  1. Lauren is so active on social media, that I would not be at all surprised to see that she is in final 3 with a chance at being the winner. She had jury allies...

Or maybe it means nothing. Those very excited about the season tend to do well is all.

  2. If Dan was given a warning and stopped, it could have been the end. If he continued, then he should have been ejected. Hard to know when we don’t see an accurate timeline.

Missy and Elizabeth magnified the issue and used it as gameplay, so even if he had stopped after the warning, the issue could no longer go away.

  3. Janets defense of Tommy on Twitter has many calling it production damage control for Tommy and points to him as winner.

I hope it’s true he defended her, but if so wouldn’t they have shown it if he was the winner?

  4. She is missing the Janet part. Maybe she didn’t realize the full extent what was going on with Kelli,  but she still went along with a plan to exaggerate sexual harassment, in order to manipulate another persons vote.

  5. Her Twitter apology took no responsibility for knowingly deceiving Janet. She may not have been the one to say it, but she knew what was going on. Such BS.

Considering that the show had finished filming and the producers knew who had won before they edited the season, I have to believe that Janet (or possibly Karishma or Dean) won since everyone else would get booed.  If, say, Elizabeth had won, no way would a lot of this had aired.

Survivor has had unpleasant winners before, so it is also possible they didn’t realize how strong the backlash to Missy and Elizabeth would be. They may have expected Dan to get most of the hate.

  7. Caelyn was more into Blake then he was her, and she thought by playing the casual sex cool girl she could keep his interest. I am sure she expected them to be the “it” couple on paradise and changed her mental narrative when it didn’t go as planned.

Is the final season feel rushed? Yes. Is the writing flawed? Yes. But you can’t convince me this is about the quality of writing. It’s about fans who aren’t getting the ending they wanted.

One could also argue the defenders are fans (mainly Dany haters) who ARE getting what they want.

I don’t think the majority is either though. There are ride or die fans of course, but most debates I have read conclude that they could have accepted the ending had it been executed properly and not such a mash job.

  9. None of this paints Jon in a very good light. He was willing to bang her, and if it wasn’t love I guess he is shallow after all. He offered her no security when she desperately needed it, and even if the aunt part grossed him out, he could have showed compassion as a caring friend, and now he will shank her and run off to be a lumberjack....  basically.

  10. I don’t have a problem with the ending itself in concept, but how they got to it. They ruined an amazing series with a rushed last season. They deserve every criticism for that. Had they agreed to more episodes, maybe they could have made this believable. They focused on special effects and ignored character development. Damage is done though. Sure some people will like it, but’s it’s legacy will be lumped in with the crap endings of Lost and Dexter.

(FWIW. Angelina seemed to confirm on twitter that she only voted for Lyrsa so that she could ask for Natalie's jacket)

If that’s true, I am so glad Natalie sensed she might be involved and didn’t give it to her!
