  2. stuck with this show all the way just for lockjaw and was hoping for a big reveal of black bolts power "bolt has hulk stopping power" but just got a crumbled wall.this show has ruined any chance of a better inhumans show or movie which is too bad it deserved a better treatment

  3. it's like the writers realised half way thru ep. 7 that they only had one more episode to wrap this story up.out of the blue half the lead characters outlook and personalities change to tie up loose ends.this show could have been so good

I thought this was such a slow and boring episode.  Where's all the action?  And not just the one minute of stick fighting, I mean actual comic book action.

So much of this episode was devoted to Karnak and I found it mind numbingly dull.  I don't really need to watch Innocent Virgin Discovering the World and Himself.

I want to see more powers.  In this episode, we saw Locus ping once, Lockjaw teleport once, and Auran heal herself.  That's it.  Must have blown all the budget.  The Crystal in this show must be fairly weak, because the Crystal in the comics is a powerful elemental.  If she's looking for her family, why not give them a sign?   Why not make a beacon of fire in the hopes that one of her family will recognise her power?  Why not use her air manipulation to fly or leviti think ate?

I believe the dead guy on the table next to Auran was the guy with the lizard tongue that spit insects?  Or the other guy that got shot in the fight with Gorgon, the guy with electrical powers.

I hope they find Triton.  Again, why can't Crystal use her water powers to help?

every shot of the ocean i expect triton to appear but i think they blew the budget already and can't afford the green facepaint.

  5. really, really trying to give this show a chance love the inhumans in the comics but this show so far is just a waste of time.no fx budget to speak of so they just throw in some gunfights and a storyline that really hasn't progressed much from episode 1.the thing that drives me crazy is how the show has reversed the basic inhuman story the royal family is portrayed as elitest slave owners and maximus the mad is shown in a sympathetic light.this show could have been so much more

You know, after I saw the brothers on the "Tales from the Island" segment I realized that they were responding to the extreme situation by regressing into childhood bickering because they're not like that at all under normal circumstances.  I actually think that they were engaging in coping behavior as a way to "stay sane" when under extreme mental and physical stress.  Plus as Pete mentioned, the effects of the starvation made him more irritable and not himself.  I think the bros. were just being generally "hangry" and regressed into former versions of themselves to the extreme.  Obviously this phenomenon affects some people more than others since Brooke and Dave seemed remarkably normal despite the difficult circumstances.  So I'm actually now entering the "acceptance" phase of Kubler-Ross "death stages" about the ginger brothers winning (thanks to whoever mentioned that upthread as I was LOL).

and the type of edit the show gave them, each season a person gets an edit for viewers to dislike him or her for ratings.it was noticable during the after show when the brothers are seen in a new light

  7. seems like a huge waste of energy by brooke and dave to build the cabin when the first shelter was perfect, all that time could have gone to fishing and food search

    First... i can't un-see the duck's releasing of it's bowels....ugh.

Second... Jim Baird (the hiking red head) has my mad respect.  Hiking that mountain at the end after 9 days with basically no food, carrying a massive pack, fighting back at cougars.... I could completely feel him in that last push when he was talking to himself..."Cmon, you can do this!".   I was very relieved to hear him call out for his brother after we were led to believe he might have nowhere to go at the last commercial break before that.

I'd like to offer a possible explanation for why his brother hadn't built out the shelter before he got there..   The place he was camped might have simply not been where he though they should stay long-term.  I figured that if you assumed you'd hunt around for a better place to call home when your partner showed up, how much work would you want to put into your "temporary" home, only to have to tear it down to find another?  In addition, if you're waiting for the hiker and decide to bail on the dropoff point and go find a better place, there's no way for your partner to know where to go to find you.   All he has is a compass and a direction...you had BETTER be there when he finally shows up!

Also...i hope their crab trap pays off.  Every "Alaska crab fisher" show has them hanging the bait from the top of the cage...EVERY one.  I think that's why they made a big deal of the argument between the brothers on this topic.

Lastly....I keep having to wonder about the condition of the "camp" areas each pair is assigned.  Brooke has an open meadow, easy fishing in a relatively calm ocean....same for Sam and his dad.  Meanwhile the LA/MS boys have swirling waves among rocks to fish in and the Baird boys area seems devoid of food (after that first day).

