  1. This ought to be a good one. I recall either Danielle or Adam saying they might move again one day. Can't recall where they said it. So, I wonder if this AC thing is just an excuse to move to an even bigger and "better" home. They've become so full of themselves it's sad. Danielle is constantly selling something and Adam thinks he's a TV star. I can see how this happens, we've seen it before but I was hoping these two would fair better with the fame.
  2. Will and Zoey are adorable and I could watch them for hours. Will might be a slower learner than some but his heart is bigger than most. That will serve him well throughout life. Zoey is so stinkin' cute and determined, she'll do just fine too. Jen and Bill are great parents and no parents are perfect. The fact that both Will and Zoey have easily adjusted to their new home in St. Pete says a lot. I recall Jen saying that they are both enjoying school and making new friends. What more can you ask for from two kids? I think this is a cool family and their extended family is wonderful too. (I love Jen's mom) I'm in the process of moving to the St. Pete area and I think they're about 15 minutes from my new home. If I ever run into them I would never say a word to them or bother them but I'll be smiling from ear to ear if I get an actual live peak at Will and/or Zoey from a close distance.
  3. I can throw a concept out that might answer this question. We've all heard this statement before. Nothing about us disagreeing with it or believing the idea but you can't deny it's out there. I think it's the "Dumbing Down of America" concept. It's the idea of us believing anything the media throws out at us. My favorite example is the Danielle might be pregnant episode. Really TLC??? I've mentioned this before in another post. The woman could not get pregnant on her own and Adam had a vasectomy. I have just as much chance of getting pregnant as Danielle and I'm 62 and have not had 'any eggs floating around' for years. (trying to say this politely) All I want to see are the quints. WTF???????? I've had it with this show. Now they have Aunt Kiki shoving products down our throats. I really like these people and I want to continue to like them so I'm tuning out. All on the backs of Ave, Lulu, Hazel, RiRi and PK who we've all come to adore. God bless the quints and please keep them safe. They will remain in my prayers always.
  4. Regarding my comment about Cobra. Some of you mentioned, and you are correct, that they will have to pay for COBRA coverage. But consider that he went through a lay off. Often times a company will pay for your Cobra coverage for a specific period of time. That happened to me. My company paid my full Cobra cost for a specific period of time. Also, don't forget they make between $25,000 - $40,000 an episode. That's a lot toward paying for Cobra for any size family for 18 months. I guess what I'm trying to say is I wouldn't worry about them not being able to pay for Cobra. If you noticed during their Adam wants to quit conversations, they mention that Adam is the sole bread winner and the cycle studio is doing well. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? First off they never mentioned the $25,000-$40,000 per episode. I just counted. They have produced 37 episodes so far. At the low end of $25,000 an episode, that's a whopping $925,000. And, has anyone counted just how many products the Busby's are getting paid to endorse? If you follow them on social media it's become one commercial after another. And yes, Adam has his shirt off at every possible opportunity. It' become a circus.
  5. Ok, I just watched the Hawaii episode. Couple of things. I don't know where I read it but a few savvy fans did some research and found out that the company that Nick, Dale, and Adam work for was sold and it merged into the company that bought them. Evidently the new company kept Nick (duh), and laid off Dale and Adam. Apparently Dale has already found a new job. So, that entire story line about Adam was all made up by TLC. I think TLC have collectively lost their minds. Side note - don't forget TLC tried to sell us on the idea that Danielle might be pregnant because Adam missed the follow up from his vasectomy. Really??? How is this possible when Danielle couldn't get pregnant on her own plus Adam had a vasectomy? I'm so pissed because this show now really sucks. Thanks a lot TLC. I just want to see the quints for gosh sake. I like the entire extended family a lot but I don't tune in to watch them. I tune in to watch the quints. Period. We went from the quints getting most of the air time to following the adventures of Adam and Mimi, more or less. Another great show bites the TLC dust. PS...Since Adam was laid off he's entitled to health coverage from his former employer for up to 18 months. It's the law.
