I finally watched the new episode and I’m so disgusted I don’t even know where to begin. For a while now I have been contemplating how reality tv has deteriorated my intelligence and the intelligence of several generations of Americans. After watching this episode and having my husband walking in and out of the room while muttering “what the actual fuck?”, I had to ask myself, am I actually entertained by this anymore? Am I really? Is the snarking over Quitney’s buffoonery on this sub and watching this train wreck worth what I watched yesterday?
First of all, I witnessed both of my parents decline and lose their health slowly in hospital until they died. If this poor excuse for a human intends to make this the basis of her “season,” I’m out. That’s not something anyone needs to see because it’s private for a family going through it, and it’s certainly not entertainment or educational. And I’m not going to watch something that brings all of that back for me. Secondly, I didn’t like the kind of person I became watching that ridiculous bullshit on TV. She is filming one of her family’s lowest points for money and all I could think of was look at this ridiculous cow, with her over inflated orange clown mouth, blubbering and wailing and carrying on, all the while making sure the right camera angles were in place. For some reason, instead of having Christian pity or concern for her, I just wanted to slap her and I don’t like feeling that way. So I have to ask myself, is this entertaining?
I do not feel badly laughing and snarking at this woman’s delusions of grandeur, her unreal plot lines, her fantasy boyfriends or her paid friends. I figure hey, she is putting all of this out there for money, so she is inviting public response. I’m good to go watching her paid romance with Lennie, her made up “business and friends” and her fantasy French man. I do not want to watch Babs’ health struggles or the toll it is taking on her and her family. Sorry, can’t do it.

I guess there IS something for Janelle in Utah! I know she loves her “plains of plague” in Flagstaff and living in her RV during the temperate months, but I really think that if she didn’t have Christine’s companionship and friendship, she would miss it terribly. Think about it. Who else has lived a life like theirs or could commiserate with them like they can with each other. Their familiarity and friendship brings comfort to their combined group of children, both grown and under age. I would bet my bank account that Janelle hasn’t been properly bedded by Grody in years and she gets no loving, platonic attention from him either. So really, this is a much more valuable relationship for her and I think she should consider at least wintering with this rowdy, lovable bunch. Her daughter is a senior now right? So there is nothing to stop her from having good family times in Utah when she isn’t staking her claim on that ridiculous piece of land in AZ.

The poor court jester has no clothes. I’ll say it again, I feel SO sorry for his ex wife and children. They must be so humiliated and embarrassed. Well, at least he has something to do with his days now, and his ex wife may see some child support, if she still has age appropriate children with him.

So, presumably he is “ministering” to this homeless couple in his home town. If he left there, and felt SO tired, why did he look around for a hotel (when he just left one) instead of driving home and going to bed? Or why didn’t he call one of his kids to come get him? Who stops in their home town to get a hotel room? Unless they are getting up to something they don’t want the neighbors to see? It totally sounds like he was meeting some “girls,” not a “couple,” and that he got drugged and robbed. It would explain why he didn’t call family or friends when he “felt so tired.” Have the “homeless couple” been heard from again? If he is going to keep up this proclivity of his, he needs to at least become a better liar.

Just one crazy question. How in the hell does this creeper think that watching a 52 year old former youth pastor trying to get some 22 year old tail on television will bring (good) attention to the Michigan Lupus Foundation? Like, in what reality does that make sense? I have worked for many non profits and I can tell you that my Boards would have had him out of there immediately, as soon as they got wind of what he was doing, and would have issued a public statement that his serious lack of judgement had forced us to part ways.
Is this guy seriously that out of touch with reality? Does he really believe that his predatory proclivity toward very young foreign girls is ordained by God? That’s just sick. And he’s so giddy about it on this FB Live, with his mommy watching! His ex wife and children must be so humiliated by this. I can’t even imagine what they are dealing with.

That's all I have to say about that.
Interesting theme unfolding about a man who has made his life’s work about children (I.e., youth pastor, children’s support group, etc.) and then preys on women just barely out of childhood or young enough to be his own child. He needs to be kept away from young people, especially young girls. He keeps telling himself that the almighty is putting these young girls in his life and on his heart. I think God is not doing what ol Benny thinks He is, and he better stop blaming his fetish on God before He gets mad and and f*#ks up his other eye for him.

Now I'm wondering how many of her fawning fans are signing up to her downline. I think it's a shame this fambly does these MLM's, knowing that most people spend more than they will earn.
It just makes me sad that Christine is doing this . . . I think she has gotten more and more likable since she has come into her own and I’ve been trying to support her by tuning in for her cooking show each week and posting a link on my FB feed to the show each week as well. I hope that if she is able to get more success with the cooking show or other forms of entertainment that are independent of the rest of the family, she lets the MLMs go. It will make her more legitimate, more independent and more respected in general. I just can’t support her MLM crap, even though I know it enabled her to leave Grody and pay for her daughter’s much needed surgery. She just really needs to go legit if she is going to build respect in communities that don’t intersect with Mormons or polygamy.

In all seriousness, this Ben is a total creeper and I shutter to think what was going on in his warped mind while he was masquerading as clergy around these young girls. No one should be allowing this sick fuck around their young daughters and if I were his ex wife and children I would be dying of embarrassment. I would also add that TLC has gotten really sickening about who they put on their shows and they are giving these sickos an opportunity to get their jollies while we watch. I have to fast forward through this guy’s segments because he makes me want to 🤮

Weeeeeellllllllll, I wouldn’t exactly say she’s been doing absolutely nothing for the last 10 years . . . It appears that she has been single handedly (no pun intended) servicing Grody from the beginning, perhaps even before their spiritual wedding. We now know that the intimate portion of the other wives’ marriages were ended by Grody when Sobyn came into the family. So I guess one could argue that she is doing her share of the work, since you couldn’t pay me or Mike Rowe enough to take on that dirty job . . . 🤮
