Christina said that she wonders what made them pair her with Henry. I think it’s fair to say that most viewers are wondering about that too.

Karen seems to be trying to find a reason to dump Miles.

I am curious about how Olivia and Brett responded on the questionnaire with regards to having children. Clearly, they are not on the same page. I have a feeling Brett is going to use that as his “out”.

Children may be used as his "out", but if he's being honest about his desire to have kids (and she's being honest about not wanting kids) why consider it an "out" at all? They should NOT be together with conflicting approaches to a major life change. Both should accept that they aren't compatible and move on. And the pressure should then switch to the show/experts/casting directors who matched them...or, as you mentioned, the questionnaire that each completed to determine if one or both were lying.

I have never been a real fan of Hannah but this was a rotten way to treat a once well regarded cast member.  Hannah didn't deserve this at all.

I really think it goes back to Andy and his loathing of woman.  He hasn't ever been able to tolerate someone who has their own mind and voice.  He likes those revolting caricatures that he showcases on Real Housewives,  he likes the monsters.

    Right? Andy definitely loathes women...

BRAVO TO FINISH 2019 AS THE #1 CABLE NETWORK AMONG FEMALE VIEWERS FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Cohen was one of the driving forces in developing plenty of Bravo's current programming, which caters to women. He may not have the same role these days but his legacy is there AND he still hosts WWHL and reunions.

Right...Andy loathes women...all the way to the bank.

    SMH

Why on earth would Andy hate women, his bread and butter? Playing victim 24/7 is getting ridiculous (and always has been).

Bravo is getting exactly what they want. All of this attention and talk generates viewship and ratings. They don't care one bit if we hate Sandy and Malia. That's the way all of these reality shows operate. I just hate that when we finally get a female bosun we get one like Malia who has a tantrum, runs to "mommy" and gets her way all because she can't be without her man for 2 weeks.

It's time for a male chief stew. Maybe the guy that was tight with Kate on OG a few seasons ago. Have there been other men in the interior? I can't recall. Women are common as part of the deck crew.

Shout out to the editors for cutting Pete out so thoroughly that it’s almost as if he doesn’t even exist on earth anymore.

Right? And replacing his airtime with the Sandy/Malia/Bugsy collective attack on Hannah as well as Sandy's humiliation of Kiko...not to mention the selfie-obsessed instagram whore Jess? BRILLIANT.

I will be astounded if those two have sex. I don't think it's gonna happen.

I don't think he's mean or nice - how would we know - he has shown zero personality and little emotion! There's no there there, you know? Cristina seems like a pill, but her comment about the friends was probably because she couldn't think of one thing to say about Henry - she knows virtually nothing about him because he's so silent! His friends made a bigger impression. I had second hand embarrassment when they went to their room and he sat on the bed looking down silently moving the petals and towel animals around. Just strange. I also think she keeps talking about her job because they are traveling and it's an easy subject and he is giving her nothing. She is trying to hold up her end of the conversation, but he is not. I would have already reached a point of frustration, especially seeing all four other couples meshing and happy and relaxed (at this point anyway!).

It's gonna be a looooong seasons folks. Four episodes in and the honeymoons haven't even started!

    Yes and yes

I think Henry is getting a bad edit.

Maybe he isn't the best personality for this show and that could have been exactly why they picked him.  Was he casted for the "nice guy" role after the hot mess of Brandon and Michael?  I don't trust the producers.

I agree that casting probably knew he would be good awkward TV but he is not nice. A nice person would make Christina feel comfortable. Yet she is the one getting the edit to make her appear rude while making every effort (to this point) to make Henry feel comfortable. I just don't see how Henry is a nice guy.

Henry’s Dad really loves bring on TV. Henry definitely did not inherit his personality from Dad.

Perhaps Henry was cast just to have segments with his dad. As others have mentioned, every scene with Henry is an absolute cringe-fest. And I'm still not convinced he likes women.

    Bennett’s mom...is she, okay?

Bennett believes, per his sister, that It’s unethical to have children? What the hell is that?! The parents didn’t seem to be aware of that line of thinking.

Yeah, and why is his sister putting that out there? That discussion that should be between Bennett and Amelia. Sister was throwing him under the bus before the first 24 hours of marriage. Fortunately, B & A were on the same page and quickly resolved it. They are two of the most mature people ever cast on this show.

