I wouldn’t doubt that they have some decent qualities. My main problem with them is the manipulation. And as someone that has direct experience with late stage lung cancer, I’m not buying that Ami cancer scare for a second. Lung cancer is simply not something that is so neatly and conveniently taken care of, and in so timely of a fashion. For anyone doubting this, try looking up the statistics on lung cancer (I’ll save you the trouble though, by stating that they’re very poor is an understatement).

Rain won’t have any problems scoring a top notch mate. Truth be told, Birdy really isn’t bad looking either. But we live in a vain society, and that missing tooth is gonna hurt her SMV pretty bad in the dating market 😄 (I jest, but in all seriousness, I meant what I said about her looks being decent).

My uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer about the same time Ami was.   He is still alive, but barely.   Still looks like hell.  Still sick and in a lot of pain.  Wish his recovery could have been as quick and easy as hers.  I really don’t even think recovery is in his future.   I think this cancer will eventually take him out.  He’s only 63, don’t know her age.  He didn’t smoke and I think she did ( maybe still does).  She looks really healthy sitting in the camper with her 20’s flapper apparel and John Lennon shades. This whole family looks ridiculous.

  2. Oh, I forgot to mention the couples having litters of children to get a reality show and know they’re set for life. They are not special, anyone who uses fertility drugs then insists on leaving 30 eggs in the incubator to hatch ( Outdaughtered, I’m referring specifically to you ) The husband quit his job so he can capitalize on taking pictures for social media and pathetic product placement throughout the show.🙄🙄🙄

  3. Wow! Geno assumes he’s going to LA with them.  Doesn’t he have a job?  Or is it mooching off of June’s ugly, desperate ass.  I see she’s doing another lingerie shoot to show Jennifer she’s the sexiest of the two.   GAG!!!!!!!!!!  When will the gravy train stop for this family of white trash, the 30 year old teen moms, the sister wives and there scraggly haired shister of a husband, and the Lardassians?  I’m so sick of these no talent narcissists making hundreds of thousands of dollars for doing NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!

I vote for him changing his clothes that often.  He's a vain little man.

Not trying to sound mean or vindictive, but I would love to see his not having to work anymore and living off the fame of this little reality show bubble busted.  You can tell the girls are getting tired of being filmed constantly and as they get older I think they will start rebelling.  The first few episodes, the focus was money and how were they going to afford everything that 6 kids would need.   At this point, they never mention their fears about finances anymore.  I think this is because they think this gravy train is going to go on for a very long time.  I think Adam plans on spending all his time filming and exploiting these children for fame and fortune.  When they went to “ help” rebuild that family’s home I think it was all for the show.   They had to know you can’t bring 5 three year olds with you when you plan on working hard.  That little bit of painting they did which ended in a huge temper tantrum by Riley on film,  and then paying someone else to come paint the mural for the little boy wasn’t that impressive.  Doesn’t Blayke go to school? Maybe they are homeschooling her so they can go on vacations to LA to film segments for different TV shows is more important than her education.  The whole family is flying cross country now it seems at least once a month. So much for a normal life raising quints ??.   Nothing about this family is normal and relatable anymore.

Yeah that was a bit odd as the kids are over 3. I see they got a new table though and got rid of the high chairs

I feel like TLC is trying to focus more on Hazel and Riley because they seem to be more of the “fan favorites” although I don’t know why.  The others are just as cute if not cuter and I’m sure their personalities are just as interesting.  That’s why Riley was chosen to go to the drs appt.  I thought Adam was down sized from his job.  Why is he acting like he quit?  I noticed he brought that giant camera to the drs appt.  Guess he has to get shots and make his you tube videos.  I also noticed how everyone is wearing the T-shirt’s they are selling.  This show has just became too commercialized for me.  Nothing realistic at all anymore.  From all the ad placements to set up scenes, it’s just really gone down hill.

I agree @trackrat59. I fast-forwarded through much of the Hawaiian episode. I really do not care about deep conversation between Adam and Danielle, Adam and his Dad, Adam and Dale, Danielle and her sisters, blah, blah, blah. The quints are at such a cute age. I love to hear the things they say. Show us more of that, TLC, because they will be past that stage very soon.

In a few short years they will be going to real school and I’m guessing they won’t be as cute and funny as they are now.  If TLC drops them is Adam going to try and film a show with all his fancy equipment and put it on You Tube?  They are going hard with the product placement.  What was with their home alarm going off and we have to watch the whole process of him getting the call and looking to see if someone had broken in, to see it was just Dale ( always ready for his time in front of the camera).  That was basically pathetic.  The trip to Hawaii was boring as hell.  They could have saved $30,000 and gone for a weekend to a beach in Texas and filmed the same footage except the hula crap.  I read that after the Hawaii trip Adam and Danielle went on a trip by themselves to Jamaica I believe.  What a life, no worries, just constant vacations.  Damn why couldn’t I have had a bunch of babies at once and peddled them for a tv show?  My husband could have quit his job and we could have advertisers pay the bills.

