    I'm not exactly sure why they decided to bring her back, or why Mary decided to come back, unless it's because she needed the money and the take-out food.

     

    You wrote my thoughts!  Can't stand Mary and she has no relationship with anyone other than food, so why is she there?  I mean the others are a bunch of fakers with mental issues but they can at least take direction.....Mary's scenes add no value.

    S09.E01: Vows, Vendettas and Vibrators

    I still love the show, but...

    1.  Leva - I detest her.  She is neither southern nor charming.  I think they are trying to make her the "peer leader" that Camryn was.  That's not gonna happen.  She's too bossy; too New York.  

    2.  Sober Taylor is the true Taylor, I believe.  I think production told her she had to keep up some Shep-related drama to keep her position, and she has to get drunk to do it.  The girl sold her soul.......

    3.  Paige bores me.  She clearly doesn't like Craig.  Why is she there?

    4.  Patricia - does she have any connection to any one any more?  I mean I love that she brings real Charleston to the show, but I don't think she is into it anymore.  I know she is Whitney's mom, but maybe one of her friends should replace her.

    5.  I know many Sheps.  Someday he will look in the mirror and ask himself if his "lifestyle" was worth losing the sweet, fresh Taylor.  He has read his own PR for too long.  He is unattractive (though he has kept his body in better shape than A&C), worn-out and aging.  Taylor would love to be part of his life if he would just stop with playboy act.

    S17.E12: Life After Polygamy

    Janelle needs to separate herself financially and physically from all that is Kodouche and his sobynette.  She needs to start taking care of herself physically and emotionally.  She could go back to Utah or move near her kids.  I think the kids thing is a better plan because I really think that Janelle and Christine have only a mutual dislike of Dodouche and his sobynette in common.  I pray that seeing Christine ride off into the sunset and the talking to that Kotex is about to give her seal her fate and push her into decision mode.

    S17.E11: The Worst Goodbye

    You guys have made so many great points!  I won't recap those, but I do have a couple of thoughts.

    1.  How does Sobyn get the greenlight to go on and on about Christine destroying a family?  Didn't Sobyn do the exact same thing?  

    2.  I don't read the current/social media posts, but I would LOVE if on the next show we would see Janelle saying that Christine has it right and packing up that RV and following her!

    I Googled the cast salaries and while I know they aren't 100% accurate I was surprised, I thought it would be more. They estimate Whitney makes between 5-10K per episode while her friends make around $1,500K. I can definitely see it being worth it for some of the friends as long as they can take the degradation. Their family and real friends must know the truth from the acting. Jessica probably earned more for airing her wedding, and I bet her salary paid for her wedding. Buddy and Courtney might be thinking the same but are trying to limit screen time as much as possible. I do think Heather had Covid but it's also possible she didn't want to or couldn't leave her kids this season. I don't think a comparison to lying about cancer is the same as lying about Covid SunnyBeBe, at least not in the minds of younger people. The majority recover so quickly. Unless they know someone who was not lucky they might equate it to the flu and not see it as more than a little white lie.

    If she felt threatened Hilda could have slowly walked away from Whitney and never fear she would catch up with her to "kill her."

    I did love Lennie's joke about Whitney needing a bigger jet ski.

    I think Whitney saw how many people knew the French Man was fake and it angered her so she dug her heels in deeper. Instead of creating a story line that would be believable such as the distance being too much she went with an open relationship. This allows for the added subplot with Lennie. Will she need to tell the French Man that she succumbed to Lennie's charms? Will this force a complete break up as Lennie refuses to share her with another man a million miles away? The drama of it all, stay tuned viewers for next season!

    The guys on the beach were either paid or came because they saw cameras and wanted to be on TV. I am going with paid. It's tit for tat made up TV drama. She was jealous Lennie danced with a woman and he was jealous two men singled her (out of all people available on the beach) to oil them up. Sigh.

    The scene where Hunter burst into the hotel room with cameras in tow was hysterical. Whit and Lennie are clothed and obviously wide awake even though they pretended to be sleeping, all prepared for this shocking reveal.

    That bathing suit in the hot tub. Whitney in the hot tub. My eyes!

    Tal really is working over time, he definitely read the script and is 100% committed. I think the fact that he needed a place to live ensured he was going to do whatever it took to stay in her good graces. Hunter is a wanna be actor so he's definitely on board with the script, plus it's his sister. He wants her to have money coming in and make some himself, and I'm sure he hates that people mock her even though he knows the show is scripted.

