You know, the Attorney General of Florida that was in the process of deciding whether to go after Trump University for fraud, but decided against it after she just so happened to get a $25,000 donation? That Pam Bondi? I feel like we're in the fucking Twilight Zone. How was this not a huge! media! scandal!1 BEFORE he was elected, let alone NOW? Um, I'm usually pretty up to date on news, but... how in the fucking fuck did I miss this? How was this not all over the media? “Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to president Trump. It’s everyone who’s ever doubted Donald, whoever disagreed, whoever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe." That gave me chills. I am definitely not a hyperbolic person, but... this, to me, confirms that the fear millions of us Americans have of a Trump presidency SHOULD be terrified. Especially since Omarosa worked with his campaign. She was one of his major surrogates.

You guys, Seth Meyers' segment tonight was so good. Him getting emotional got me emotional all over again. I have to say, he's probably been my favorite person this election. His "A Closer Look" segment digs deeper than most other ACTUAL news pundints. I love his "Were at Late Night, we'll be watching you." threat at the end. People like him and the amazing Samantha Bee aren't going to take his shit.

I just want to say thank you so much to this thread. So many amazing posts and while mine probably won't be any different than most of the posts here, it'll be cathartic to get it off my chest. I've cried. I've shouted in anger. I've sat in stunned silence... I cannot fathom how this has happened. The thing that sickens me the most about all of this is a) President Obama, our first black president, has to hand over the White House to a man that has been proudly endorsed by the KKK. The same man that spent YEARS trying to delegitimize his entire existence, being the founder of the birther movement. That, and the fact that Hillary won the popular vote. WE THE PEOPLE voted for her, NOT Trump. He is NOT my president. The electoral college has got to go. Two times in 16 years this has happened, and this one is the worst consequence of it. My entire family is basically Trump loving ignorant people. A few days ago, my dad's uncle said "Hillary has already been pardoned. Obama pardoned her"... I mean, where do they get this stuff? But the most important person in my life, my mother, THANK GOD stood up for her morals and beliefs. She's been a lifelong Republican and voted Democrat for the first time this election. She voted for Hillary and down ticket except for one vote. THAT is how much Donald Trump scares her. That's how much Pat McCrory has fucked up this state. She's sickened and stunned that so many people. The media hammering on and on and on about the damn emails, attacking the Clinton Foundation... all while ignoring Trump and his shady slush fund foundation, not hammering him about his taxes, not hammering him about the Trump University fraud... and so on and so on... It sickens me. CNN and the like? They helped create this monster. They wanted ratings. They wanted this horse race. And now they're just oh so shocked that this man has somehow won. Who wants to bet they'll finally do their damn jobs and NOW start talking ad nauseum about his 209420398 scandals? Between the media, Russia, the freakin' FBI... what the hell happened to this country? When did this kind of obstruction and corruption start? The best I can think of is the really crazy faction of today's Republicans started with the Tea Party with Sarah Palin and such. It's funny how they like to say OBAMA created this racism and division, when it was really just assholes rose up because a black man had the nerve to become president.