Well if they wanted TLC to pay them they had to then.  Don’t worry, when they get home and filming is over, just watch, either him and Danielle, or all the adults will take an extravagant, tropical get away or a cruise somewhere normal, working class people would never be able to afford.  The kids will be at home with the nannies and Adam and Danielle will be showing off their taut, tanned, muscular, Greek god and goddess like bodies off for all of us peasants to envy.

She probably got her boobs done one of those times she was having “leg” surgery.  Or maybe when she had the tummy tuck?  The are really selling out on their IG accounts.  Danielle is pushing diet aids, T-shirt’s and popsicles.  Adam claims they aren’t being paid to advertise these things. They use them in their everyday lives and love them ?????

I thought I caught a recent back view of his hair (no cap) for a quick second.  It looked like it has been "styled" with a kind of flap* of hair (shorter hair surrounding it) to cover an early bald spot.  I'm sure we'll catch it more often.  So he probably kept on his ball cap in that scene because his hair wasn't "just perfect."

*I watch a lot of 30s movies and the actors' hair "fixes" are odd.

I saw that also, while he was in his truck once he bent over and I also saw a bald spot plain as day.  As vain as he is I’m sure it’s really a sore spot with him ( no pun intended).  I really wonder how long it will be before he gets a hair transplant.  I’m convinced Danielle had a tummy tuck or loose skin removal, no ones genes are that good.  I saw a news segment about a woman who had twins that she delivered early. They weighed a little under 5 lbs each.  She was insulted and made fun of when she posted a bikini pick after the pregnancy due to the loose skin on her abdomen.  She had 2 she delivered early.  Danielle delivered 5 early.  I just can’t believe her stomach looks that good after delivery, I don’t care how small the babies were, how much product she rubbed on her belly or how good her genes are.  The woman on the news program was a swimsuit model so her genes have to be pretty good too.  I think after the c section the dr took care of it for her.

I’m weird, but the individual birthday outings bored me to tears.  I prefer to see them interact, as a family, doing normal family things.

My God, Danielle is such a nag.  First she bitches to Adam about missing appointments and outings.  Hey Danielle, he has to work, for now, to keep your household running.  If she can take each quint on their own birthday outing, she can damn sure take them to the dentist separately.  Then when they met up with MiMi, instead of being happy, she goes on and on about how her mom must work hard to succeed....no shit Sherlock.  I hate how the sisters talk down to MiMi....like she is their child.  And no way in hell have those girls parented their mom their whole life — MiMi did an awesome job raising all 3 girls.  And I don’t blame her for not wanting to return close to the kids, if she had failed the test, after the way they talked so horribly about her while she was there helping THEM out.  Adam and Danielle were both assholes to her.  I’m sure she saw those horrible TH’s the first season.  I would have taken a long break from those ingrates as well.

Unlike some viewers, I don’t think Danielle is very pretty.....although both her sisters are very attractive.  Adam is becoming clownlike in his over buffed body.  Cool it dude....you look ridiculous.  And buy some bigger clothes.

I didn’t see a new van?  When were they driving it?

Danielle had huge man hands, am I the only one who’s noticed?  Sometimes she’s cute , then sometimes when her hair is kind of thin and straggly looking and she isn’t made up, she looks pretty rough.   They have a YouTube video of all of them going to pick out a new van. It’s a huge conversion van with leather seats, TVs for all the kids to watch, I’m sure it was very expensive.  I don’t know what was wrong with the church van.  I guess their standards are much higher now. The truck he bought sometime last year is easily a $60,000 vehicle.  I’m surprised they haven’t had a big Olympic sized pool with a waterfall and slide put in the back yard yet   Adam will start dropping hints this winter so the pool companies can start calling with offers so they can mention the company on the show.

Danielle didn't try too hard to get Parker to open her mouth for teeth cleaning.  Poor Adam probably got blamed for not being there for his precious Parker, so she had to go 6 months without a professional cleaning.  Sorry Danielle, that is too important to NOT make the kid open her mouth up.  Jesus.  Parker has become quite a little whiner.

My favorite part of the episode was the Easter bunny scaring the shit out of the kids.  Also, I'm not surprised that Hazel ate rabbit shit, that kid is just yuck.  I do not get how Danielle says that Hazel always has a smile, she is ALWAYS the one blatting about something.  The only one to cry at the doctors, and in the previews for Hawaii, there she is blatting on the beach.  Can't stand that kid.

