Lol you’re the one who announced her departure.

I read the comment as, “yeahhhh... this unselfish / brave commentary is BS”.

I don’t want to kicked from the group or break the rules of it - I really like the group! But the fundamentals of it, Kelli used her and threw her out like trash, pulled her into the office over her weight and really laid into her. For someone who watched that girl grow up from a child, in her own home and played with her own children it’s just made me dislike Kelli even more. I did like Kelli but sometimes questioned judgement or how things are handled - we all do things differently - If it’s true what I read there’s very possibly bridges burnt behind the scenes.

VK was basically being used for storylines, just thrown out after Kelli gave her a verbal bashing and no longer has any use for her.

I’m sure the original poster will at some point come on here and fill in gaps and correct any of my errors 🙂

Thank you for sharing! I certainly don't want to get you in trouble! I wonder how it truly went down. There are always three sides to a story - my side, your side, and the truth somewhere in the middle, am I right? I have to imagine our insider is getting the details from the VK camp as to make VK look sympathetic and now Kelli is the big bad meanie for using this for storylines?

I can see a world where VK has been warned all season, and finally, Kelli pulls her in, tells her "no more warnings, here's where we're at - you're not going to make it past finals / into camp" (however they are doing it this year). Which then leads to her and VK getting into an argument about it(since we know VK will push back on / lie to Kelli) and Kelli just getting exasperated with it and yelling. I assume nothing was filmed so we will never know....

Soooo I’m sure the person who stated it on Facebook may well state it on here - Kelli went to town on poor Victoria in the office 😕 Victoria is walking away

I don't have Facebook - was anything else said in that post?

Two years ago actually.  Remember all those scripted moments in Season 14?

“We think we can go a little more inside the conversations the [aspiring cheerleaders] are having and show their empowerment,” said Stu Schreiberg, the show’s executive producer. “Chris and Nina say they want to celebrate the positive in our society, and our show fits right into that.”

Celebrate the positive in our society and MTT fits right into that????

That must be the season where they threw Daphne a fake graduation ceremony, but then also tried to use the death of Shaina's friends as content...

Any guess why Sydney is retiring after only one season? Is her boyfriend changing teams? Or is she no longer with him?

If I recall correctly, boyfriend was a generous interpretation of their situation. I believe he recently had a second child with the mother of his first child and those two are together.

I think I'm in the minority but I love Marissa's dress. Yes, it looks like a prom dress but is that not appropriate ?

    I love her dress too!

I’m curious what the stated dress code actually is... you’ve got some wild interpretations goin’ on in that photo. My best guess is semi-formal? Most of the outfits would be totally normal to see at a ( on black tie or more formal) wedding up here in Boston... and others look like they’re for a tea party... not to mention the beach cover up!

One thing I notice on the first couple of cuts of the TCC were no big show of emotion. To me it just seemed like because they were not dancing for 4+ hrs nightly nor were they able to socialize together, there was not the degree of bonding to the other girls, the experience etc.  I think they were more detached, sort of like the first day of class were no one knew each other. Did anyone else feel this upon reflection or was it just me?

I felt the same way and I wonder if the pandemic and this year’s set up contributed to that feeling.  Normally, lots of candidates travel to Dallas (if they don’t live there) for prep classes and of course tryouts. If a TCC makes it to camp, they are generally at least finding short term housing for the summer. So in a normal year, you’re already more invested in the process while this year was just all video work until TC.  I think it was awesome that housing was paid for this year for camp due to the “bubble”, but I can see where you don’t feel as invested to fly in and have a super condensed TC and get cut midway through. It just feels like a regular ol’ audition at that point. I also think that you may have had more people try out on a whim this year rather than committing to being in Dallas for tryouts, so it was no harm no foul for them to get cut and fly back to their “normal” life.

I think they all handled it very professionally and took everything seriously.  In my opinion, Kelli was the one who handled things unprofessionally.

I agree with you. I’ve had to do a lot of layoffs recently because of COVID and had hard conversations related to performance when leading teams throughout my career. I didn’t see anything unprofessional from the three vets.

Kelli needs to learn how to manage and have tough conversations with people. Why did Lily have to ask point blank if she was getting cut? Why is Judy even in the room if she says nothing? I feel as if J&K were ruder to the cut vets than the cut rookies. Maybe that’s why people felt that the conversations were unprofessional? It was IMO stemming from J&K’s end, not the vets.

Also if more virtual events were happening in 2020 (per a cut rookie’s Zoom), why would you cut vets for dance related reasons... Brennan especially should’ve been your #1 all around ambassador in that regard. She has a serious career and you can tell her interactions with J&K this week when on zoom.

  9. Kristin and Maddie look thick. Kat should’ve been cut. Kelly was never going to make it based on her look. Does anyone else think Sheridan looks like Marcia Brady from the Brady Bunch movie about 20 years ago? I liked her!

Loved (/s) the shot of VK enthusiastically clapping for another group dancing. Teammate of the year!

Can you imagine if MTT is still on when VK retires?  That season will last longer than one of Cher's retirement tours!!

Apparently she is so sweet, she is sending out autographed pics of herself even though they weren't supposed to be doing that cause of Covid.

Rules for thee and not for V(k)!!

  11. What was the timing of SG being announced? I can see an issue if Hannah made SG and then they turned around and cut her.

Gosh, I have so many questions about how this went down. Was camp shut down and they ended up mass cutting people... or were they at 39 and then only cut vets? (I think Meredith was cut prior to this week, yaaa? That was my best Kitty voice btw).  Did they actually cut the vets OR did they just announce the team (similar to how it would be done at finals)? Was Kitty around this year?

Yes, that is what someone mentioned on here, but as far as I know they did not provide more information on what they are.

Got it, am sure we’ll hear about it soon enough. It always comes out...
