop.
Because your post didn't make clear the parts of my post you're asking for the studies to confirm, here are some suggestions. Google:
all human embryos female
human gestation genitalia development
human gestation sexual differentiation of the brain
human gestation role of SRY gene in XY
All of these suggestions should yield results which include links to studies addressing your questions.
Edited to add:
When I was scrolling up to read my post you enquired about, I saw that you had participated in the discussion about "female brains" vs "male brains" and what that means. I happened across another discussion about this concept elsewhere online, and someone commented:
"Without looking at or touching your privates, do you know what your gender is? How?"
Something to think about, eh?
Thanks for the search suggestions. I’ll keep digging! That quote is interesting because I don’t personally identify with a gender, I have a sex. When I was pregnant I did so much research on embryos and the growth process, so I find the whole concept of early development fascinating. It also helps that I have a degree in my field of passion. Thanks again for your response. I appreciate people who look at forums when the show is in hiatus 😂

Note: A lot of what I wrote at the beginning of the post is material I've learned from the many peer-reviewed, scientific studies published in mainstream scientific journals I've researched over the years. Normally I would have provided links to the studies in the post, but they're bookmarked/saved on my laptop. And guess what happened to my laptop recently? So...until I get a new laptop, unless I can find the links using my phone, I can't provide them. I'll edit this post to include them if I can.
I was wondering if you had the names of these studies? I have googled but can’t seem to find anything a) recent and b) that agrees with this opinion. I’m posting this publicly in case someone else is interested as well.

I do my family genealogy for fun too. It’s interesting because my moms people on both sides “originated” on an island off the coast of Virginia-there’s plenty of overlap in the family, but nothing near the Brown’s various connections.
I vote for a genealogy episode where they all detail how they are interconnected...nah, the fans wouldn’t like it, never mind.
I would be interested but they wouldn’t as it comes across a bit..icky.

Most likely won’t ever happen...He’s apparently so NOT a famewhore that he lives off the grid in Montana, has no social media whatsoever and has not agreed to any interviews since the show started. Pretty sure he’s been offered a few centavos, too, but that’s just conjecture on my part.
Fun facts:
His name is David Preston Jessop. “Day-uhn”, his biological son, was named after him. The “Day-uhn” part is a nickname combining the Day from David and uhn from the ton in Preston.
He is related to several of the ‘Sister Wives’ cast, besides his own bio kids.
* 1st cousin & 2nd cousin of Christine Brown [1st cousin through Christine’s father Rex Allred, a half-brother of David’s mother Mary Diane Allred; 2nd cousin through Christine’s step-grandmother Ethel Jessop, a sister of David’s father Louis LaMar Jessop]
* 2nd cousin of Mindy’s (live-in Nanny for Robyn, billed as her step-niece).
* 1st cousin of Meri’s “other mothers” Shirley & Judy
* 3rd cousin of Kody Brown
cue: Sly & The Family Stone. It’s a family affffffaaaaaaiiirrr....
I do my family genealogy for fun. Lord, I would hate to be the person attempting this shit fest.

My thoughts:
- Did anyone else notice that most of the moves were before any of the bonus wives joined the family?
- Robyn seemed pissed this episode.
- Christine is still current #1.
- Why does Meri stay? Just leave. No one will judge you.
- I can’t wait to see what their reactions are to the Mega McMansion plan.

Wow, someone certainly is protesting too much.
An education doesn't mean you are a good or bad mom. It means that you have the ability to support yourself if anything happens. Something for which the Brown women are woefully deficient.
You think Maddie would know this considering Janelle was a career oriented woman.

Whoa, In her confessional, Maddie seemed really pissed off about the move. I was kind of surprised at the things she was saying on camera. Like there is no way she will ever move to Flagstaff because the family is just going to move again and she is not going to go following them around every time they decide it's time to go.
The parents are not fooling any of their kids. They are all on to their stupidity. It's amazing they are all so smart.
Exactly my thoughts. I also like how she threw shade about setting up her family and not moving due to lack of jobs.

Kody courting wife #5 would also put the kybosh on the draftperson's house plans. Kody would have to formally ditch one of the wives or get new plans for 5 houses + "my" space for Kody.
The new wife can go smack-bang right in the middle of the Brown Castle. All the wives will have meltdowns having to pass her space on the way to their quarters.

It is my understanding that most if not all states require the single mother’s co-operation in establishing paternity, thereby opening a child-support case against the absent father. Refusing to co-operate=no public assistance.
Also, eligibility is based on financial need, not marital status.
This is the law in Australia as well. The birth certificate won’t be processed unless you have both parents signatures or you sign a Statutory Declaration stating you don’t know who the father is.

Wow, color me shocked! Every Jennings family member is pimping on their respective IG accounts asking followers if they want a Season 6 of the show, and if so, to post on IG and basically bombard TLC. It smells like another season isn't a sure thing and they're trying to pimp hard...or perhaps they've been told to do it as part of their S06 contract? Anyway, I was really surprised to see the boys, Ari and Greg all pimpin' a S06 because they all seem so over the whole thing. Unless of course they've been comandeered into doing it from Jazz and Jeanette...
They are better off doing a “checking in” episode in about 5-10 years, rather than squeeze out another season or 2. It will be interesting to see where Jazz is in 10 years.

She said on her GFM that she gets paid nothing to be on the show, which really sucks. So the Jennings are raking it in but the friends of Jazz make diddly squat? That seems unfair and it I were them I'd have refused to be on the show without any payment. Without non Jennings family members, it would be a pretty lame show, well, lamer than it's turned into.
That does suck. I thought everyone who appeared on TV got some sort of pay check.

I can't with Christine telling her daughter that if she didn't like living there she didn't have to stay for more than 3 years anyway. I'm not for coddling kids but that seemed kind of harsh.
I thought she said it with a snarky tone. It seemed like an inside joke about their constant moving.