Honey, you and me really see eye to eye where this show is concerned, especially when it comes to the red headed elephant in the room, or more like, the sunburnt albino owl (I give credit to another poster on another site for that spot on description of an ifant I’m soooo tired of seeing in the spotlight of nearly every episode of this show).  Between her, Riley and now Porker showing her ass the poor twins get pushed further and further in the background.  Maybe because they don’t have wonky eyes, fiery red hair or behavioral problems is why they aren’t TLC sweethearts, but in my opinion, they are the cutest most enjoyable part of the show, what little bit we get to see of them. Ava is very shy, but she is an absolute doll and Olivia has a mischievous personality that not enough time is spent for viewers to see.  I guess the people have spoken and Hazel is the apple of everyone’s eye.  That’s ok, because in about 12 or 13 years from now these two will be getting plenty of attention (from lovestruck guys ) and the star of the show might be the one in the background.  No worries, she’ll always be number 1 to her daddy and Uncle Dale ?.

One of the reasons I post and read here is because it's so interesting to me that we all watch the exact same show and yet end up with such vastly different perceptions of things.  Fascinating to me that you can take the same show, run it through viewers' life experiences, values, beliefs, current life circumstances, personal happiness/contentment, and so on, and come out with so many different and often vehement ideas about what we all saw on the same show(s).  (And yes, I know that sounds lame to find that intriguing, but....kind of a nerd here, lol).

For instance, Hazel really does seem pretty laid back to me, relative to her sisters, at least.  Not that she never cries/whines, but all 2 years old do so, and she seems generally good-natured to me.  I have also never understood why people think this is the "Hazel Show."  I mean, her nystagmus is a story line and well, wouldn't it be kind of weird if while talking about Hazel's eyes instead of seeing Hazel we saw say, Parker Kate and Lulu playing together during the every convo?  My perception is if you take away the focus on Hazel that has to do with her nystagmus (i.e. a big story line the producers developed), then she really isn't highlighted on the show more frequently than the others in any way that jumps out at me.  Granted, I've never timed the amount of screen time each quint gets, counted the number of times each quint's name is said, etc, but when I watch, I don't come away with the impression at all that Hazel is focused on more than the others for any reason other than her eye condition (aka "the story line").

Yes, it's true that Dale refers to Hazel as his favorite because she was the first quint he held in the NICU, but IMHO, and YMMV, I find that completely harmless.  One, it's rather normal for adults to form closer bonds to some kids in the family versus others and vice versa, some kids choose the adults with whom they feel most comfortable to attach to versus others.  Nothing hurtful or mean spirited about it, just means this person clicks with and has a special connection with this person - which is how life works!  And, further, we've also seen that Dale has a special thing with Riley Paige over her now quite well-known full on slap of him in the face.  To me, while he teases her about it, it's done with affection and is their own inside joke they share together.  And who knows what other adults/kids have special connections that we never get to see?

In my family, for example, my grandmother and I fell in love with each other the first time she held me, and we were inseparable from that moment (when I was 30 mins old, lol) until she passed last year;  she's also the person I loved and admired most in the world.  Then came my little sister and while my grandmother loved her just as much and they had a good relationship, they never clicked in the same way - and my sister went on to form close bonds with others in our family.  Same with our parents;  my daddy and I were alike in so many ways and had an instant connection, and my sister and mother similarly share tons of interests and are very close.  Not that my sister or I have ever doubted for a second that both parents loved and adored us, but for many reasons, some people just end up being closer than others.  And if not done in a malicious and hurtful manner (and I don't see anything that even comes close to resembling that on this show), it's not bad or sinister, it's just how life works, I think.

In my family, it's also one of our most frequently used running jokes (and we have many; we have a rather sarcastic sense of humor and crack ourselves up constantly lol).  For example, my little sister has 2 kids and lives near our family, and as soon as she had the first, the joke became, "Okay, fine, you win.  Finally!  Hehe.  You're the favorite now.  I can't compete with the cuteness that is my nephew (and then niece)!"  Then, a few years ago, one of our cousins who lives out of state and had 2 kids already called and announced he and his wife were having identical twins.  My sister immediately called me and said, "Quick!!!  We have a crisis here, and I need your opinion right now.  Which wins favorite?  2 kids that are local and come to visit every other weekend, or 4 kids (two of whom are identical twins) but who live about a 5 hour drive away????"  Before I could even answer, she sighed dramatically and said all fake forlornly, "Nevermind.....I already know the answer.  Of course twins are going to push our cousin into favorite position.  It doesn't matter if they live on Mars.  Four kids, and two of them are identical twins!  Seriously, though??  Twins??  Really?  I did not authorize that!  But oh well, I guess I've had a good run as favorite...."  And then we both laughed until we were practically snorting, and immediately added that story to the list of jokes we'd tell at every family get together.  Because, if we were going to laugh until we oh-so-unattractively were snorting, so was everybody else in the family lol - and they did.  ;-)

I’ve noticed ever since she was small that Adam gave much more attention to her, especially when he was filming.  It’s like he always had to single her out and baby talk to her while the others just sat there getting hardly any attention.   It always pissed me off and made me actually not like a baby because I felt sorry for the other ones.  When I see Dale give her extra treats or let her have more turns than the others get it just gripes my ass.  I know it’s weird but I kind of want give all the other quints attention and ignore her.  ??

