Maybe Laurie missed it on the HO needs/request for a playroom but to come to her defense I loved the living room! It was classy, elegant and a different flair to the current farmhouse trend. The sliding door built- in was beautiful and I want to make one for my living room. It’s really hard to tell the scale of the piece from just seeing it on T.V. It may not seem as large in the room as it appears. Great job Laurie! When being on Trading Spaces it’s a risk and you don’t know what you're going to get. I think it should be more for the experience and having fun. If you get a room you like it’s an added bonus, if not, then it’s not permanent and can always be changed.
