I wonder if she actually missed a rehearsal or if that was just an excuse. I hope she wouldn’t be punished when it comes to auditions next year.... 😳

Me too. I like her a lot. She seems strong this year. I will never understand the Meredith decision. The game clips I see of her she still lags. But Rachel I hope she will not be sacrificed later.

I figured it out too late. Still, I was surprised about that. Hope it doesn't affect her Show Group.

Don't be fooled, Kelli cuts the girls she wants to cut and keeps the girls she wants to keep.  Period.

She is merely looking for things to justify making the decisions she already wants to make.  Me-too Taylor and Julia would have been cut for other (manufactured) reasons even if they'd passed the media test with flying colors.

    100% This!!!!!

She is one of my fav's and who ever decided she needed a new hair cut was right on point! There were too many long hair brunettes. I also love her body type, it's healthy and gorgeous.

I agree so much. Her hair always bothered me. She looks more unique now and short hair makes you notice her face more. She doesn't meld into Molly etc. She does seem stronger this year and happy.

Is the issue is that the man is a pastor vs. some other job title (educational background) vs. that he spoke to the group in the 1st place?

It's one thing if it's voluntary, but another when it's forced upon you like that. Employment laws here in my state forbid that type of activity.

NONE of the group leaders picked Lisa. Seems pretty significant! But we don't get to see or hear why?

I noticed that too. Made me think the complaints and rumors may be true that she behaves entitled. Maybe all the early praise caused arrogance in locker room? Was that her who messed up the first kickline we saw? Love Kelsey! Love Bridget, love Caroline.

You were spying on me, weren’t you? That’s almost exactly what I yelled at the screen during that little exchange.

Me too!! Like, aren't these ladies also expected to work and or go to school???? Do those count as stepping stones?? A high school graduate has experienced so little everything is a stepping stone in comparison. What would happen if Harvard university told students we get offended by those who see us as a stepping stone. Geez comon. Kelly barks out each season about ladies going on to do even bigger things having been empowered through being a DCC. WTH???? What happened to Madeline should be a lawyer...that's not better than being a DCC? Uggggg, just ugg!

  8. Would someone please 🙏🙏 pretty please catch me up on a couple things.

#1 Have there been any post camp cuts?

#2 Is either Kat or Meredith not performing on the field? Do they dance at all during field performances  or hidden?

#3 are there new people managing images that are uploaded? I am sickened by the deformed waistlines being peddled. And further warp young ladies minds of beauty and health.

I enjoyed the part where KaShara picked who she thought would be a good point:  Amy! No, wait.... Maddie!  No, wrong again!  Caroline!  😄

I may be alone on this entire post but.......I absolutely love Caroline!!!! She should have been point over all others.....to me anyway. How did k ignore Kash's recommendation. To me she is far more glamorous and camera friendly.  Honestly it makes watching the pregame routine less fun. Geez, I give up.  I barely remember the episodes air most weeks. Blah.....at least we are seeing some of the suggestions from this board come to life. More side by sides, more dancing, more group interactions. One gripe, and this may have been hashed out weeks ago. But it rubbed the wrong way for Kelly to ask about TCs Ancesty results. Like what business of theirs is it. I smell need to claim diversity so desperately.

This may seem true and fair, but if they want to brand themselves as role models then they need to consider racial diversity when selecting a team. If they want to inspire young girls to get into dance class, follow their dreams, aim big and aspire to be them aka spend money on their merch, come to their meet n greets and try to attend their performances...then they need to make more effort to actually look like their customer base.

That is why racial diversity matters.

But, it's the DCC, it's Texas and it's the Jones family so it'll go ignored, but it really shouldn't.

SO glad you expanded on this. Because diversity is not the same as diverse looks. Lawd knows they find much less significant and completely fictitious reasons to place or cut people anyway. So this is nothing to avoid, because...reasons...(cough limited scope of human value, and devoid of what real people want)

Didn't she pull her hair out of a clip during her routine?  And it went kind of crazy?

Yes, because it provides clarity.  The judges are looking for clarity.  Sometimes you need a little clarity.

I am coming back from weeks of being gone having my 12-year-old in hospital from a heart attack. So this really made me laugh hard. What's so funny is I deeply feel K&J&C lack true clarity. SO up each other's backsides poo doesn't smell like poo anymore to them. Geez....thanks for the laugh :)

  12. Just thought I would chime in after being away a bit for boring business stuff. Throwing this out there. We may see during the show's fitting episode, VK being given her last year fitting uniform and when she comes back in, her beaming and them going crazy how it is "too big", whoops, 'Way too big" for her this year to amp up how great she looks, and how much more fit she is. We know she looks better for now but geez. Hmmm, I wonder...