YES OLIVIA! No suitcase on the bed, no shoes inside, no shoes on the bed! Aleluya

Christina meeting Brett’s Doofus Brothers....she would sneer, turn her nose up and just walk out.

Honestly, I'm sure even Danielle of the "famous" Danielle/Mo-ham-it pairing of 90-Day Fiance would walk away from Brett's doofus brother. It would probably take seven figures for anyone (female...or male) to commit to spending their life with that guy.

My guess is because he has a ton of attractive female friends who use him as a purse holder, chauffeur, and wallet but has not gotten laid in years because he has let these very same friends cock block anyone who was remotely interested.

Beyond the "reserved gentleman" facade, there is something deeper going on with Henry. He claims he hasn't been in a relationship in 4-5 years (and, based on his so-called reserved nature, that also means he hasn't had sex in that same timeframe), which for a guy his age raises lots of questions. I've known a few guys like this. I certainly don't know Henry but I've seen this scenario play out more than a couple times.

There is no way that any of those women would ever date Henry. Trishelle even said it..."he's boring!" They are there for another reason and it is to do him a favor (probably regarding his family, particularly his father)...because they do care about him, just not in that way.

There have been some issues with this site this morning, so I hope this posts.

And for Christina to even say that she has no idea what her husband's name was is very telling. If you hear nothing else at your wedding, you should hear your spouse's name!

Can you blame her? She may not be getting the best edit but she was coupled with (at least to this point) perhaps the worst casting decision in this show's history. Hell, if it wasn't for his name appearing on the screen (and lots of comments here), I wouldn't remember his name. He is the kind of person that needs to have a permanent name tag attached to his chest.

He certainly shouldn't have received the moniker "the Reserved Gentleman". Reserved, yes. Gentleman, no. If he was a true "gentleman" (by the way, I personally hate that term), he would have made an effort to make Christina feel comfortable. I don't blame her one bit for crapping on him with earring comment. Good for her. He was being a complete ass. A better moniker would be "The Deceptive Gentleman"...and deceptive can go a couple ways.

She had to come to "protect" her poor, dear, very very best friend Henry and make sure he didn't pick the wrong female because, of course, she cares so much about him and wants him to be happy (just not with anyone but her).  Unfortunately, the selection process was closed off, but no worries.  She never thought he'd match up with anyone anyway.  Shock of shocks...he did.  There's nothing else to do but go in determined not to like Henry's wife and not have a good time at the wedding.  That doesn't mean she couldn't get incredibly sloshed and obnoxious at the same time.  After all, new wifey puts a crimp in her routine of dragging Henry with her whenever she wants to find a guy but doesn't want to go alone.  She wants Henry to continue being her bar buddy so she can laugh uproariously at everything he says....within earshot of the cute dude at the next table...and excuse herself to go flirt outrageously at any attractive man and then slide right back in to the booth with Henry, who's continued to order (and pay for) all her drinks.

Methinks Christina has already figured this chick out.  And mark my words.....she and Christina will butt heads, and quickly.

Henry and friend may be unaware that they are competing.

Christina may have diva tendencies but she's the one thar got screwed with the coupling.

Some of these people should never be handed a mic.

No kidding. None of them should ever have access to a mic. The only semi-funny comment in any of the speeches was Henry's goofy ass dad saying Henry will now be buying for two on his credit card.

And Bennett's mom...put a sock in it. It's amazing that Bennett turned out somewhat normal (good quirky, genuine, and nice) with her influence in his life.

Actually she dumped Adam for the bosun. That’s why Adam was so pissed off that season.

Um, no. Not racism. Or are you suggesting that DRAH-ma on the show, if it involves a Black couple, is racism from the producers at Lifetime? Because then what do we call it when a White couple goes off the rails (have you SEEN "MAFS: Australia"?!)?

    Yeah...that's it. SMH

No, I was referring to the giant 8' x 8' banner above the sofa in Miles' living room that Lifetime/MAFS prominently featured for a few minutes during his earlier scenes.

I personally don't care how anyone (regardless of ethnicity or race) feels in their private life, but a network assisting by broadcasting those feelings to tons of viewers during a time of global racial unrest seems like a stunt. The network and show production team were obviously aware of the presence of the banner...it was massive.