  13. I think they’ve had a taste of the good life and want it to continue it as long as possible.  Both parents refer to themselves as “stars” of the hit show Outdaughtered on their Instagram Accounts. Adam was the only one with that reference, but I see Danielle has it on hers now.  Uncle Dale probably has it on his too.  No one can even give constructive criticism on their IG or Facebook pages without being totally reamed out by the Outdaughtered groupies who are zealots over this family.  I think Adam goes in and deletes any comments he finds negative, and if he doesn’t get to them their ass kissers will take care of it.  This is about the only place you can go and give an honest opinion of what you think.  I wonder if they traded in the van the church gave them for the new luxury van?  I feel like they should have given the van back to the church since I’m sure they probably got a big discount at the dealership, hell, TLC might have bought the van for them.

I so agree with you.  Why don’t they just call the show Hazel and her Sisters?  Pretty soon the other girls will be able to see how the adoration is heaped on Hazel and they are just props.  In my opinion they will have their day when they are older.  It’s sad, but Hazel isn’t going to be a beauty queen.  Her sisters are so much prettier than her.  I guess her having a good personality will be her best bet for the future. ?

I totally agree with you. This attention has really gone to his head.  I also think he sees Hazel as the quint who gets the most attention ( I guess because of her basically non existent medical issues and has latched on to her as his sidekick).  Maybe when the show is over He can take Hazel to Walmart to have people pay for his autograph like the Lizard Lick losers do.

Yes - this episode re-ran a few weeks ago - before we saw the "Cajun Christmas" episode. Seeing the tears of joy from the great-grandfather ,who was in an assisted living facility, just melted my heart. Later in the same episode they had an extended family picnic which included the both family sides of the father (the dad Ethan).  Yes - the Jones had their hands full but it was all worth it - esp when then did the big family picture at the end. Being near extended family has built in helpers - everyone had a tot to hold / play with. It was not major holiday - just a date on the calendar when the Jones said - lets do this.

This is why I don't understand why the "Cajun Christmas" foolery. 3 hrs in the car for a couple of days isn't that big of a deal. What aging relation is going to pass up seeing their lineage? Life is too short. Why not make the effort, for their sake? The Busby's go on too many pleasure trips - like like they did when it was just the 2 of them or the 3 of them. Now, I guess the season finale is Hawaii. Aside from the scenery - I would have preferred to see them travel to "Cajun Mari Gras" (assemble the same people - for a different date)

When you follow their personal Instagram accounts you’ll see they take MANY expensive , exotic vacations during the year.  Some are with the kids ( the ones that are filmed) but most are just them as a couple or with friends and Danielle’s sisters and their husbands.  They have a pretty jet setting life to have that many kids.

The video is confusing, as there's no direct explanation in the video itself.  But, the title provides the explanation that the video is a comparison of the past TWO Christmas mornings.  The video starts out with what must have been Christmas morning 2016, then goes to Christmas morning 2017 (which IS what we saw on the show), and then continues to switch back and forth between the two Christmas mornings.

That being said, it's the norm for most of what is seen on reality tv to be re-creations;  I'm not sure if anybody these days thinks "reality" tv is actually reality?  If you think about it, by and large, it's not really practical to capture most things as they happen organically, as that would require having cameras in peoples' faces 24/7, basically.  Big, one time events, such as Christmas morning, might be easier to capture in real time...but that's also kind of invasive, imo, and I completely understand why people would prefer to re-create the event either before or after and have the actual event be a private, family moment.

Well, I feel like if you sign up to be featured on a reality show then you’re going to have to have some inconveniences, taking the good with the bad so the show can be as realistic as possible. Your making plenty of money for your fans to see what goes on day to day in your lives.  I can’t speak for anyone else, but I’m not interested in a made up version of their lives.  If this is the case, put a disclaimer at the beginning so people can decide if they really want to watch a fictional reality show.

So I checked youtube and the Busby's posted a Christmas morning video there.  It is not the Christmas Morning we saw on last nights show.

Im guessing the episode we saw last night was filmed earlier or later - hence NO Cajun Christmas because it was not Christmas Day.  Could have been prior to Christmas when they traveled to Lake Charles.

Also, didn't they think we would catch the fact that they supposedly left their house at 3pm for a 3 hour drive (6 pm) arrival at Adams parents house but, right away they were putting the girls to bed?  No dinner on Christmas Day?  What?  come on.

Did the Busby's have a private recital for filming?  Nearly all of the chairs were empty.  Also, does Adam have a family?