This whole thing is sad. Especially if it's being done in defiance BECAUSE of very valid criticism of decisions last year. No one was "telling Kelli who should be on the squad" just saying some treatment was blatantly wrong. And instead of maybe trying to work with that person and doing everything in your power to make sure SHE doesn't make the same mistakes and therefore there is no reason for anyone to be critical, you double down, are now punishing one of your strongest dancers just for doing what the veterans were allegedly supposed to do and help. Jalyn it looks like was trying to HELP her. Are you that selfish that because people criticized you you need to hurt your squad? You're not helping Victoria, who you supposedly care about you are just making people hate her more. Your are driving amazing people off of your team, people who may have stayed a long time and been strong leaders. It just seems incredibly petty and close minded and selfish.

Sorry guys here is my mini-rant-

I am just going to say it. I feel distressed for the ladies that are the most vulnerable within the TCC/DCC environment.  I never thought they would go this far. The DCC world inner circle may be tiny. But the extended world goes way past to include people you would not necessarily think of.

TPTB and motley crew. To go as far as trying to discredit those who speak out on what they are witnessing as wrong. To make it a campaign to silence those who are suffering under such a toxic, favoritism geared rule, is sickening. Leadership and staff often stop even seeing it for what it is. It's their normal, I guess.

Knowing that there is an expectation communicated to "support your teammates and protect each other from bullies", under the guise of social media education, but really meant to caudle VicSidious upsets me. I don't hate the girl and have no motivation to make her life difficult. But it appears there is zero awareness of how she makes others lives hard. TPTB only amplify that. It's actually not fair to VK. That is NOT the story we will get in Aug. We will hear how she overcame negative attention through the support of her teammates who love her, kinda thing.

In the beginning, I had hoped she would be gracious towards others. Or at least fake it better. Every excuse in the world is being given to her. Oh and expect a major spin for the show. I had said Kelly was defiantly protecting and "showing" off VK. For me, it is not as much as whether there is talent present. Clearly, there is, but I could care less in some respects. It's the behaviors I can't stomach.

I have had to help large health care corporations "re-educate leadership" when the sense of reality is so contrary to the facts, that turnover became a major financial loss. It never failed to amaze me how intentionally blind over-indulged leadership can become. It is not something that happens overnight. Whole boards have been removed because they end up reinforcing eachthers false realities. And I end up looking at the faces of 18 executives baffled as to why a 2nd nursing strike has happened. This DCC summer is like that to me.

Just imagine being in camp, hearing all the specially crafted wording on "protecting, shielding, and wouldn't you want the same if it were you" speeches. Dealing with personalities who can cry and manipulate those around by "being hurt"..., or imagine watching a forever growing list of people mentor someone who already has an automatic in while you struggle and are under secret gag orders or be banished, type of emotional environment.

They really have gone too far if hardcore persecution is what you face if caught speaking in any manner other than what you are expected to parrot and/or makes the DCC appear as a demiGod. As I listen to people it reminds me of brainwashing. Isolate young girls in intensive hours of evaluation, barely time to breathe and it won't be until they exit that abusive relationship that they realize too much was sacrificed at points. (Not everyone has the same experience, obviously). But I worry. It is the minority of girls that leave having had a great total experience? Some have it all while a DCC, most do not, or it appears to be something along those lines. Has it always been this way? Did I really miss it during the former years?

okay working on 2 hours sleep, so this may read funny to me in the AM.

If you want to throw a fit about Kelli and Judy being unfair and not watching anymore, you should have stopped watching years ago!

Well, to each their own. I think what most are saying when expressing not watching anymore, is not so much as "NEVER" watching an episode. But setting every record reminder or protected DVR space. just is no longer a priority. Will not purchase the season etc. The hype has evaporated when we used to be more excited and happy to share the experience with the gals...etc, etc.

People getting disenchanted is kinda normal for any show 14 years long. People stop watching all kinds of things based on ethical differences. That is the sticking point here, Doesn't mean we don't stay informed. But I hear ya.

Tiresome...and as a viewer, my lack of viewership is one way to communicate. There is a reason why so many areas stopped including CMT shows. But I get your point, I do.

Who is her damage control team I’m sorry that’s funny !!😂

Hey good, ole hyper micromanager, Kelly makes sure there is a proper chain of command specifically for her. What is so upsetting is by reports most of the girls are not even allowed to call. I initially had misunderstood DCC were encouraged to remain in contact, but it turns out, not direct contact.

Dysfunction on this sort often results in a scenario where a person like Auntie Kelly becomes the one checking in with you, as a gentle reminder to keep at the good work and discuss any rumors or chatter of things unpleasant, to address. Not as a warning, but as a counteractive agent thing. And oh by the way..." so and so" will be helping you out this week. Tying to balance those they are willing to risk trusting, with those who get burned out having to wrangle by the one being enabled. Man, it must be tiresome for all those caught in the crossfire of rumor mills, factual reporting, the actual lowdown that's just crappy to deal with, and so on. All for hardly any paid income at all.

