Impending disaster - I wasn't impressed with anyone thus far. I wish his parents knew the real sleeping around & cheating Devin, because if they had any sense they wouldn't pick anyone for him, for the woman's sake. Then in the previews didn't he say he f*d the wedding planner?? He needs STD testing before he goes near anyone; blech. No way is this guy marriage material. I feel like I need a shower after watching his segments.

The women so far, again I'm feeling an immaturity level. Who picks a father to help her find a mate who has been married 5 times himself? Yeah, that should work...

The other one with the red streaks guzzling wine needs someone who can 'afford her' & admits to being difficult. What she really needs is a decent shirt & a bra at least for when dad is over. Again, not marriage ready.

There's someone else next week... my hopes are not too high given what I've already seen.

The no bra when dad stopped over was super weird and kind of icky. I don't think I even processed what she was saying...rather kept trying to imagine conversing with my father while my chi chi's were hanging out there.

I think Meri wanted to take Sol with her to Utah when she wanted to talk to Mariah about the Catfish Situation. She wanted to use him as a buffer or distraction during that discussion. Robyn's reasons for not wanting him to go were bullshit (he wouldn't sleep or something stupid) but I think she correctly suspected Meri's true motivation in wanting to take him. And as it turned out, it was a good call not taking him. Mariah was quite a pill during that visit.

Robin was very obviously lying which Meri I'm sure saw through. Watching Kody trying to half way agree with the phony excuse was almost painful. I think you're right on about why she wanted to take him. But I doubt Meri bringing him would make things any less awkward with her pissed off daughter.

Wasn't that part of an episode last season? I haven't watched the sHow in years.

I always just assume that 99 percent of what's on the show is manufactured drama anyway.

Yes, it was an older episode. Back when I saw that particular show, I wasn't a member here (just stumbled upon this site ?). I'm sure in the grand scheme of all their drama, it's insignificant. But it stuck in my mind because my impression was that Robin was lying like a rug and Kody awkwardly half agreed with her.

  4. Has there been a discussion regarding Robin not letting Meri take Solomon on vaca with her? If so, would someone be so kind as to tell me which page? I binge read the main discussion and only saw one comment barely touching on it. Something about Meri and her sneaky shifty eyes when she asked Cody and Robin lol.

Oh I do too.  He even put his arm around her before that too WHILE her husbands arm was around her lol Whose name i keep forgetting.....

I'm glad others noticed this. Tear wiping, then his arm around her at the same time as Brett. The whole thing was a little too orgy'ish.

  6. If he is evading taxes altogether or only claiming a portion of his income, I can see why he's avoiding even a prepaid card. To set up relaodable cards, the user has to give up their social security number.

I heard DRIVER, but the tv said DIVER. I thought both were weird.  If he can drive then he can easily take classes to get his CDL, don't think he needs a green card for that?

That is totally his sister.  She looks EXACTLY like him.  She's Devar with a wig and boobs.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who thought they look like twins! He could have a GF down there who bore his children, but that lady is definitely not her.

As I watched this, I switched the genders in my mind.  What if I had a female friend who kept marrying lousy men, had been divorced three times and was going to marry a man who flat out said he didn't love her?  Maybe I would have been as pissed as Patrick too, however I probably wouldn't have expressed it the way he did.  The truth is that people will do what they want to do, even if it's not what is best for them, and sometimes you just have to let your friends go.

I have two girlfriends that habitually end up with the wrong kind of man. In the beginning, I talked to them until I was blue in the face, trying to prevent them getting hurt. But then I realized that all the wrong men weren't the problem, THEY were.

It's one thing to intervene (in a loving way) with a young inexperienced friend. But a 40 year old repeat offender, doesn't need and won't accept anyone's advice. Matt's a grown man, and is old enough to have common sense. His friends just need to let the train wreck happen, because interrogating Alla isn't going to prevent it.

I blame Matt for not shutting down that interrogation between Alla and his friend. Alla held her own against him but Matt should have stepped in too and told his friend off and to leave.

I hope Asan, Nicole, Narkiya and Lowo do not get together at all. How many more red flags do they need?!

Jorge is a lost cause. He's going to get killed driving and talking/texting, Anfisa is clearly over him and doesn't like America. He goes and buys her an engagement ring, what a doofus. If she stay and they married they only have themselves to blame.

I don't know about Pedro and Chantel yet. They should have thought things out earlier and not lied.

I hope next week is the finale followed by the reunion like the show that follows this one is doing.

Anfisa seemed to be interested in the most expensive dress and ring, not because they were more her taste but just for the fact that they were so much money. For a true bride, she is going to be very picky about what dress she wears and what the ring looks like, since she'll have it on her finger for decades. I'm wondering if she wants the most expensive items, so that she can flip them for the most cash when she leaves Jorge.

If Pedro is going to have to sign a pre-nup, it should not be rushed, he should have it available to him in Spanish, he should have a lawyer advocating for him, and he should have clauses that protect him as well.

I feel like Western culture is very much obsessed with the idea of love and the word love. Many people marry and claim they love one another and then 10 years later, they are embroiled in a bitter divorce. Alla seems to have a more practical approach - she cares about Matt, she uprooted herself and her son for a life here, and she's been quite amicable since she arrived. Matt has been married 3 times so clearly that love wasn't enough to keep those relationships afloat. I was annoyed that Alla had to stand up for herself to get Patrick to shut up and leave; it's like Matt was afraid to say anything to Patrick. If even Patrick's girlfriend is appalled by his behavior, Matt should have felt confident enough to tell Patrick to go fuck himself.

My impression was that he was totally on board with the line of questioning, he is insecure and needs to hear all the reasons someone loves him. And later on to Alla...'wow, that was so uncalled and crappy' (what Patrick did) , then it immediately turns it into 'so why don't say you love me, cuz we do that in America!'.

He is so emotionally needy and she is very pragmatic, and not ruled by feelings. They are what hubby and I were 20 years ago. He even stomped out of my apartment when I didn't tell him I loved him back, after 2 weeks of dating. From experience, I would tell Alla to run!