  6. In honor of it being Tuesday, I'm going to leave my .02cents. Mimi is a head shaker, no doubt. From what I can see, Mimi has managed to raise 3 amazing daughters, perhaps/guessing mostly on her own. Uh, the daughters are nothing like their mother. I believe that Mimi loves attention and drama. Disclaimer....I do like Mimi but come on, she's a trip. To me Danielle grows more beautiful as time passes. She's clearly super mom and God did good placing those amazing little girls in Danielle's hands. Just one thing. The big, over sized bows are killing me. (Yes I know the big bows are a thing) Adam. He's a super hero amazing dad. I love watching him interact with the girls individually. In a few clips you can see the love that beams from Adam's eyes towards those girls and it truly warms your heart. I wish he would change his hair style. On social media, yes Adam we know your buff already, cut it out. Put on a shirt first if you're going to walk around for 10 minutes in front of your selfie stick. Hazel & Riley. Riley & Hazel. Either way you slice it, these two little darlings are clearly the quint front runners in popularity with the public. I don't believe this point can be argued. Now here's my theory. The TLC editing people are not stupid. Hazel & Riley are by far the most animated quints in front of a camera. They are little super starts in their own right. So, we see more air time for Hazel & Riley. If you don't believe this theory, spend hours on end watching the quints 2018 Youtube clips. Ava, Olivia & Parker are extra special, adorable little ladies. Disclaimer...the twins have always been my favorites and I do love all the quints. When Ava and Olivia are on, I'm usually trying to figure out which one is which if it was not pointed out. I love watching them. They remind me of mini Mimi's. They are so lucky to be twinkies with each other and I adore them. I love that Ava is the mommy's girl and the lower keyed of the twins. She seems like a tender little soul. Then there's our crazy Lulu who always makes us laugh. She cracks me up when she goes up against Riley. Lulu has the makings of a super tomboy. You rock Lulu!! Then last quint born....PK!!!! Parker is the unique quint in my eye. Parker is not the happiest with a camera in her face. She seems unsure of the world around her at times. Nothing wrong with any of this. I love that she's the daddy's girl. I'm thinking Parker could be a runway model one day. She's tall and her little face at times goes from cute to stunning and I think to myself......OMG when she grows up! Blayke. She's an amazing big sister and clearly adores her little sisters. She's just a child herself. How could she not have maybe a little issue here or there because she went from an only child getting tons of attention from her parents to being the big sister of the Texas all girl quints that now have their own show? Just saying. Crystal & Dale. I asked them once on Instagram if they would adopt me and they politely wrote back and told me that they have a waiting list. Kenzie and Bronson are so stinkin' cute. Ashley & Nick. They clearly lead extremely busy and successful lives. We don't see them as much on the show and that makes sense. Charlie and Lilly are adorable too. Matter of fact I love all the kids on this show. What a blessing that these cousins have each other and live so close.
  7. I've always loved watching Outdaughtered but the last few episodes have been too staged. I really just want to see the quints do their thing. They're all so adorable and it's been a pleasure watching them grow up and seeing all the changes they've gone through. All the quints are special in their own ways. I'm really disappointed with the last episode. No way in hell Danielle was pregnant. We know for a fact that Danielle had issues getting pregnant on her own. Then Adam having a vasectomy. What were they thinking running a story line like that? I would have rather watched 20 minutes of the quints playing in their play room. I do like Adam and Danielle and the sisters and uncles and Mimi and so on. But, regarding Adam, it does seem like all of this has gone to his head. I don't see that at all in Danielle or anyone else for that matter. It just seems like we went from this being all about the quints to now some sort of big Outdaughtered money machine. Now Danielle and Adam are usually selling something and I get why but it sucks for us viewers who just want to watch the quints. And yes Blayke is adorable and she's a great big sister but there would be no show without the quints. Period. And to the person that pointed out that the hair bows on Blayke are WAY TOO BIG, thank you!! I thought it was just me.
  8. Too much adult drama on the show now. It's taking away time from the Quints which is why I tune in to watch in the first place. Not enjoying the show as much. :(
  9. Well said. We want to see the babies. That's it. Enough of all the adult drama. Less Mimi.
  10. I really like this show and I'm rooting for Danielle and Adam. To me they seem like pretty cool people. I like her sisters and brother in laws also. Yes, Dale is a trip. I like Nick a lot too. (Ashley's husband). All in all I hope the show continues and that we don't see any relationships go south. The only thing I see as a potential catastrophe is Mimi. I really liked her at first but I've come to think she's a real mess. I've noticed a bunch of red flags with her and I see by reading other comments that many others see the red flags too. I never had kids so I'm no expert on those topics but I did spend 37 years in my career as a human resources director with tons of experience hiring all types of professions. Mimi doesn't add up based on what we've been told and what makes practical sense. The quints preschool seems very progressive. I like Randi, I believe she's the owner of the preschool. I could tell even before Mimi interviewed for the job that it was not going to work out in the long run. It was no where near a good fit. Mimi is not a good fit for any type of progressive educational environment. When she came home after the first day of work you could tell for sure the job was not going to last. Danielle asked how it went and Mimi, of course, complained. She made comments about how there's so much to learn and it's a lot and she's tired and so on and so on. Danielle had a look on her face after Mimi made those comments. You could just tell that Danielle knew it wasn't likely going to last and it's just another adventure in her life dealing with her mother. Mimi comes across as more of a babysitter type than an "educator". I also felt bad for Danielle for putting in a good word with Randi at the preschool. I've seen this happen numerous times. Adam also made a comment about not having to pay Mimi's "bill" like the last time. Something like that so I don't think this is the first time those brother in laws have financially assisted Mimi. Mimi's thing is to complain all the time and draw attention to herself. She's an absolute mess. I almost don't want to watch the show any longer due to Mimi. Regarding Hazel. I recall Danielle saying she has the best vocabulary of all the quints. Watching the episodes a few times it does appear that Hazel has the best vocabulary. I worried about her too prior to her eye surgery. She just didn't look right and I thought she might have developmental issues. My perception was that after her surgery she carried herself in a way where I thought perhaps that there were no developmental issues and it was just the way she carried herself do to her eye issue. I do see that her right eye is a problem again. I think that Hazel will be the smartest one of the quints. Just a hunch.
