I demand you make my salad vegan and gluten and soy free! She is a lot. I hope she's good at hair and makeup, because that word salad of BS that she spewed out about channeling the universe is not going to pay the bills.
Dannielle (two N) continues to let Ick be Ick. Ick in a tight tank top; be still my churning stomach. Everything about him is repulsive. I am 100% certain that the wind that passed through the holy garage was Ick passing gas. I did feel joy that he was yet again stood up. I really wish they would keep their children out of this mess.
I am so glad Danielle (one N) left. The others bemoaning that she didn't discuss it with her is disingenuous. She stated repeatedly that she was not on board with them adding another "wife" asap and she was not comfortable with the idea of being expected to marry that wife. With four of them in the big bed, I don't know what happens if you need the bathroom at night. With five, that's one big sheet entangling mess.

I feel the need to share this important wisdom we received from Garrick in this episode:

Dannielle's face was priceless during his explanation. Did anyone have the Holy Ghost is sperm on their bingo card for this season? Does Roberta have Garrick's DNA in her brain? I always thought when the church spoke about Christ's love, it was non-sexual. So glad Garrick explained this to us. He really outdid himself with this.

Dammit. I liked Blood Boots. Mama is so cool and composed going right into the lion's den. they could not break her. It does crack me up when they refer to her as an old woman. She's 61 and could kick their asses. She's not exactly an invalid. I know a lot of it is respect for elders. It's just funny when she in no way seems old.
That was a great way to get her out of there. Leave in a crowd that they will not do anything to.
Alexis and Charles are so messy. She is playing him, but not, but is . . . . She does seem to like him and he is so much more human around her. However, she's a DA and he's a criminal.
This show does the little touches well. The baked goods, the focus on the lipton tea bags, etc. They establish the standards of the culture and the changes in the US.

That was a great reveal at the spa having the henchmen come up from the tubs. They did a wonderful job of continuing the issue of Bruce's limited knowledge of Chinese impacting his ability to help / understand what is going on.
Charles is a weirdly honorable sociopath.

I enjoyed Bruce doing improv of a T-rex and Charles explaining he was doing improv with the other guy commenting, "He's not very good." That fight was really fun, especially when they showed it from the birthday party with none of the kids noticing.
We're starting to get some ideas of the boys' early relationship. They were separated when Bruce was very young. Charles has to resent that Bruce did not have to grow up in the triad.

There is a lot of suspension of disbelief as they build this world, but the quality of the show makes up for it for me. The comedy is spot on. I'm not much of a martial arts show fan. However, because of the often comedic elements, I find this enjoyable. The brothers are so different and have led such different lives.

This episode was all about children in these tragedies. Poor Manhattan Barbie. Mike and Juju are going to make their lives all about this little one. Which is a way of saying we are tired of pretending to care about our other children.
Then Sarah and Shawn move with kids to a burnt out house. They have 8 acres and no services. Who needs indoor plumbing?
And Tayler's girls put out there that they have been through this too many times before. I did love the oldest one asking Chance if he was staying with his boyfriend. That child is no fool. She sees so much more than Tayler.
