I think this is pure (evil) genius. Jalyn has had another season under her belt where Kelli and Judy have put her on Showgroup, and made her a group leader. I think the powers that he have recognized who “won” in the strange relationship between Jalyn and VK, and now VK has to fall in line and they’ve given Jalyn their backing and support. Just desserts!

Chandi is my favorite in both of these - she can be sharp and precise but still flirty and have the BIGGEST smile. She looks like she's having a blast!! I might be a year early but Chandi for point!!

Ashlee posted a picture of the girls flying to Oxnard - if only showgroup goes to Oxnard, then it looks like Dani and Kelee made showgroup this year!

I just watched the DCC Instagram Rookie Makeovers stories, and based on who they posted, they certain don't seem to be focusing on Diversity this year. Unless you like really white and medium white!

This current group of girls (especially the ones who went on Calendar) seem like a genuinely close knit group - crossing between rookies and Vets. And such a bonding trip for all the returning girls.
It’ll be interesting if Victoria and Lisa come back after missing a year - when is the last time a DCC took a year off and reauditioned successfully?-

This was on Taylor’s (via Kristin’s I think) IG story… if this is accurate time wise then I guess confirms Gina/Kristin/Madeline aren’t on the calendar shoot and are therefore retiring?
Ashlee, Caroline, Jalyn, Chandi, Kelsey, Kat are all in the DCC Mexico stories, so I’m assuming they are the senior vets who are returning and possibly potential group leaders?

As for keeping the braids during performances: I fully agree with your comments. While the thought of hitting some may sound ridiculous, it’s real. I have extremely thick and long hair and occasionally braid them. In the past, I sometimes had bruises on my back from my braids slamming into them. (Horse riding, just flipping or turning your head too fast, or dancing at nights.) Not to mention the extra strain it puts on the neck. So, it’s beautiful, but not ideal and comfortable at all.
I’d be more afraid of getting hit by Victoria’s wild pirouettes than Ashlee’s braids but I understand your point! 😂🤣

I remember watching one of Ashlee’s IG stories where she mentioned having to take her braids out, and then she was back to her usual DCC hair for the pink ring party. She is so stunning with the braids and it’s sad she can’t keep them while performing/appearing as a DCC.
She is a true star as you mentioned and even though I hope she comes back to become Point, I also can’t wait to see what is next for her because I also love all her New York City posts where she gets to show a bit more of her true personality. 🌟-

Agree to the above, but I could see Armani be a group leader - maybe instead of Darian. She's higher in the triangle and I could see her in future triangle/point.
But who knows - I've been surprised before!

This 100%. It’s one thing to constantly reuse the same moves in different order, but sometimes the moves don’t make sense with the music. There’s often no musicality or connection between rhythm and movement.

Jennifer's class is more technical and a better “Prep” class to make a College or Pro team but her choreography is SNOOZE.
Michelle’s classes look fun and her choreo is 🔥🔥🔥-

I never noticed or thought anything of Megan during the show. But from the two videos I've seen of her in Jen A's classes, she is a HUGE standout to me. She really pops and performs - there are moments of Holly in how she dances (moments, I said - before you all come for me!).
I really think this is one of the strongest rookie classes! Combination of great dancers, big personalities, great looks, charismatic articulate girls, etc. It's going to be a tough audition next year!

If Viktoria and/or Lisa make it back to the team, would they be considered 3rd year Vets? Meaning, they'd be a year 'less' than Chandi/Kelsey/Kat, and in the same 'year' as the Covid Bubble girls like Armani, Claire, etc?

I also saw in one of her comments that Lisa said she was going go audition again. Definitely not my favorite, and it was very telling that so few current DCC's comment on her instagram, so curious to see what happens there.

Lexie and Ashlee both posted a picture this morning with all 8 group leaders, including Caroline. Not sure what they are doing but they are all in uniform!

Interesting that neither Tyra or Kaydianna have been Sideline or Social Sweetheart. I would have guessed they were both shoo-ins, personality and looks wise. (Maybe I'm biased cuz they're my favs?)
Though it was because they are already on Showgroup, but Tori is too and she's been Sidelined Sweetheart. I know Kaydianna did an IG takeover but not sure Tyra has?

Megan was originally cut by MRS - but rescinded tonight. Megan was also cut by MJ and SD.
Christina was cut by MRS only
Kelee was cut by MRS - but rescinded. Kelee was also cut by MJ.
Ava was cut by MRS - but rescinded. She was also cut by SD.
What's interesting to me is that we have no idea who else Kitty or Jacie cut. We are missing 4 girls each for them. Same with Kellie and Judy. And we are missing some of MJ's and SDs cuts too.
I know the stickers are usually all for show and never really mean anything but it's interesting to me that so many of the choices are missing from the edit.
Who are MJ and SD?

It was the Today Show Halloween episode and Savannah and Jenna dressed up as the DCC. Apparently the costumes were made by the same woman who does them (she’s the one at the fittings but her name escapes me and they don’t say it in the article below). Also they learn a little choreography and even do a kick line with some show group members - I saw Gina, Caroline, Rachel, Ashlee and I believe Amber?
