So has Liz finally realized that Ed is not a good person? Is she getting there?

I cannot believe she subjects her daughter to him. She is teaching her daughter that it is OK to be ill treated by a man. What an example she is setting!

You are not wrong at all in your feelings about Kody and Robyn, I feel the same way.  We don't know the family personally,  but we have seen the children grow up on t.v. and we have seen how devastated they were due to Kody's abandonment and that makes it so much worse. Especially Garrison and Gabe. I have a son that is Gabe's age and it was so heartbreaking listening to them trying to be strong about not having Kody in their lives. It makes me very angry thinking about the way Kody and Robyn have treated all of the other children that don't live with them. There's alot of angry people that feel the same way. My heart breaks for Janelle, Christine and all of their children. This is every mother's/ family's worst nightmare. It's so heartbreaking that Gabe found him.

What a terrible loss but it is Gabe who is most in my thoughts. Garrison‘s pain is done. And it is tragic that it could not have been healed and removed in a different way. But Gabe, who always radiated pain about his father, must be hurting even worse. Maybe what saved Gabe was that he seemed to be able to express that pain  better than Garrison. So Garrison was consumed by it.

Why did Amy even have kids?  She doesn't seem to enjoy being with them, she has no patience for them and is completely overwhelmed by them.  The very same things can be said about me, which is why I don't kids.

Same for me which is why I did not have kids.  Having kids is a choice just like having animals in your life is a choice. And if you do either one, you better damn well live up to the responsibility of their care.

maybe this is why her husband stopped helping. Because she was not participating. That doesn’t excuse him either because neither one of them put their children’s welfare ahead of their own.

Gage is picking up on her stress which is making his behavior even worse.  If she doesn’t pull up her big curl panties and start living up to her responsibilities there is no hope for those boys. They will be obese and dysfunctional just like the rest of the family.

And I have dealt with clinical depression and anxiety my entire life and I have managed to live up to my responsibilities.  She lost me when, in a prior episode,  Tammy asked her to clean up the house after herself and the kids and IMMEDIATELY the pouting and crocodile tears started falling.  And it happens every time somebody asks her to step up.

I strongly suspect the boys went to the beach because Amy and TLC want to film them.  I, for one, am not buying Amy's "mental health crisis."  In my opinion, this is a combination of Amy trying to wrest the story line away from her more successful sister, getting a big head from the show and her fan base, thinking she's too good for her "toothless bald" husband, being negatively influenced by the newly divorced Amanda (misery loves company), and perhaps realizing too late that having two young kids isn't the fairy tale she thought it would be, but rather a lot of hard work she's too bone lazy, stupid, and immature to do.  I am unmoved by her crocodile tears every time someone looks cross-eyed at her -- no pun intended.  Also, GO TAMMY!!!

    This!!!

I'm not buying the "poor Amy is clinically depressed" storyline...  Mostly she's p***** that Tammy is doing so well and turns out to be prettier than her with that lump gone from her forehead.  She's manipulated her family and the audience with those water works from Day One, so what's new?  I'm beginning to see her as a truly malignant character.  I wish Tammy could separate herself from "the clan," but the enmeshment is so great that I doubt that will happen.  I just hope living with Amy the Enabler doesn't completely derail her.

I have not been buying it, either with regard to Amy.  I cannot seem to find any sympathy for her. She wanted kids. She was told after her surgery to wait. She didn’t.   She was told after the first one to wait and she didn’t. She’s a lazy person and kids are a lot of work.
And, if her husband did nothing, what is all this boo-hooing about having to do it alone?  When he was there, according to her, she not only had to take care of the kids she was taking care of him. I’m not buying it.

She criticizes about how long it took Tammy yet who was going out and buying all the candy for her?  Who was the major enabler?  In my opinion, Amy is trying to sabotage Tammy just as Tammy‘s husband is trying to sabotage her. She needs to get a better support system around her.

I'm so upset Caleb thinks tempting Tammy, and having that basket of junk food is a good idea.   I'm scared for him if that's his attitude.  It's not a joke.  Everything he has for their date is a big no-no on their diet.  I'm so disappointed in him.  I like that Tammy is staying strong.

He wants her back at the facility.

And finally, yes, I'm oh so tired of the Crying Amy show.  Go to the doctor.  Get some hormones or anti-depressants or whatever.

She is the Robyn Brown of 1000 lb Sisters.

I feel bad for Amy, but it was telling that when Tammy said ‘just clean up after the boys….and yourself’. Her first reaction was to pout & cry. She’s just sitting there, watching Tammy hold the baby…get up and clean something.

Nope.  She is not going to do it.  She is lazy.  She had no problem with roaches and mice crawling around in the same room as her baby after the first one was born.

If Tammy had been born into a different family, she could have made a good life for herself. Amy, not so much because that takes effort.

This. I'm wary of judging Michael yet.  We're only getting Amy's side of things.

What was with Chris' wife and the snacks? She's usually quiet. That was just odd.

I totally agree. She was being a food pusher and that is the last thing her husband and Tammy needs.

So tired of Amy's victim story!  Yeah, mothers have to juggle two babies when they have them; what's new?  Some husbands actually work, and some women don't have one!  Someone call Amy a WAH-mbulance,  And then the meltdown and waterworks to detract from all the positive attention Tammy was getting (and has earned)...

👏👏👏👏👏👏  You summed up my feelings about her perfectly!!!!

There are plenty of single mothers out there raising kids AND going to work every day.  She lives in a filthy house and whines. I have absolutely no sympathy for her. Tammy deserved better.

  11. This interviewer is just terrible. Just because Janelle has six kids, that is not evidence that the sex was good. The sex very well may have been good but having six kids is not evidence of that. Especially, when her role in his life was to be a breeder.

Its jus that they all have accepted his paltry offerings under the assumption that that was the best he could do.  It wasn't until they all saw his treatment of R and the tenders that it came into stark relief that he had a lot more to give -- he just didn't want to give it to them.   (a la Harry met Sally - "Its not that he didn't want to get married, it was that he didn't want to marry ME")  THAT was where the hurt began.

In my opinion, this is a very astute analysis.  Bravo.

This setup is discouraged nowadays, because this is being a plain old biological mother, blurring the concept of a surrogate. The "Baby M" case pretty much killed this model in the U.S., though there are still would-be gay dads without a $100,000 budget who might arrange this informally with a friend. Artificial insemination at home is easy and cheap.

Have to question why a 60 year old man gets involved with a young man who may want more children and why a 60 year old man agrees to have a baby. That is unfair to the child.  Al Pacino and Robert De Niro fall into the same category.

The way she clasped the mermaid's tale and scampered out to the pool like a ten- year old, then pouted and whined and missing mommy and..."I have to go back to America!" while stomping her little feet.

Not to mention the fact that he's working his ass off 12 hours a day and she spending his hard earned cash on mermaid tails!

What did Meri mean when she said she and Kody were official and she may need to take steps to dissolve it?  Where is it official? Dissolve it where?

She must mean the "spiritual" marriage.  They are legally divorced.  And I have a feeling that was the end of all of it for him.

Kody's told everyone except Meri that he doesn't want to be married to her. WE'VE known it, but he's been very careful to not say anything to her. It's about time, dude.

The fact that they are DIVORCED should've given her some clue!  That's the problem with cults – it's a prison of the mind.