    Still love the show!

I've noticed that too on past seasons, some drop points are almost family campgrounds while others are barren wastelands.think each one should be the same

So here's my thing. I do believe Megan misheard, and while I personally like the people who are fans, and know who  past houseguests are, it's not a requirement, so I can't put Megan not knowing who Pao Pao was on her.  But I DO put Jessica not fessing up to the fact that she refers to Alex as Pao Pao on her. Because that could have cleared everything up. And it clearly wasn't a one-off, so it wasn't just Jessica not realizing she said that. And it clearly wasn't a compliment on Jessica's part, and while I am in no way calling her a racist, it's not a good look.  No, Jessica knew what she was doing, and let Megan hang. I'm a bit disappointed in Alex not listening more to Megan, but it is week one, Megan was Public enemy #1 and Alex was not ready to commit.

As for the rest of it? Meh, of course Paul was going to get three weeks safety. And Cody is so creepy.

started out liking megan but she got caught playing one side against the other, her gameplay was based on her "interrogation skills" and it backfired

Neanderthal-foreheaded Cody talking about how Jessica is wrapping herself in freedom made me want to puke. I have a gut feeling that if said woman in said garment were overweight or part of the "outcasts", he'd be sneeringly disgusted at how disrespectful it is. I hate that dead-eyed POS.

Mark's giving Josh a whopping serving of humility and perspective was wicked poignant. I kinda like that giant teddy bear. Except that he seems unilaterally smitten with freakishly-augmented-lip girl.

Pao Pao = panda? This is what you get when someone's a recruit and doesn't know their BB history. (Jury's still out on whether Hootie McBooberson equating one Asian-American woman with another is still a bit racist.)

Who wants to bet that as Paul announced his choice of orange, Alison Grodner was behind the HN wall, slipping the green disc into that spike?

Thought I'd dislike Kevin from his first ep weirdness, but I'm diggin' the guy a lot. The Temptations? Mojos? BWAH!! So far I'm pro-Mark, Christmas, and Kevin. If Ramses can contain his twee-ness and Dom her religiosity, I might also be on board with those two.

I still don't like Cody and think he'll become problematic later. Also his definition of outsiders = anyone not conventionally attractive.

Josh looks like Sanders Kennedy. He's gonna be one of those who creates drama over stupid shit.

    cody thinks attractiveness = trustworthy

I really like Jesse and Shannon and now it looks like Shannon's seriously injured.  I hope his leg isn't broken.  I'm afraid he may be the stretcher case we saw in a preview last week.

Brooke has real skills.  So far, I like her and her husband both.

I still don't understand where the hikers' cameras are.  There were more shots taken from the side as they walked along.  When one of them was putting mushrooms in his bag, the camera showed him full face and using both hands so he wasn't holding it out.   And there was one shot of Jesse hiking along the rocky area that showed him from a long distance.  He couldn't have been holding that camera in any way.  It doesn't seem probable that production has planted cameras on trees along the way in hopes the hikers will pass by so I can't figure it out.

hiker places cam then backtracks and footage is edited, saw that on behind the scenes of "survivorman"

Why no one was shouting "PIVOT! PIVOT! PIVOT!" while maneuvering those ladders up the stairs is beyond me. Matt's pitiful little "pivot" does not count as he was clearly not channeling his inner Ross.

Man, leg 2 was brutal. "Now she's having twins." Snerk. I was cracking up. I don't care that he lost his shit with her. It's been a long time coming. I wouldn't have made it an hour in her company in any leg without blowing up.

all I could picture was ross screaming PIVOT

Good episode. The sfx when Sara meets white canary was so bad. Worst split screening ever. White canary was looking way to her left so Sara looked like she was taking to her right ear. I am surprised Sara didn't want to kiss herself, I mean what she doesn't find herself hot too?

The Ray and Nate coitus interruptus was really starting to bug me until Ray revealed he was doing it on purpose. I like that he explained Amaya's destiny to Nate. Jax really has come into his own on this show. His is the best character progression I think for this series. Seeing the actress who voices Gideon was awesome.

This show and Timeless really are covering the same plot lines aren't they.

enjoy both shows but they both rehash dr. who episodes
