  1. Please don't do another season with these horrible women.  I even feel like Jenna doesn't have anything else to offer that I'm interested in.   I thought Ubah was going to be the only one I wanted to see in another season, but after the last episode, I'm done with her also.   As far as Sai, I just don't care; I really don't.  You're an influencer.  Big deal.  You had a horrible childhood.  Boo-hoo.   Brynn, honey, you're just gross with your sexual act.  Erin, everyone who has already commented has said what I want to say about her.  Geez, Andy, you really messed this one up.  Give me Ramona, Luann, Sonya and, yes, even drunk Dorinda again.

  2. A few thoughts:

    1) Tiffany's hair had to be one of the worst I've seen on this show, color and style.

    2) Ladies- please, enough already with the messy hair buns or up-dos or whatever you call it.   I thought it was just a Southern thing on a Saturday at the mall or Walmart,  but apparently not.   It's not a good look on any woman, and especially not if you're chubby or morbidly obese.  I bet there's not one guy out there who thinks you look cute.

    3)  I really can't stand that Cody guy.  I have to hit the mute button when the commercial comes on.

  3. I wonder why Mom or any of Robert's other family didn't come for Robert's surgery.   For someone his size, the risks are tremendous, yet there Kathryn sat by herself in the waiting room.

And I don't understand why, in 13 years, they had not gotten married before if there was so much love there.  Maybe I just hate it when people say, oh, we're getting married when this happens or that happens. I know it was said he wanted to walk her down the aisle.  Well, he was mobile for at least the first 10 years, right?   I just don't get it.  Well, yeah, I do.

This episode was one of the saddest, but I'm not as sympathetic as most (here and on other comment boards or FB comments).

@dbell1 this was posted on Reddit about Robert, do you know if there is any truth to it? I don’t think there is I think someone just wants 15 minutes of fame

I don't know about this.  They wouldn't accept him if he was over 700 pounds?  Come on now.    No way did he only weigh in the 600's in the beginning.  No way.  You could definitely see the drop in weight when they had him up walking.   They took his mother to the morgue?  Come on now.  Covered in blood?  What?  Do you even know what an embolism is?  I call BS.

    Robert died because of Robert.

  5. I'm very happy for Chad, and it was so nice to see just a nice family with a non-enabling spouse/partner/parent.   That's how you do it.  Chad is one of the nicest males we've seen.  Loved the pictures.  I know some commenters were bothered by him taking the kids and wife on the road, but I really didn't see any dissatisfaction from them.  They probably have not traveled much, if at all, so they probably enjoyed it.  The kids will probably always remember the summer they went on the road with Dad.  I guess it depends on what their summer would have been like otherwise.  Looked like an adventure to me.   I think Chad's a good father and I do see long-term success for him.  But I really hope he thinks long and hard about getting any more skin removal.  Those were some rough-looking stitches.  To me, they didn't look healed enough to put him back in the truck.   I'm not a doctor, but still.... yikes!

As for Teretha, at least she was getting up and walking "some" at the end.  I'll give her that.  It took too long to get her there, but at least she's doing it now. I hope she keeps it up.

This episode was entirely too long.  I actually had to record the last 20 minutes and I fast-forwarded through 7 minutes of commercials on one break.  Ridiculous.

Can't wait for Nikki next week.  She was one of my favorites.  If you've never seen her original episode, which I think was the first episode last season,  you should watch before next week.  I've held back looking her up on Facebook afraid she might have gained again.  So I'm really hopeful.  It looks like she gets the full two hours to herself, so we'll see.

  6. I'm not going to try to diagnose Sean's mom, but just from what aired in his two episodes, this is what we know:

From a senior in high school, at 400 pounds, he gained another 500-600 pounds over the next eight years living with mom.

After his fall, why couldn't he go to school in a wheelchair?   Crutches?  I guarantee no orthopedist would say to keep him bedbound.  Was there more to this story than a fall?   (speculation - was there an issue with Sean's mom and the school?)

Why didn't mom home-school him or get his assignments or tests to be able to complete his senior year so he would at least have the diploma that most employers want to see.  Or he could have done the GED then.  Why hasn't he in all these years?   Why, Mom??

Why is he on 30 different meds that Dr. Now doesn't believe he needs?  How did he get them?  How does he maintain prescriptions for that many meds without seeing a provider on a regular basis?  How, Mom???

Why did Sean gain 100 pounds over a couple of months after the initial visit with Dr. Now?  I remember Dr.  Now asking her how it happened and she pretended to be clueless.   Let's just say he wasn't given a prescribed diet (unlikely).   What the hell was she feeding that boy?  It wasn't Lean Cuisine, I guarantee you.

Why does Mom think it's always best to bump up his calories?  Really?

Why does Mom think Sean is pushing himself too much walking from the living room to the bedroom?   Sheeeesh!!!!

Sean wouldn't be at the hospital with Mom directing orders to Dr. Now if not for her continuing to feed Sean.  He's there BECAUSE OF MOM!!!!

So I've repeated things already said by others and left out some, but I'll stop my rant now.

As for Sean, I felt sorry for him this episode.  I hate what she has done to him.  But I don't think it's too late for Sean to be rehabilitated with the right programs and counseling as long as Mom stays away.

    The End.

  7. Just watched the first 10 mins of Sean's original episode.  When he was a senior in high school he fell down some steps, twisted his ankle and tore ligaments. He's been n bed ever since. And as has been said already, he also was born with clubbed feet (in the pop ups last night). So you may thank me now for clearing up the original injury so no one else has to go back and watch his mudder trying to clean between his folds and calling him kiddo.  I'm sorry, but that is one weird relationship. It's creepy actually.

  8. And I just don't understand the no carbs.  Even lettuce has carbs.  But then they end up eating Jello after the surgery.  What?

I'll reply to myself before someone else does.  I just looked on my sugar free jello and it has no carbs.

  9. This was a hard-core drug raid.  They weren't just looking for marijuana.  I've seen comments on what would or would not get the kids removed.   This should have done it.  And when you're asked to raise your stomach so they can look for drugs and question what the white powder is all over your belly, that should be a major wake-up call to get your act together and do what you can 100% to take care of yourself and your children.

I believe they said the baby had a major sugar crash not because of gestational diabetes but because all Ms. Juggagross ate was sugar during the pregnancy.

They have 3 different last names for the 4 of them.

Darlene's page is still public on FB as well as Nicole's being public still.

eta, if you find one then you can easily find the other 2, I didn't bother looking for the dad, not sure if they have FB in prison.

Do you guys realize they had a drug raid during this show?! Unbelievable! And there's the kids, walking over broken glass and topple furniture..yep..everyday life for this family.

OMG, girl, the snark for that show. Check out the forum for that show, and just read maybe the last few pages of the Whitney thread. We are all truly horrified, as you are.

Thanks for directing me there.  Oh, my.  You-all are hilarious!!

  12. Is anyone else bothered that TLC promotes the show "My Big Fat Fabulous Life," or whatever it's called, during 600 LB Life?   I am.  Being morbidly obese is not anything to celebrate.   I haven't watched Fat Fabulous Life, so someone can correct me if maybe she's on a weight loss journey herself.  She looks though to be the same weight in the commercial as last year, that is, morbidly obese.

I opened an account here just to make that comment.  That's how bothered I am by it.