    I stumbled upon this show in it's first season and loved Whitney's message. She was morbidly obese and she knew it. She knew she didn't look great physically and knew the extra weight was bad for her health. She wanted to change that and help others too, but she was sending the message that it was OK to live in your overweight body while you worked toward better health. She was vocal about how unfair it was for people to be judged as they worked out, danced, shopped for clothing and did normal activities. She wanted to make a change in her life and help others along the way. I thought this was fabulous, she was sending a message to get out there and exercise no matter what shape you were in. Ignore the haters because they are morons and don't know you are on a journey that takes time. Well, we are on Season 10 and it's been about 8 years. The only change is that the show now seems to be a poorly written hour sitcom. Whitney hasn't lost any weight and exercise and diet are barely mentioned. When we do see her exercise she seems to just move her arms around. This is now about her made up life. When the show ends maybe she will face actual reality and her life will improve. She can't meet a man for her real life if each year she commits to a new fake boyfriend. I also imagine a real suitor wouldn't be to keen on appearing on camera in this fiasco of a "reality" show.  I truly wonder what will happen when the show ends, she's got years of this stupidity on camera for anyone to view. It would make anyone think twice about becoming her significant other or even a friend.

    Of course she hasn't lost weight!  How could she "star" in a show about her fat life if she was slim?  Now reality would be that she goes on a diet, loses 50 pounds, throws out her clothes, then gains the weight back.....that's the real life of a fat girl!!!!!

    I love that Erika tried to be so cool for so many years, and never got the title.  And Garcelle just cruises in as Ms. Cool and Collected clearly not even trying to be!

    Diana!  I loathe you!

    And not in that I hate Erika because she is an evildoer way, but in that you don't fit in/you don't belong on the show/you are a waste of screen time way.  Dear Bravo, please ditch this bitch!

    Ok a duplicate posted, but question.  Does anyone use youtubetv?  I watched the recent episode on peacock but it still isn’t available on youtubetv.  Is that normal?  I am new to streaming.

    Leva and Venita are neither southern nor charming.  If they don’t leave, I will.  The others, while all annoying in their own way, represent what the show is about.  Leva with her annoying hands and the need to keep having the same “conversation” over and over is ugh!!!! And Venita!  So horrible!  Who called her thirsty?  You were right.  The funny thing is she wasn’t as bad on WWHL.  I thing her SC persona is her idea of acting.  I tune in to watch drama of the Peter Pan set and their blonde debs.  Not the anger show of Leva and Venita.

    If I recall the correct episode, it was white pants and a white and navy top?  I loved the outfit, but my thoughts exactly!  Kelli loved that top so much she bought it and they showed her in it later.

    S12.E08: It Takes a Villain

    Rinna - So glad we got a week off.  Could we parlay that into a few seasons?

    Sutton - I don't feel one way or the other so much as I think she should leave.  She is qualified to play bitch with this gang.  Leave and be peaceful and happy.

    Erika - Loving her drunky drunk side.  I didn't think I could sit through another season of her but watching her waist and thighs grow and seeing the shots they are getting of her whilst passed out, well damn, it's quite fun.

    New girl - I hate her and have no time for her.  They need to downplay her then fire her.  I don't have time for that.  She doesn't even make sense.  But hating her has taken my attention away from hating Dorito and Erika as much.

    Garcelle - I love more than anything.  Why can't we build a show around supportive friends like Garcelle and her buddy instead of the screaming bitches?

    DCC serving it!!!!!  That was fantastic.  A DCC and what.....a bunch of stoners?  My pet rock has more energy.  And poor Ashley Paige.  The girl is SWH pretty but she really looks like an accountant dancing.  Beautiful face, not happy face.  (Not directed at you ByTor, I am an acct too.)

    I agree re Emily's father except he signed papers saying he would support Kobe.  Emily couldn't pass the income test.  So papa-Em signed papers and committed to something  and he knew exactly what it was.

    S04.E01: Who Doesn't Like Thirds?

    Dannnnnielle is earning her pay this season!  I hope she doesn't take a step back and become pitiful again.  Can't wait to see if the make her epiphany a story line.  I love it!!!  Does anyone but me think that Ick is even ickier????  I mean in addition to the Golden Girls glasses (great comparison!) he looks greasy now.  And I swear that even before the height discussions, I was like, wait.....I don't recall him being that short?  Maybe he was pulling a Tom Cruise and they took his platforms away.  If so, good move!!!!  I am truly excited about this season!!!
