Is there any special significance to the misspelled "Brown" on "The Billy Bown Memorial Hour"?

I did not even notice that.... Just a typo, and I try so hard to get it right haha

Thanks for pointing that out and it has now been corrected ! I need an editor and spellchecker !!!

Heyyy, you left Railing Kill and started your own website, didn't you?

RK decided to exit the recap business after some issues... They were very helpful letting me use their website and I was sorry to see them go. I had to put together this new site and write the recap at the same time, probably why I couldn't spell things right !

All the old recaps are archived someplace, maybe I can retrieve them and post, but for now it is just the new stuff, the only thing that stays the same is change....

Lol at Gabe's made up face on the poster.

Sometimes making the opening poster takes a lot of thought and work. With Gabe and the makeup it truly made me chuckle as I did it, which doesn't happen a lot. Haha... Always glad when someone notices the little nuances (like the penguin who is always showing up, or the woodpecker on Bird's head in other posters), that just makes my day... Thanks my friend !

Does anyone know where this group is actually living?

I always assumed they crawled out from under a rock, in the bottom of a scum pond, deep in the dark haunted forest of demons and goblins, but I may be mistaken....

    Or possibly Wichita ? IDK.....

"So you guys are miners?" "No sir, we're over the age of 18!" Lol.

I decided to put every stupid joke in this recap because there wasn't a lot to cover. I liked the ones about the fake tools, I heard every one of them at least once at work and from friends in the military.

I also got some creepy vibes from Rain riding in the truck with Bobby.  Not because I thought it was actually inappropriate, I just think society programs us to think this way.  Part of the attack on males

You may be on to something here, for some reason it just felt creepy to me. Maybe because I have girls of my own and wouldn't want them in this situation.

    just...creepy....

I don't recall it ever being that way on the closed captions before.  I'm sure I would have noticed it, because it seemed so odd, it really jumped out at me.  They may well have been saying "Da" all this time, but with the weird way they talk I didn't really notice it.

I noticed it on the CC a few times a few seasons back and wondered why they all of the sudden started calling Billy 'Da'... I just chalked it up to the way they did other things, saying 'More' instead of hello or goodbye, the group howls, the secret sign language that lasted a few episodes, the obsolete inventions that really weren't necessary... Anything to prove to the world at large that they were different and unique and 'watch us as we live a better life off the grid in the bush' instead of like the other 370 million people in America. Just a bunch of loons...

It certainly is a gift you have to be able to make humorous recaps when given nothing to work with! Theres nothing I love more than sarcastic humor

Thanks SassyCat... I was raised on Monty Python, M*A*S*H, Mystery Science Theater 3000 so I had a good education in the art of snark, satire and sarcastic humor. Anyway, I find it easy to rip this show apart, glad you enjoy it !

Says something about you, I bet!  Welcome back, I figured you had left for good.  I tried to send you some views while you were gone lol.

Thanks rmontro, I've always enjoyed your insights also. That scene with the sugarcube just automatically clicked with every hippie trippin hallucinogenic movie I've ever seen, or maybe something a little more personal, let's leave it at that... lol

He got one thing wrong though, I think that poor horse Prometheus, that Noah had, was gorgeous. Not an old plug, glue factory reject. I’m no horse expert, but that was one beauty.

You are right, it is a very nice horse in the episode... but just for the sake of the recap, the satire and snarkiness, I make it seem that Noah's idea of a magnificent war horse, is in reality a leftover from a pony ride at a county fair. So naturally I Googled every slang word for a horse that had seen better days, and came up with those... haha

    Oh I needed that laugh!

Every now and then I write something, or think of something, that actually makes me laugh out loud, this is one of those. That, and the meme of the dead deer yelling at Bird that she shot him and to call 911... priceless... and Noah feeding Gabe the sugar cube laced with LSD, honestly, the first thing I thought of when I saw that, Window Pane acid...

Thanks for the nice comments, glad you enjoy the recaps...

Did Noah trade that?  I thought it was in the shop when Noah picked up that farm truck.  Are they trying to suggest the junk dealer took that in trade sight unseen?  Maybe he was so glad to get rid of that busted up farm truck he figured he couldn't lose.  I guess it could be a different Suburban, but it's more likely it was a plot hole.

When he went to the junkyard looking for a vehicle, what I heard was that he would accept a trade (didn't actually say the Suburban) and offered his brothers as labor also. The one in the shop that was mentioned earlier in the show, it was his white pickup that he drives around. That's why he was driving the Suburban. Rhain specifically said his pickup was in the shop for maintenance...

I watch the show carefully for little hints and nuances, I don't want to make mistakes. Often in the show, some of the stuff is hard to follow, I was a little confused as to what he was trading in. In the next episode after the trade he was driving the white pick up again, so I figured it was the Suburban that he traded.

Of course, all this is just written for the show, none of it really happens, so it is anyones guess what truly went on.

Another comment from a facebook page said that the Suburban mentioned in the fire escape episode was a newer Suburban, I never actually saw the new one as I didn't plan to recap that part of the show for the fact that making light of wild fires that cause enormous damage isn't really something to make fun of.

In the end I imagine it was a plot hole, and in the rush to make it seem like high drama it may have just slipped out. And in the end, I really couldn't care less about what vehicles they do or do not own....LOL

Rain also complained that the Suburban wouldn't start during the fire.  The same Suburban that was in town for repairs a few weeks ago, the same Suburban that even Noah couldn't keep running.

The same Suburban that was traded for the black 'Farm Truck' two weeks ago...uh huh...

Oddly enough, I'm pretty sure that wasn't the first Alaskan Bush People Hitler video I've seen.

That is one I made a long time ago, there are plenty of 'Hitler reacts' videos out there on youtube, most are pretty funny. Just search youtube for 'Hitler reacts', and you will spend 5 hours laughing...

You pointed out Gabe saying that "Asha" wouldn't like them wearing shoes on the floor.  After reading that, I had to go back and check it out myself.  Who the heck is Asha?  The construction foreman maybe?  Billy's cult leader name?

Someone on a FB page mentioned he probably meat OSHA.

A lot of the stuff in your recaps are things I find myself thinking.

It makes my brain hurt... lol

It seems like they go out of their way to mystify their audience, or they think that we are so stupid we won't notice. Maybe that is why I write these every week, just to think out loud and wonder....