By the way...the motivation for the VK being on SG, is to also allow for the most exposure to whose who. TV appearances and performances, best community appearance offers, biggest media events, rubbing armpits with famous people armpits...etc.....being on SG justifies that. Just saying...more to come...more to come I am sure.

Ashley looked amazing, as did Cianna, Caroline, Rachel A, Heather (as always), and Molly! Savannah looks so much prettier when they let her smile naturally in these photo shoots. I approve the no more sexy-constipated facials on her! I saw the super unfortunate photo of Brennan in the magazine some folks had mentioned here. Just, wow. That almost seems like some hateful editing there. Taylor was a big surprise--I always read her more as cute and less beautiful, but she looks grown and sexy in most of these--and Daphne looks much better than I expected based on comments here. Rachel W looked great in most photos, but also thoroughly orange in some. Girl, just stop with the orangeness! She's so gorgeous otherwise, it's kind of absurd.

And how could I forget Tess?! I think she's so ridiculously gorgeous and photogenic.

I agree with so many here. Of the pictures I saw, the ones that seemed out of place against the rest was Brianna. I have never seen a photo I like of hers. Her body read like a little girl and for some reason, she seems to lack a glam most of the time...to me anyway. Maybe she is not comfortable? I am a fan of Amy, but she seems to not be the best swimsuit poser. I adore her though so who cares. But this year's photos are so impressive I am shocked to hear it was the same photographers. This gives me hope the cameos will be outstanding instead of blah, was everyone ill kind of pictures. NICE JOB EVERYONE...JUST WOW WOW WOW!

Team Bridget over here! I think she is so gorgeous that she doesn't need any amping, BUT I agree that with some extra glam (a little more oomph to the eyes, maybe?), she would be a knockout point girl. She just radiates so much joy when she dances, even at rehearsal, that she's a delight to watch. Her lines are so clean and she has a seemingly effortless pop to her. I've been all "Bridget For Point Someday!" since about week 3 of last season's show. She absolutely should be a triangle girl if she sticks around and I'm eager to see where she is in the formation this year. She was one of the farthest up of the rookies last year--I think she, Jaylyn, Daphne, and Caroline got the best of the rookie positions last season, and I'm curious how far up each of them moves this year. I'm hoping far!

I agree, Meredith was disappointing to watch. Whoever said she's the new Savannah is right--so behind the group, and shockingly lethargic to watch. She really will have to step it up or she will be gone, no matter how much Kelli likes her look. I'd kind of like to see her figure out how to rock it as a rookie and bring the heat, so to speak.

@M1977G Totally agree with all you said. LOVE LOVE me some Bridget! I want to know much more about her. Really why wasn't she a 2ndGL? Way better than Lexie IMO.

Maybe that's why I like her.  She's unique and not cookie cutter.  She's absolutely stunning.

(this is a combo response to other posts too)

I like Hanna too. I don't get the hate honestly. They did a bad job of photographing her, in person, she is stunning and very sweet. I wish they would change her eyebrows though. They get harsh. I don't think it's fair to say she's not Americas' Sweet Heart type. America is pretty vast with lots of appetites to satisfy. It's that whole, "bouquet of women" thing they profess constantly. Her dancing is great.

On VK, her kicks looked really good. She was very pretty and pulled up. It was controlled seemingly. Better than others for sure. But shouldn't it? She has had years of practice. Some polish will help. Someone was giving accolades on persevering criticism. Personally, I'd be careful with over the top praise of weathering the storm. I would assert, many of these ladies have weathered public storms as well. This board is not representative of the total sum of viewers.  I cringed at Kelly's tone towards Kristen last season. Big picture, it's tough for anyone being scrutinized via national TV. This board has no hesitation on harsh dance critique of anyone found wanting in control, style or pop per se. That has never been reserved only towards VK. I have no problem praising good performers and have done so here. But that's just me, and tiny 1/2 cents worth of thought.

I agree Heather looked like she was dancing a bit soft, and Alexis, her dancing bothered me, totally lackluster. The blonde TCC next to her looked great in comparison. I LOVE Bridget, if they could amp up her look to stand out more, she would be a strong point contender, but not as she is. Even though her dancing is worthy of it.

TCC that Kelly liked her turn out (can't remember her name, Meredith?). She looked so darn stiff in the video clip, out of sync, and at parts seemed to not know the dance like the others. For me, she lacks that sex appeal curve in her dancing. Honestly, I am shocked she failed to blend into the style. Wasn't that an original concern, could she be more than a soloist? Perhaps she shines in other areas, but they tend to be unforgiving on the Thunder Dance routine. Am I alone?

I agree!  The choreography should be more upbeat...too slow mo!  Someone needs to kick it up a notch.

I thought the same thing and then got to wondering. Do you think they intentionally do these slower dancers to allow the girls some pacing breathers being on the sideline for 4 hours? I imagine it would be impossible to do heavy hitting fast dancing straight through. Or am I wrong? Someone help me out? Any Idea if it is intentional?
